As it is revealed Carrie Johnson has been abusive to staff at Chequers, perhaps it is time for her to be told: “Carrie Shouldn’t Live Here Anymore;” this demanding wench along with her hapless husband deserve kicking out of all of their grace-and-favour residences ASAP
Situated 40 miles north-west of Central London at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, Chequers is an Elizabethan style residence that has been the official country residence of serving British Prime Ministers since 1921.
Listed Grade I and standing on an expansive plot of 1,500 acres, here is an especially tony crib that costs at least £916,000 a year to maintain. Now, though gifted originally primarily as a place for the incumbent PM to entertain visiting dignitaries, it seems that Boris Johnson’s self-entitled wife has decided that instead this is a place where she and her ABBA loving chums Henry Newman and Josh Grimstone are entitled to just frolic and fool around.
Former court jester to the modern-day Antoinette and one of those she supposedly nickname’s “The Gays,” Newman was so important to clearly tone deaf Mrs Johnson that she enabled him to celebrate his 38th birthday – hardly a milestone of any note – with a lavish bash at the estate in the summer of 2021. “It turned out to be a very high-spirited affair,” the Daily Mail’s Andrew Pierce reported in February, with “Housing Secretary Michael Gove riding pillion as Boris Johnson took him on a joy-ride on his second-hand Yamaha motorcycle around the grounds. Gove clasped his hands around Boris’s ample waist as they nudged speeds of 55mph, while Newman – clutching a flute of champagne – laughed and cheered.”
Exposing the misuse of this “retreat” further on Tuesday, The Times’s Simon Walters shared that Mr and Mrs Johnson began creating “tensions” at the Buckinghamshire residence before he even became Prime Minister. Aside from being “accused of failing to give enough notice before arriving,” the pair “were even trying to arrange to get into Chequers before [Philip and Theresa May] had gone. When he knew he was going to take over, they were trying to book ahead.”
Of their behaviour, a source shared: “It was chaos” and added that even when “they were told they couldn’t [come] because there were no staff,” they reversed – at no cost to themselves – David Cameron’s “austerity era” cuts and brought in at least four extra employees.
Now, after one now former employee who had supposedly “clashed with Carrie,” a housekeeper named Charlotte Vine MBE, received a payoff after denying accusations that she had the “inappropriate handling of a personal item” belonging to Johnson in his Chequers bathroom, it is time for a spring clean. Just like occurred with the squatting, property pest and “Nasty NestSeeker” Jonathan Davis, whose antics we reported on June 2020, the day when “Carrie Doesn’t Live Here Anymore” is played at Chequers is thankfully growing increasingly ever closer.
Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta with Britain’s Prime Minister at the Buckinghamshire pad in July 2021.Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel with Johnson at the mansion in July 2021.The current PM’s latest baby mama with her beloved party loving chum Henry Newman toadily following along and fawning behind her. He got his just rewards with a big bash in the country in the summer of 2021.Of 16th century origin, the house has served has the British Prime Minister’s country residence since 1921 after being gifted to the nation by Sir Arthur Lee (later The Right Honourable The Viscount Lee of Fareham GCB GCSI GBE PC) by a Deed of Settlement.Another view of this expansive residence. In the building is a stained glass window that reads: “This house of peace and ancient memories was given to England as a thank-offering for her deliverance in the great war of 1914 – 1918 as a place of rest and recreation for her Prime Ministers forever.” It is a great pity that the self-centred, self-serving woman formerly known as Carrie Symonds has decided to take it upon herself to misuse this generous gift.On Twitter, of the latest scandal to follow ‘Partygate,’ columnist turned ‘Bloody Difficult Women’ playwright Tim Walker opined: “The Johnsons never got that Chequers and Downing Street aren’t five-star hotels that tolerated Wayne and Waynetta Slob behaviour.”Another user, Louis Henwood added: “No wonder they call her Carrie Antoinette. She comes across as a self-obsessed prima donna, who treats employees as servants and then tries to get people she doesn’t like fired. Her only skill seems to be getting the rich and powerful to indulge her whims.”
The creepy Christian crooner Sir Cliff Richard’s 1979 song should be played as they likely, hopefully soon drum the most disgraceful Prime Minister and his equally ghastly puppet mistress out of their grace-and-favour residences. It’ll be chants of “good riddance” that come on that day from the vast majority.
It seems “Carrie doesn’t live here anymore” has become the likely fate of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s currently missing wine chucking puppet mistress as “Where is Carrie Johnson?” trends on Twitter
Conspicuously absent even before her spokesperson shared that she “apologises unreservedly” for breaching lockdown rules in a statement on 12th April, the Prime Minister’s latest ‘baby mama’s’ is on the missing list.
Speculation online has been wild and aside from suggestions that she might have gone off to her mates in Russia, other most likely far-fetched ideas number that:
She’s run off with her ex-lover Oliver Haiste.
She’s discovered Boris Johnson having an affair with a cabinet colleague and having chucked more wine at him, moved out.
Gone off to rescue the convicted sex offender and mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell; Miss Maxwell used to fund Mrs Johnson’s onetime employers, the Oceana charity.
Defected to support Labour and Sir Keir Starmer.
It wasn’t Rishi Sunak’s removal van that visited Downing Street recently, but instead hers.
Been put in rehab; she does have a history of chucking wine and the police being called.
Moved in with her husband’s arch nemesis Dominic Cummings.
Gone organic dining with Lady ‘Doors To Manual’ Bamford – whose firm supplied her with £27,000 worth of organic nosh during the 2020 lockdowns.
Been mauled to death by her aggressive terrier, Dilyn.
Been buried Brookside style under the ‘Partygate’ patio in the Downing Street garden.
Rather like a future line of inquiry for the Where’s Wally? series, the mystery of what has happened to Prime Minister’s current wife remains an open investigation.

Sir Cliff Richard’s Creepy 1979 Song
Released in December 1979 as the third single lifted from the Rock ‘n’ Roll Juvenile album, ‘Carrie’ reached number four in the UK Singles Chart and “became an international hit.”
It was written by Terry Britten and Brian A. Robertson and of it the latter once remarked: “The strength of the song comes from the fact that you’re never quite sure what it’s about. You don’t know whether Carrie is homeless or whether she’s squatting or what. You don’t know whether Cliff, as the narrator, is the husband, boyfriend, lover, brother or father. Nowhere does the song say what the relationship with Carrie is. It’s very mysterious and musically it falls in the same groove as ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine.’”
Taking an alternative view, AllMusic journalist Dave Thompson suggested of the song: “[It’s] a deliberately sinister and enthrallingly atmospheric number… [It] could sound trite” whilst the crackpot crooner ‘Cliffy’ himself told The Mail on Sunday of it in November 2008:
“It’s a mysterious song because you never really know what it’s about. A guy turns up in the neighborhood asking where Carrie is. The very last line goes: ‘Carrie doesn’t live, doesn’t live…’ You’re left thinking: ‘Is she dead? Has she been murdered?’”
The blithering buffoon that is Boris Johnson and the randy rotter that is Prince Andrew should do the decent thing… Disappear from public view forever and get a room together with their weird wack job wives
Boris Johnson can’t help telling porkie pies and nor can the Duke of York. Equally, the pugnacious pair of them have a problem with keeping their members in their pants and with each of them in frankly boiling hot water right now, it is time for them to both simply go.
Whilst Johnson clearly told falsehoods about going to a bring-your-own-bottle (BYOB) gathering that was clearly a “party” and not a “work event,” as he cretinously claimed in the House of Commons on Wednesday, Prince Andrew’s problems before a New York judge increased significantly also yesterday. This occurred simply because of the same traits shared by these two twerps – sheer arrogance and a complete lack of moral compasses.
Neither ‘Randy Andy’ nor ‘Buffoon Boris’ needed to end up where they have, but neither mouse-not-men have the nous to see when common sense needs to prevail and equally both are guided by rotten, ridiculous women.
In ‘Farting Fergie’ – a woman described in The Sunday Telegraph last weekend by an ‘insider’ as a spendaholic for whom “it doesn’t matter how much money she has, it just seems to slip through her fingers” – the queen’s supposed “favourite son” has a noose round his neck.
Condemned elsewhere by the usually anything but spot on the mark acerbic pen of Amanda Plattell in the Daily Mail on Saturday as a “cling-on… life sentence” just for her presence, whilst the toesucking lover that is the former Sarah Ferguson is a well-meaning yet totally incapable simpleton, Johnson’s appendage is actually a far more dangerous deviant.
It is now time for these four freaks to take the only option left to them… Disappear from public view forever and get a room. They say “birds of a feather flock together” and in Andy, Boris, Carrie and Fergie, there’s most definitely one of those.
Boris Johnson and Prince Andrew (pictured together along with Prince Harry, Prince Michael of Kent, Carrie Symonds and the Duchess of Sussex) are birds of a feather. They both like younger women and they both behave like buffoons.Yesterday, television presenter and ‘Queen of Gorbals Gobbledygook’ Lorraine Kelly OBE amusingly tweeted: “Well Boris Johnson will be most grateful to Prince Andrew for taking the heat off.” In due course, their roles will certainly reverse.Last April, in spite of likely facing having to pay a settlement of what could amount to as much as £10 million to Virginia Giuffre (née Roberts), the Duke of York treated himself to a new motor, a £220,000 Bentley. How does someone with no tangible or credible source income afford such and how did he has live-in ex-wife afford to buy an £18 million ski chalet also?Equally and displaying the same traits, one has to ask if it is right that Boris and Carrie Johnson were able indulge in £27,000 of takeaways from Daylesford Organic and wallpaper at £840 a roll as part of their £200,000 makeover of their grace and favour flat in Downing Street. Ordinary people are rightly outraged at their Marie Antoinette-like antics of another couple clearly living beyond their means. For once in her sorry existence, Amanada Platell got it right in suggesting Prince Andrew is already living a “life sentence” in being stuck with his dimwitted dope of an ex-wife last Saturday in her ‘Daily Mail’ column: “Some legal experts say the very least Prince Andrew can expect is social exile, being stripped of his royal title and forced to sever all his military connections. Surely still living with his cling-on ex-wife Fergie is a life sentence for any man?”Prince Andrew has been reduced to having the likes of anti-democracy supporting Bernie Ecclestone – a man who once said he’d take a bullet for President Putin and lauded Adolf Hitler for “get[ting] things done” – round for dinner at his crib (presumably Sloppy Giuseppe’s from Pizza Express, Woking were served). That he keeps such company speaks volumes as to his clear decline in popularity in more dignified social circles in the wake of the death of his one-time ‘bestie,’ croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.Carrie Johnson describes Henry Newman as “one of my four favourite people” whilst her hubby Boris labelled him “one of my three musketeers.” That this couple rely on people suspected as a leaker is one thing, but that this former PR peddler also worked for Oceana, a charity with clear links to the incarcerated mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell is quite something else.
‘The Steeple Times’ chooses our Heroes & Villains 2021; the 25 best and 25 worst people of the last year and the 25 who’ll be missed and the 25 who won’t
Happy New Year to all our readers. Our ‘Heroes & Villains’ list was well received in 2020 and as we move into 2021, we yet again to echo our sentiments from last year and join all celebrating ‘good riddance’ to the monstrous mess that so sadly continued from 2020 into 2021.
May we now all hope that this period of uncertainty is coming towards it end and may we salute the heroic frontline workers who’ve continued to work towards getting a solution to this.
Our Heroes & Villains 2021 list follows, but first we make a special award:
For such amazing dedication and tenacity in his quest to help others, this 24-year-old truly deserves to be commended as not just a hero of the year, but as one of the most remarkable men of the decade. We salute Marcus Rashford and join those lauding him for showing compassion, kindness and decency.
Long may this decent gent continue – but may we also hope that one day soon, a country like Britain stops actually needing to rely on the efforts of such people. It is time in 2022 for our Prime Minister to work towards provide a solution to this crisis, rather than, as it did in 2021, to allow itself to get mixed up in scandals such as ‘Wallpapergate’ and the disgraceful protection of its very own self-serving members like ‘MP for the BVI’ Geoffrey Cox QC and the now money grabbing rather than constituent focused ex-MP Owen Paterson.
HEROES OF 2021
We’ve seen some great people do some wonderful things during 2022 and in the face adversity and strife, it is yet again healthcare heroes who are the ones most deserving of our ultimate respect as they continue to fight to rid us all of coronavirus.
Elsewhere, others have put on extreme shows of courage, broken down barriers and supported those working to expose injustice. We celebrate them all, but our first selection for our Heroes & Villains 2021 list had to be:
WINNER – Richard Ratcliffe
Iranian-British dual citizen Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been imprisoned for no good reason in Iran for 19 months. Her husband, Richard Ratcliffe, meanwhile, has never given up hope and his 21-day hunger strike in Westminster in 2021 was illustration of his dedication and courage.
Though the British government has done little to nothing to help him and that the Foreign Secretary has yet to reach a solution is beyond disgraceful, Ratcliffe remains hopeful and in December remarked: “It feels like things are moving and movement is good. My greatest fear is inertia. I always feel it’s shameful, how could it happen, but it did.”
Rose Ayling-Ellis
Aged just 27 and born deaf, Rose Ayling-Ellis has played Frankie Lewis in the BBC One soap EastEnders since 2020. In 2021, she became the first deaf contestant on the channel’s Strictly Come Dancing and went on to win the show’s nineteenth series.
Her victory brought joy to the nation and of her success, award winning deaf and disabled journalist Liam O’Dell remarked: “It goes to show how, with the right support, deaf people can achieve anything… It’s important now that the buzz, passion and momentum generated by Rose’s journey does not dissipate – let’s continue uplifting deaf people!”
Alfie Best
In spite of being of humble origins and leaving school aged just 12, “old school, blood and blisters businessman” Alfie Best has risen to the top and deservedly recently won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ at the Signature Awards at the Park Lane Hilton, London.
Described as “the world’s first gypsy billionaire” by the Mirror in August 2021, Wlydecrest Parks chairman and founder Best remarked: “I’m a Romany gypsy. I’m a gypsy through and through and sometimes I pinch myself.”
Generous, flamboyant and the owner of a fleet of helicopters and supercars, Best is the largest residential park and holiday home operator in the UK. He has over 91 parks in the UK alone and is also the owner of East Thurrock United.
Alfie Best, interviewed first by The Steeple Times in April 2017, is someone with tenacity and dedication to hard work. He sets an example to others that if you put in the hours, you’ll get the results and success you desire.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, LG, GCVO, CSM, PC
Herself an “avid reader as a child,” the second wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, started what she described as a ‘Reading Room’ that is “inspired by the success of Her Royal Highness’s reading lists shared during the pandemic in 2020” in the last year.”
It has involved everyone from William Boyd and Susan Hill to Kazuo Ishiguro and Hilary Mantel and of why she started it, she herself stated:
“To me, reading is a great adventure. I’ve loved it since I was very small and I’d love everybody else to enjoy it as much as I do. You can escape and you can travel and you can laugh and you can cry. There’s every kind of emotion that humans experience in a book… It has been a lovely way of communicating.”
We urge readers of The Steeple Times to join the 128,000 who’ve already followed this worthy endeavour on Instagram.
Tony Hudgell (AKA ‘Bear’)
Happy New Year Everyone🎉 A message from Tony see you in 2022
Wishing you all health, love and happiness in the year to come 💙
— Tony Hudgell BEM (BCyA) Paula Hudgell OBE (@paula_hudgell) December 31, 2021
In his relatively short life thus far, 7-year-old double amputee and victim of parental abuse as a baby Tony Hudgell has morphed into a courageous changemaker.
This unstoppable dynamo – now adopted by two loving parents and living in West Malling, Kent – is a true “inspiration” and described as someone who “never complains, carries on no matter what is thrown at him – all the challenges, he just gets back up and carries on.”
Nicknamed ‘Captain’ for following in the footsteps of the late Captain Sir Tom Moore, Weller responded to the news by announcing:
“I’m chuffed to bits… It feels absolutely amazing to be honoured by the Queen. My mum told me about the award on Christmas Day and I thought, ‘wow! I am so excited.’”
“It makes me feel magnificent. I love raising money for charity and knowing I have helped other children is a lovely feeling. I am so proud and privileged.”
VILLAINS OF 2021
As could only be expected, many of the usual suspects to be considered villains in the context of our Heroes & Villains listings have behaved appallingly during 2021. Amongst them, towards the top of such a collection, has to be the buffoon that supposedly runs Britain but seems too busy consuming cheese and wine with his puppet mistress wife, Boris Johnson, and the mendacious money grabber the Duchess of Sussex and her sidekick drip of a husband, Prince Harry.
This dastardly duo – quite rightly now known as ‘Ginge and Cringe’ – have caused pain to the Queen at a time when she has lost her stalwart husband and joining them, others consistent in their vileness and ridiculousness must include, as ever, publican Tim Martin for whining about his beloved Brexit causing his profits to slump and the especially moronic media mouthpieces Darren Grimes, Owen Jones and Richard Madeley for their continuing crackpot craziness.
Now, unlike the entirely innocent and wrongly incarcerated Nazanin Zaghhari-Ratcliffe, rightly certain to spend the rest of her days rotting in the clink, mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell (pictured in happier times with her father’s rival, Rupert Murdoch) will never again be called a “socialite.”
This wicked wench will henceforth quite deservedly will forever be labelled a “sex offender” and “sex trafficker” and again The Steeple Times joins those calling for the 1994 Met Police investigation into what went on at the alleged brothel at her Stanhope Mews East mews house to urgently be reopened.
We know that’ll be unlikely to occur whilst her school and university mate Dame Cressida Dick remains in charge and equally, we suspect, the deviant daughter of a murdering pension pot plunderer will not offer up any powerful names of those that so disgustingly ‘enjoyed’ abusing the innocent victims she so willingly passed around.
Shame on her and in 2022 and beyond, may Ghislaine Maxwell forever rot in hell.
Russell Brand
In June 2021, The Steeple Times featured the story of how The Sun excused the unfunny comedian Russell Brand as “quick thinking and a hero” after his German Shepherd dog, Bear, caught a female wallaby “whilst it had its baby in its pouch” and “mauled it to death” in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. He should have instead been condemned and most certainly not saluted and at time we remarked:
“If Brand’s dog had attacked sheep or a child – which it quite potentially could do next given it plainly has a clear penchant for blood – would The Sun so easily have leapt to his defence? The hypocrisy of this shocking story is clear and today we call upon the RSPCA and police to intervene before Brand’s dog slaughters something else.”
As far as we are aware, disgustingly, both Bear and Brand remain at large; where the poor wallaby and its baby is buried is, however, unknown.
Gordon Elliott
Racing “blow-in” – given his being the son of a panel-beater and lacking any familial connections to horse racing – Gordon Elliott brought utter disgrace to the sport in March 2021 when he was banned as a trainer for 12 months after being captured on camera sitting on a dead horse whilst on his mobile phone and making a V-sign. Outrageously, this sick scumbag was allowed back into the game just 6 months later and nobody seemed to bat an eyelid.
Ivy Holt
PR pontificating prized pillock Ivy Holt of Media PR is so “highbrow” that we haven’t even got a photo of her – not that we’re bothered; it’d probably break your screens, she’s probably as ugly as sin physically on top of her ugly as sin soul.
This wannabe Brian Basham and fake news muckspreader was called out by The Steeple Times on 1st April 2021 – April Fools’ Day – after she tried to make a mockery of our previous day’s story about the twentieth anniversary of the tragic murder of Stuart Lubbock at the home of the disgraced ‘entertainer’ Michael Barrymore. Shame on her; what an utter disgrace.
Ms Holt (AKA Ivy Elizabeth Barbara Elsby) thought herself clever for sending a press release containing nothing but fake news. When questioned, she claimed that we, instead, were at fault for hurting the feelings of the deranged drug addict Lindsay Lohan. Frankly, this stupid cow and her crappy clients ‘Love Yourself’ ought to have got real. Next!
Rebecca Sabben-Clare
If you were a barrister, you’d most probably abide by the law and be a pillar of the community. Sadly, Rebecca Sabben-Clare of 7 King’s Bench isn’t such a person and after failing to keep her dog on a lead, the result was that her out-of-control beast savagely killed a seal that it managed to get its teeth into.
Sabben-Clare, instead of putting her hands up in shame, then tried to PR her way out of the situation and herself lawyered up. Why the police didn’t prosecute this unfit-to-own-an-animal-of-any-kind barbarian is beyond comprehension.
James Staley (AKA ‘Jes Staley’)
In February 2020, The Steeple Times made reference to an investigation into Barclays CEO Jes Staley (pictured left) in connection to his close connection to the croaked just under a year earlier paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
It took 627 days until anything progressed, but on 1st November 2021, this Boston, Massachusetts born close associate of Ghislaine Maxwell’s ex-lover finally stepped down. The mucky madam, meanwhile, had her Barclays account closed shut down while she was trying to fund her case in February 2020 on the basis of her links to the proceeds of crime.
THOSE WHO’LL BE MISSED
Sadly, as with any year, countless great people pass on into the skies and amongst the many who’ll be greatly missed are are the Queen’s late husband and constant stalwart Prince Philip, the billionaire businessmen Sir David Barclay and Galen Weston OC, CVO, OOnt, footballer Jimmy Greaves, founder of Tramp nightclub Johnny Gold, the Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, the talk show host Larry King, the actresses Helen McCrory OBE and Una Stubbs, the racehorse trainer Zoe Davison and the Cheveley Park Stud owner David Thompson CBE.
Our twenty-five selections follow, but naturally the winner of the most missed for our Heroes & Villains 2021 list had to be:
WINNER – Archbishop Desmond Tutu OMSG CH GCStJ
A 90-year-old humanitarian, human rights activist and key force in the campaign to end apartheid, this humble South African hero to millions insisted on “no ostentatiousness or lavish spending” for his funeral and that he be given “the cheapest available coffin.”
Of him, via a video message shown at his funeral, Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, the head of the worldwide Anglican church, remarked:
“Archbishop Tutu lit up the world… that light has lit up countries globally that were struggling with fear, conflict, persecution, oppression, where the marginalised suffered.”
“When we were in the dark, he brought light. For me to praise him is like a mouse giving tribute to an elephant.”
“South Africa has given us extraordinary examples of towering leaders of the rainbow nation with President Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Tutu… Many Nobel winners’ lights have grown dimmer over time, but Archbishop Tutu’s has grown brighter.”
The late Archbishop himself once wisely added: “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse, and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.” He was spot on and with his passing, humanity is all the poorer.
Harry Brant
A “socialite and style setter” according to The New York Times, Harry Brant fulfilled the prophecy of “the good die young” when he was found dead aged just 24 in January 2021.
Son of the industrialist Peter M. Brant and original supermodel Stephanie Seymour, this modern-day “Little Lord Fauntleroy,” as Vanity Fair once called him, “pushed the boundaries on gender stereotype” and released unisex makeup collections with MAC with his brother even in 2015 and 2016.
Of his passing, his family announced in a statement: “He was a creative, loving and powerful soul that brought light into so many people’s hearts. He was truly a beautiful person inside and out.”
John Challis
The Steeple Times interviewed actor John Challis in May 2013. He told us that “mobile phones are a bloody nuisance” and that he loathed the word “gobsmacked.” He spoke of ABBA being his guilty pleasure and his love of the Hotel Splendido in Portofino and though he became best known for playing a conniving car dealer in Only Fools and Horses, he was only meant to be in the sitcom for one episode.
Thrice married and born in Clifton, Bristol, the legend that was John Challis died aged 79 in September 2021. The statement: “Come on, Marlene. Let’s go home and ignore each other for the evening” will sadly now never be heard directly from his lips ever again.
Terry Lubbock
A campaigner to the end for justice for his raped and murdered son, Stuart – a father of two who was killed in the most gruesome manner in March 2001 at the home of the since deservedly disgraced ‘entertainer’ Michael Barrymore – died after a long battle with cancer in September 2021.
Though he never managed to see any of those present at the Roydon, Essex bungalow when his son died, he will forever be remembered for being “mild-mannered” yet having “the heart of a lion.”
Wilbur Smith
Born in Northern Rhodesia in 1933, British-South African novelist Wilbur Smith (pictured with his beloved wife, Niso) had published an astonishing 49 books and sold over 140 million copies by the time he died in November 2021.
Smith was an international household name whose swashbuckling adventure stories gripped readers for over half a century. He covered critical periods including the dawn of colonial Africa, the American Civil War and the apartheid era South Africa and did so with style and panache.
In 2018, in his memoir On Leopard Rock, the author recounted his life and remarked he’d had ““tough times, bad marriages … burnt the midnight oil getting nowhere, but it has, all in the end, added up to a phenomenally fulfilled and wonderful life.” Believer in “deep research” Smith concluded: “I want to be remembered as somebody who gave pleasure to millions” and he most certainly will.
THOSE WHO WON’T BE MISSED
It is much harder to choose villains who deserve to be dead than heroes who deserve to be missed given they are all loved by somebody whatever they may have done, but lots of bad guys and gals have gone in 2021 – amongst them mobsters, murderers, rapists and sex offenders.
Those that especially stand out for our Heroes & Villains 2021 list include:
WINNER – Bernard L. Madoff
Having been sent to prison for 150 years, the maximum sentence allowed, on 29th June 2009, Queens, New York born Bernie Madoff died in prison on 14th April 2021.
An individual rotten to his core and the personification of greed this Ponzi schemer stole not only £48 billion ($65 billion), but also left behind a family in ruins. One of his two sons died of cancer, the other committed suicide and to the end this wicked “wizard of lies” and all-round wrong ‘un.
Quite rightly, in June 2020, this fraudster’s request for release on compassionate grounds was denied. His wife, Ruth, continues to deny any knowledge of the fraud in spite of being the long-time keeper of his books.
Michael McKevitt
Founder of the Real IRA Michael McKevitt was the brother-in-law of hunger striking Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) hunger striker Bobby Sands.
A County Leith native and eventually expelled from the Real IRA, McKevitt was one of four men found liable for the 1988 Omagh bombing and jailed in 2003 for “directing terroism” between August 1999 and October 2000. He had allegedly planned to assassinate the then British Prime Minister Tony Blair and died following a battle with cancer on 2nd January 2021.
Donald Rumsfeld, 13th and 21st United States Secretary of Defense
Forever more, Donald Rumsfeld’s name will be associated with “the biggest military fiasco in US history, the 2003 invasion of Iraq in pursuit of non-existent weapons of mass destruction, alongside the widespread use of torture that has dogged America’s reputation ever since” according to The Guardian.
A Donald Trump supporter described by Henry Kissinger as “the most ruthless man” he ever knew, the villain Rumsfeld was also labelled the “worst secretary of defense in American history” and a man who “lacked the wisdom to change his mind” by The Atlantic. Many believe this psychopath will burn in hell; they are more than likely right.
Phil Spector (born Harvey Phillip Spector)
Born in The Bronx, New York in December 1939, this clearly talented but totally unsound of mind American record producer, musician and songwriter worked with The Beatles, The Ronettes and Tina Turner.
In 2009, this monstrous twisted drug addict was convicted of the 2003 murder by shooting of the actress Lana Clarkson at his then home, the Pyrenees Castle in Alhambra, California, and sentenced to nineteen years to life in prison. Phil Spector died in the clink in Los Angeles, in January 2021. The world is a better place for this repugnant specimen’s passing.
Raymond Teret (AKA ‘Ugli’ and ‘Ugly Ray’)
Chauffeur to the perverted paedophile Sir Jimmy Savile turned radio DJ, Salisbury born Ray Teret was accused of over thirty offences of sexual abuse and eventually convicted of seven counts of rape and eleven counts of indecent assault in December 2014.
AND FINALLY… A SELECTION OF FIVE AMAZING ANIMALS WHO’VE SADLY LEFT US IN 2021
Some incredible animals spotted doing incredible things have kept us all going in the dark days 2021, but amongst those that sadly passed and are thus included on our Heroes & Villains 2021 list are:
WINNER – Seal named ‘Freddie Mercury’
Though the death of any majestic animal is awful, the way in which an irresponsible barrister (one of our Villains of 2021) named Rebecca Sabben-Clare QC reacted after her “snarling” terrier-cross mauled to death a “defenceless” seal on the River Thames in March 2021 was utterly disgraceful.
‘Freddie Mercury,’ as the seal was nicknamed, shamefully never got justice whilst the reprehensible Sabben-Clare was not even prosecuted. The lesson here is this: If you spot this wicked woman and her deranged dog in 2022, run for the hills.
Racehorse named ‘Galileo’
Aged 23 at the time of his death in July 2021, Galileo was a spectacular Irish Thoroughbred racehorse who ran eight times and won six races including The Derby, the Irish Stakes, the King George VI and the Queen Elizabeth Stakes in 2001. After his retirement, he became one of the most sought after sires of the world with notable offspring including Frankel, Nathaniel, and Anthony Van Dyck.
Minke whale calf named ‘Minnie’
In May 2021, an injured minke whale calf became trapped at Teddington Lock in the River Thames. Stuck sixty miles from the estuary, this poor 13-foot long juvenile – which was named ‘Minnie’ – got stuck in weeds after “running out of river and having nowhere to go.” After a desperate attempt to save the “poor fella,” the unfortunate mammal had to be put down with an overdose of anaesthetic.
Racehorse named ‘Roy Rocket’
With nine 1st places along with two 2nd and six 3rd places at Brighton during his eleven-year life, “Roy’s The Boy,” as he was known was “an incredible horse.” Stubborn to the point he wouldn’t go anywhere else, this favourite of punters even had an octogenarian fan named Iris who forced his trainer, John Berry, to down flasks of gin prior to sending him to post.
Dolphin named ‘Winter’
This female Atlantic bottlenose dolphin was found when she circa two months old tangled in a crab trap line in Mosquito Lagoon, Florida in December 2005. Without circulation to her tail flukes as a result, ‘Winter’ lost her tail and was given a prosthetic replacement. In turn, it allowed her make a complete recovery and become an international star featuring in books, films and Nintendo games even. She died in November 2021 of a twisted intestine.

Labour loudmouth Stella Creasy MP proves herself to be nothing but a petulant pain in the arse in moaning about not being able to breastfeed her brat in the House of Commons
Writing to moan about how she’s outraged about not being able to perform a “Tamara Ecclestone” and titty-feed her blessed brat in the House of Commons, Creasy – who is paid a basic salary of £81,932 plus allowed to claim vast expenses that those working in the private sector would never get – stated: “I was baffled to be told I cannot take [my child] into Parliament with me.”
Going further, this whingeing woman bleated about “antiquated rules” and complained that both she and her son, Pip, have been made to feel “unwelcome” in the House of Commons.
Avoiding the fact that Parliament is meant to be a place where legislature is made rather than a creche full of screeching kiddies, the “grandstanding” MP for Walthamstow then added:
“Parliament denied me maternity cover on the basis that democracy demands no one else can substitute for me. With little support from the authorities or indeed my own political party, I have worked as best I can while managing the needs of my now 13-week-old son.”
“Challenging this is not about me – frankly it is too late to recoup the precious early weeks with my son. Those who suffer the most are the residents of my Walthamstow constituency – denied a voice in parliament by antiquated rules, met by a tired and frazzled mum in their constituency.”
Elsewhere this morning, the MailOnline reported that Creasy had been spotted last night at The Spectator Parliamentarian of the Year Awards at 11pm at night with her child in tow. Aside from being criticised for this irresponsible and inconsiderate behaviour to both her son and others present, she was slammed by ‘Red Wall’ Conservative MP Scott Benton.
Of her, the Blackpool South MP raged: “Parents who get paid a fraction of what you do pay for childcare and juggle responsibilities so they can go to work. What makes you so special?” whilst Susan Hall, who leads the Tories on the Greater London Assembly quite sesnibly added: “Mothers have to find childcare in the real world, it’s what they do.”
Nobody forced Stella Creasy to become a Member of Parliament and nobody forced her to become a parent. Given her salary surely allows her to be able to afford childcare, why doesn’t she just hire someone to help her if she’s so stressed? It is time that this over-entitled woman did just one thing instead: Put a bloody sock in it on this subject and put her paid work for her constituents first.
Pictured top – The Member for Walthamstow has repeatedly brought her child to Parliament in spite of this being in breach of current rules.
Nobody with half a brain would think it appropriate to take a 13-week-old child to ‘The Spectator’ Parliamentarian of the Year Awards. Clearly, the Member for Walthamstow doesn’t fall into that category and arrogantly did just that last night. On previous occasions the Labour MP has been seen at other events with her infant son. Instead of considering the child’s welfare, this Sutton Coldfield born woman seems to consider it a political prop.On Friday, after Creasy was condemned for her actions in the ‘Daily Mail,’ she responded on Twitter by stating: “Beginning to sense the @DailyMailUK really not keen to see women of child bearing age leave the house let alone work.”
As it is revealed that Melania Trump was nicknamed “Rapunzel,” we again revisit the question of whether the former first lady was trafficked to America by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell
In August 2020, The Steeple Times asked: “Was Melania Trump trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein” and now with revelations yesterday in Business Insider that the former first lady was nicknamed “Rapunzel” by the American secret services we again revisit the story of the connections between these equally strange characters.
“Given the disgraced financier’s planes frequently jetted back and forth to Eastern Europe, stranger things indeed have happened [than that it was Jeffrey Epstein whom first brought the now former first lady into America]. Melania Trump could have flown on the infamous ‘Lolita Express’ and she could [even have been] one of mucky Maxwell’s recruits.”
Though photographed repeatedly with the deviant duo over the years, the Trumps – whom first met according to Wikipedia in September 1998 – have repeatedly rubbished Epstein’s claim and attempted to distance themselves from the croaked paedophile.
Responding of Epstein’s wild allegation, another man who claims to have introduced Melania Knauss – subsequently “nicknamed ‘Rapunzel’ by the secret service because she rarely left ‘her tower, aka the White House residence’” – to Donald Trump, Italian nightclub Paolo Zampolli, simply responded “NO WAY. Fake news. B.S.”
Pictured top: A mock version of Melania Trump in fancy dress (left) and a real photo of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in fancy dress at Windsor Castle in 2006. Epstein dressed in a Navy SEAL uniform for the occasion – Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday party – and included both legitimate service ribbons and medals and fictitious ones in spite of the fact he’d never been a Navy SEAL.
Donald Trump – whom “wished” his one-time chum Ghislaine Maxwell “well” in July 2020 – and his wife Melania Trump have appeared in many pictures with the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell. According to ‘Insider’ in July 2019: “After Trump was elected president, Epstein started claiming that he was the one who introduced Trump to then-Slovenian model Melania Knauss.”In October 2000, the Duke of York was pictured at a nightclub alongside Ghislaine Maxwell and Heidi Klum. The theme of the bash was ‘pimps and hookers’ and for the occasion the ‘Bouncing Czech’s’ deviant daughter dressed in “a bleach blonde wig, midriff bearing top and gold pants” whilst the model wore “a black wig, red lipstick, black latex bodice and black skirt.”Melania Trump’s outfits, due to her position on the international stage, have regularly been dissected by the media. Her “fashion fails” – unlike those of Ghislaine Maxwell – however, have not to our knowledge included dressing up as a hooker.
In further evidence of the bizarre and frankly weird activities supposedly ‘enjoyed’ by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell this morning, crusading author Kirby Sommers tweeted: “What I will say now that I keep silent about because I was asked to is there exists a photo showing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell at Bohemian Grove. The elite meet there once every year to worship a 30-40 foot owl god they call ‘Molech.’”
In another recent tweet, Sommers shared an image of Donald Trump with Robert Maxwell and asked an important question. Her missive read: “Robert Maxwell was one of Donald Trump’s first forays into Russia. Did Maxwell launder money for Trump?”
In claiming “Jeremy [Corbyn] is always right” the ultimate dumbo Diane Abbott MP yet again shows herself as an utter berk
This morning on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, she-who-wears-two-left-shoes Diane Abbott MP ludicrously suggested “Jeremy [Corbyn] is always right” and claimed his replacement as leader of the Labour party, Sir Keir Starmer MP, talks “nonsense” and is “quite strange.”
In the wake of Andy McDonald MP quitting Sir Keir’s front bench, the former shagging partner of Jeremy Corbyn ridiculously rambled on about the minimum wage and ranted:
“Andy McDonald is a very nice man… He is personally very committed to fairness and justice.”
“I argue that there is no point clapping… You can’t live on claps… It’s no good clapping these people and then not being prepared to give them a decent minimum wage.”
“On the question of Keir Starmer, I think we have to look at some of his advisors. It now seems that Peter Mandelson is a top advisor to Keir Starmer.”
“We only have to look at Peter Mandelson’s life and times to understand where he stands in relation to the wealthy and the powerful.”
“I think Keir Starmer’s problems are his advisors and he needs to be listening to his own party and grass roots party members more.”
“Keir Starmer’s people are spinning it, but in 2017, people forget you know, Jeremy got more votes than any other Labour leader and, you know, if he hadn’t had most of the PLP attacking him night and day, he might possibly have won in 2017.”
Curiously, during the interview, the “intellectual giant” Diane Abbott got lucky and managed to swerve such issues as that of her own son’s criminality and her remarkable inability to add up. Whatever next for her? An appearance on Countdown? Anne Robinson would quake in her boots faced with this brainbox. Not.
Shame on her – She-who-cannot-use-a-calculator Diane Abbott MP is happy to be photographed with convicted racists such as Margaret Burke, a Labour councillor who disgustingly dressed up in a Nazi uniform and recruited youths to daub buildings with swastikas.Aside from being utterly inept with numbers, Abbott is someone who cannot intelligently engage in any kind of debate without resorting to blaming white people for whatever she believes to be wrong with any situation.
Illogical messages from Diane Abbott MP
Responding to be accused of not being able to add up:
“I do know my figures.”
“Of course, I think things through.”
“I’m here, of course I’m here. I’m doing a media interview, I’m going on to do another media interview. There’s no truth that I’m not in the media talking about what happened.”
“I think I’m Shadow Home Secretary.”
Diane Abbott on the cost of recruiting 10,000 police officers:
“If we recruit 10,000 police officers, men and women, over a four year period, we believe it will be about £300,000… Sorry, I mean, they will cost, it will cost, erm, about £80 million.”
“We will be paying them the average, it’s been thought through. Of course it’s been thought through.”
“What we said is, of course, we’ll find the money to recruit the 10,000 police people by cutting the, cutting the money… I think that would give us 170, erm, sorry… We would find the money by restoring levels of capital gains tax.”
On racism:
“The British invented racism.”
“White people love playing divide and rule. We should not play their game… I don’t think saying that is racist… It was part of a sequenced debate that I said that.”
“We need unity between black, Asian, minority ethnic and Muslim people – we need the maximum public show of unity. Because time after time, in the past 32 years, I’ve seen efforts of people to organise disrupted by white people.”
On dogs:
“I was a postman one Christmas and I developed a morbid fear of dogs.”
On her own marriage:
“I wanted my marriage to work, but it didn’t.”
On “outsiders” and “insiders”:
“Outsiders often have an insight than an insider doesn’t quite have.”
On being an MP:
“Being an MP is a good job, the sort of job all working-class parents want for their children – clean, indoors and no heavy lifting. What could be nicer?”
“I want power. I suppose that’s the story of my life – seeking power.”
“I’m in politics to be a voice for people who don’t have a voice.”
On the Kurdistan Workers’ Party:
“There is no difference between the PKK and ISIS.”
On the vile piece of toerag that is Naomi Campbell:
“I am a fangirl of Naomi Campbell.”
On why she wanted to be Labour’s candidate to be Mayor of London:
“One of my advantages, if I was Labour’s candidate, is that loads of people know me. I’m not just talking about politics – they’ve seen me on Come Dine With Me, they’ve seen me on Pointless.”
“I am not associated with the past.”
On women in Northern Ireland:
“Women in Northern Ireland are second class citizens.”
Diane Abbott on supporting the IRA:
“Defeat for the British state would be a great liberation. A defeat in Northern Ireland would be a defeat indeed.”
On supposedly changing her views on supporting the IRA:
“It was 34 years ago, I had a rather splendid afro at the time. I don’t have the same hairstyle, I don’t’ have the same views. It was 34 years on. The hairstyle is gone, some of the views are gone.”
On supposedly changing her views about MI5:
“At that time, I and a lot of people felt MI5 needed reforming. It has since been reformed and, of course, I would not call for its abolition now. That MI5 has gone. It’s been reformed, it’s a different MI5 and that’s why so many of us are able to support it now.”
Diane Abbott on Mao Zedong:
“I suppose some people will judge that on balance Mao did more good than harm… He led his country from feudalism, he helped to defeat the Japanese and he left his country on the verge of the great economic success they are having now. I was just putting the case for Mao.”
Insulting white mothers:
“West Indian mums will go to the wall for their children.”
On being a mother:
“I put being a mother ahead of being a politician.”
On abortion:
“Abortion is an issue of conscience for the Labour party.”
“I believe every abortion is a tragedy.”
Diane Abbott on sex:
“Of course, sex is great. We don’t have to pretend otherwise.”
On masculinity:
“There is a crisis of masculinity in Britain because of the pressures rapid economic and social change have placed on masculine identity. A generation of men are in transit and unclear of their social role. They are also under pressure to live up to pornified ideals.”
Diane Abbott on her decision to send her criminal son to a private school:
“[It was] indefensible and intellectually incoherent.”
“I’m not the only Labour MP who sent their child to public school, but I’m the only one who’s questioned about it.”
On parenting:
“When fast food is not a treat but a dietary staple, the children surf the Internet all day in dark corners of the room and are bombarded with the latest gadgets. Things replace parental standards.”
“Tackling obesity is key… Families are struggling against a tide of junk information on junk food.”
Diane Abbott on being demoted to the backbenches:
“I was a backbencher for a few years and there is an awful lot to do on the backbenches.”
On her political strategy:
“[I am going to stop Labour going into a] dead end.”
“In politics, the people I most despise are those who have no values.”
On defending the indefensible:
“You can’t defend the indefensible. Anything you say sounds self-serving and hypocritical.”
Diane Abbott on her many mistakes:
“You learn from your mistakes.”
On her future plans:
“I want to write a best-selling book.”
On being intensely disliked:
“[I am the] most abused of any Labour MP ever.”
And a final word from Diane Abbott:
“This is going round in circles… I’ve got nothing more to say, I’ve got nothing more to say.”
As painfully pushy PM’s wife Carrie Johnson comes under fire again, we examine the background of another of her ‘court’ members, SpAd Josh Grimstone
‘The Court of Queen Carrie’ dominates Britain in 2021 without a doubt. When pushy ‘Princess Nut Nut’ isn’t rifling through her hubby’s phone or choosing wacky, overpriced wallpaper, she’s said to be sparking diplomatic incidents with Japan.
Backing up this unbridled wine chucking busybody – whom previously worked for the mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s charity of choice, Oceana – is a team of ‘besties’ that includes not only the “drowning in honey, stingless” Henry Newman – the alleged “chatty rat” featured on these pages previously – but also a “photogenic, waspish protégé of Carrie Symonds” named Josh Grimstone.
Part of the Prime Minister’s latest baby mama’s “in-crowd of top-notch aides,” according to the Evening Standard’s Anne McElvoy, Tiffin School, Kingston-upon-Thames and University of Manchester educated Grimstone – described by the Daily Mail now as “a special advisor to Michael Gove” – is such a “close friend” to the woman formerly known as Carrie Symonds that he was one of just a few guests at her wedding in May.
Recruited first by DEFRA as a SpAd in July 2018, according to Guido Fawkes, “Tory hunk” Grimstone previously worked for the Vote Leave campaign. He is now “beefing up [recently separated from his wife] Gove’s media presence” and for five years prior was head of broadcast for Conservative Campaign Headquarters.
Grimstone used to have an Instagram account where he displayed topless shots of himself, but that has now somewhat bizarrely disappeared. Likely taken down at the behest of ‘Controlling Carrie,’ this 28-year-old is currently paid between £80,000 and £84,999 for his troubles, the Cabinet Office recently shared. Nice work if you can get it!
Elsewhere, Grimstone can be found sharing ‘Boris’ Puppet Mistresses’ tweets with his 1,470 followers on Twitter. What a truly busy bee.
In December 2019, Carrie Symonds shared a photo of Josh Grimstone (right) with Henry Newman, political press advisor to the Conservative Party Sophia True and an unnamed other man. She described them as “four of my favourite people.”In November 2018, Grimstone was referenced in an article by ‘Guido Fawkes’ that was titled: “Totty watch: DEFRA beef edition… DEFRA beefs up media spin” in which four shirtless pictures of him were shown.
Matthew Steeples demands to know why Boris Johnson was able to marry his puppet mistress in a Catholic cathedral given he’s already had two wives prior and highlights the wine chucking wife’s deviancy also
Ahead of lauding it over world leaders and their spouses at the forthcoming 47th G7 summit at the shameful disgrace that is the tree killing Carbis Bay Hotel next week, the wicked wench formerly known as Carrie Symonds pulled off a bit of ‘distraction technique’ excellence by marrying the man she’d previously chucked a lot of red wine at, her pointless puppet Boris Johnson, last weekend.
Decidedly deviant and also romantically involved with supporters of the far-right Traditional Britain Group – whom have expressed a desire to hang Baroness Lawrence, the mother of the victim of a racist murder, from a tree – prior to hooking up with money taker Jennifer Arcuri’s ex-bonker, the present (for how long, God only knows) Mrs Johnson’s union in a Catholic cathedral has also quite rightly attracted widespread criticism.
At a time when the general public haven’t been able to celebrate nuptials with many guests, how was it that Boris Johnson and his now wife were able to party with extras and how also could a man with two previous unions be able to pass them off as “invalid” and thus effectively heartlessly deny the existence of the children of those marriage in addition?
Whilst both Johnson – who was most definitely a confirmed member of the Church of England whilst at Eton, yet married in a Catholic ceremony last weekend – and his new wife were again laughably lauded by Daniel Johnson in Unherd on Tuesday as “deserving our congratulations, not our brickbats,” the majority of the public are left asking: “How can this sleazy oik and his 3rd concubine be allowed to so shamelessly profiteer whilst getting away with wrecking everybody else’s lives also?”
‘The Convenient Catholic Couple’ are a disgrace to our nation and after embarrassing us all before those attending the G7 summit next week, it’s surely time they finally did the decent thing: Disappear to Siberia and take their shitty Lulu Lytle decorations with them.
The Convenient Catholic Couple – Boris Johnson and his new merry wife, Carrie, are a pair of dangerous deviants. When they’re not wasting money on dodgy décor from Lulu Lytle, they’re bingeing on frightfully expensive food from ‘Lady Doors To Manual’ Carole Bamford’s ritzy Daylesford. The new Mr & Mrs Johnson’s wedding day photo showed a woman who looked like she was about to become a sacrifice. Meanwhile, the clown Prime Minister sported a tie that he’d previously worn whilst in the company of his ex-wife and another of his luscious lovers, Jennifer Arcuri, also. One has to wonder how Boris Johnson’s former shagging partner Jennifer Arcuri feels about his new union. On Twitter, many mocked the union of Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds for exactly what it was: A comedy of errors and a prime example of the use of the distraction technique at a time when once Great Britain is facing the impending potential horrors of the Indian and Nepalese variants of COVID-19.“Is this woman suitable to be Britain’s 1st lady?” is a question the public are quite rightly asking.
Nikolay Kalinin slams the slapdash attitude of the Conservative Party to the sex pestering of both men and women by ‘Randy Rob’ Roberts MP
Welsh Conservatives seem to be a completely different breed; not only is their leader secretly a robot – which can be clearly evidenced from the way he speaks – but their MPs seem to have a problem with texting young women and asking them for sexual favours. First, we had Stephen Crabb, who somehow is still MP, and now we have Rob Roberts, MP for Delyn.
Having been exposed by BBC Wales almost a year ago for sending sexual texts to a young intern and asking if she wanted to “fool around with no strings attached,” Roberts is now on the path to being suspended from the House of Commons, meaning that another by-election could be on the horizon.
On a separate occasion, Roberts – who came out as gay in May last year – reportedly made a male Commons staffer uncomfortable and even made him change jobs after the MP asked him out and the youngster declined.
Roberts has since announced that he is intending to appeal against the decision to suspend him, although his efforts are expected to fail. If the Committee on Standards votes to suspend Roberts for more than 10 working days, this could lead to a recall petition, which possibly would result in a by-election being triggered if more than 10% of constituents sign the petition.
May I just remind you that a few weeks ago, a Conservative party spokesperson revealed that the inquiry into the MP’s conduct had concluded that “Mr Roberts has apologised for his behaviour and was instructed to undertake safeguarding and social media protection training.”
I have several questions: Why was ‘Randy Rob’ unable to avoid accountability for almost a year, and why was his punishment a simple slap on the wrist? Doesn’t this treatment greatly contrast with the principle of accountability that’s so essential to British politics, and why hasn’t Stephen Crabb received the same punishment?
This case suggests that nothing much has changed in regards to the acceptance of the behaviour of MPs, even after people like Stephen Crabb, Mike Hill and Brooks Newmark got exposed for sending sexually suggestive texts had their political careers ended. These people all seem to have ‘David Mellor Syndrome,’ and that is worrying, because those are the people whom we elect to represent us and our interests, not so that they could use their position to get in bed with people more easily.
Randy Rob Deserves The Rod – Nikolay Kalinin believes the likes of Rob Roberts MP have ‘David Mellor Syndrome’ … Now, there’s a political dinosaur most would prefer erased from the past, present and future.Randy Rob Deserves The Rod – The shameless Conservative Party seems to have learnt nothing from the case of the jailing of former MP Charlie Elphicke. After the groping, bottom slapper known as the ‘Naughty Tory’ was convicted as a sex offender and deservedly sent down for two years, the party replaced him with his very own wife – after she took a £25,000 bung for an interview in ‘The Sun’ about the situation – and as of yet has done nothing about her and her colleagues using parliamentary stationery to inappropriately bombard the judiciary as part of their attempt to get him a lesser sentence.
Randy Rob Deserves The Rod – Rob Roberts made his debut in the House of Commons relatively recently in February 2020. It is a shame he hasn’t been able to behave himself at all appropriately during the time since.
