In the wake of the ‘South Park’ fiasco and her gaining worse ratings than Prince Andrew, Matthew Steeples asks if the chance of a career in politics for the Duchess of Sussex has been scuppered; 81% of respondents to a poll believe she’d never get selected

In March 2021, Gutsy Women author Hillary Clinton laughably whined to The Washington Post about how she thought that the British media’s treatment of the Duchess of Sussex was “outrageous” and “heartbreaking” in the wake of her and her husband’s disgraceful decision to spill their guts to Oprah Winfrey.

 

Now, in the wake of the latest “brutal mockery” of the woman formerly known as Meghan Markle and her drip of a husband on South Park having supposedly left the pair “annoyed, upset and overwhelmed,” market research film Redfield & Wilton for Newsweek have found that the approval rating for the Duchess of Sussex to be -17 whilst even Prince Andrew is only at -2.

 

Previously lauded as supported by the “liberal elite” linked to Joe Biden and often the topic of speculation that she “may one day consider launching a campaign to enter the race to become US President,” the former Suits actress has been “losing support” from even her former closest allies.

 

Missing in action mostly since December, Sky News last week quoted “former friend public relations expert” Nick Ede as stating:

 

“[In Hollywood the royals that quit are] quite far down really in that pecking order. Hollywood royalty isn’t somebody with a title. It’s J.Lo, it’s Sharon Stone, it’s Beyonce, it’s the Kardashians. That’s their royalty. Also the Obamas or the Clintons. If you’ve been in office, apart from Trump, then you’re seen as being a top dog. I think they have underestimated that in many ways.”

 

“I think they came in and thought that the number one people on the block and they’re not really.”

 

“They’re kind of quite far down really in that pecking order. And I think that’s been an issue with them, in that sense of stepping down.”

 

Going further and speaking to Express.co.uk in January, Nile Gardiner, a “Washington-based foreign policy expert,” accused the duchess of “endlessly whining.” He added:

 

“The recent Netflix documentary series received quite a lot of criticism in the US media, not just from the conservatives, but also among liberals as well, who felt this was an endlessly-whining exercise.”

 

“Meghan is now losing support on the left as well and that is dangerous for her because that is her key support base.”

 

“The Netflix documentary series was a big mistake from Meghan so she has lost some ground with the left in the US who have grown tired of her endless celebrity whining.”

 

“Meghan remains someone who has deep-seated political ambitions and retains some strong ties to Democratic Party elites but clearly she has vast ambitions with what she wants to achieve in the US.”

 

“It is striking Meghan has had very little support from the woke liberal elites who haven’t come out in force to defend her. The scale of Meghan’s vanity and arrogance has even put off some of her natural allies on the American left.”

 

“This has backfired spectacularly on Meghan and Harry and this is not the hit they were hoping it would be. It has alienated the British people but it has also failed to garner any significant support in America.”

What’s the truth about the stories that abound about the Duchess of Sussex?

• In November 2021, the duchess was forced to apologise to the Appeal Court in London for making a misleading statement in her privacy case against The Mail on Sunday’s publishers.
• Her very own father, Thomas, has called out her many untruths about him and others again, again and again.
• Of her claiming having got married the day before she actually did, Mr Markle stated: “Lying about the archbishop? How can you say: ‘We’ve been married three days before we got married’? Her lies are so obvious, I don’t know why she says them.”
• Her very own half-sister, Samantha Markle, who is currently bringing a defamation case against her, has called her out as a liar on multiple occasions also. It has been proven that the duchess’s claim that she hasn’t seen her sibling in over 20 years was untrue given a photo of the pair together 14 years ago proves quite to the contrary.
• Her very own half-brother, Thomas Jr., said of her: “I told Prince Harry, I think she’s going to ruin your life. She’s very shallow… She’s a phony, a bully, a jaded, shallow, conceited woman.”
• The wife of Prince Harry has been called out on multiple occasions for spinning stories against other members of the royal family, most especially the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
• Staff who’ve worked for her have complained that she is a bully and investigations into this remain ongoing.
• The Duchess of Sussex is a known manipulator of the press and paparazzis and it has been claimed that she’ll “twist the truth” to get any headline she wants.
• Questions remain as to how many times she’s actually been married in total. Some say twice, some say thrice.
• What’s the truth about Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland? Is this clearly equally manipulative woman an honest and decent citizen or is she a jailbird who has spent time in the clink?
• Did the ‘Montecito Meddler’ meet Prince Andrew or Prince Harry first? Rumours abound that she could have spent time and holidayed with the former as long ago as 2001 and that her claim to have no prior knowledge of the royal family until 2016 is just utter baloney.

As ludicrous, laughable Lee Anderson MP becomes vice chairman of the Conservative Party and announces support for the death penalty, we ask: “Has Rishi Sunak well and truly lost the plot?”

“Nobody has ever committed a crime after being executed. You know that, don’t you? 100% success rate” remarked the bombastic, birdbrained bore Lee Anderson MP in a recent interview with The Spectator’s James Heale prior to his elevation to deputy chairman of the Conservative Party this week.

 

Echoing the words of fellow one-time Tory twerp Ann Widdecombe – who said in February 2016: “To state that it can never be justified is wrong” in response to Pope Francis seeking a worldwide ban of this barbaric practice – ‘30p Lee’ went further and justifying announcing that convicted killers should be “gone [killed], same week” by claiming “I don’t want to pay for them.”

 

Predictably, Anderson has gained supporters, amongst them the former editor of The Sun, Kelvin MacKenzie. On Twitter, in a 0:54-minute video rant, the journalist enthused: “Absolute masterstroke to make [him] the deputy chairman of the party. Listen to his views. One. Bring back the death penalty. I’m very much in favour of that… Nuisance tenants, that they get kicked out and have to go and live in tents and pick potatoes. Fine, these are great policies. Most ordinary people will agree with them.”

 

Intolerant and best known for suggesting a family of five could be fed on just £50 per week, that Rishi Sunak has decided to elevate this 56-year-old ‘Red Wall’ Labour turncoat is indicative of a Prime Minister who knows his time is up. Desperate clearly, just like John Major back in the mid-1990s, to keep the rotten ragbag that is the divided ship-of-fools that are the Tories together, this laughable but ludicrous appointment represents nothing but Sunak throwing a bone to the most delusional MPs keeping him just about afloat.

 

With YouGov currently polling Labour at 48% against the Conservatives at just 24% (poll taken 31^st January to 1^st February 2023), the appointment of a man described by even the Daily Mail as “a pugnacious bruiser” is a move that has definitely already backfired. It is one also that sadly could give the equally lacklustre and totally ineffective leader of the opposition Sir Keir Starmer the keys to Downing Street. God help us all.

As ‘Ghislaine: Partner in Crime’ premieres tomorrow on ITVX, Matthew Steeples asks: “What comes next in the sordid saga of the story of Ghislaine Maxwell and her creepy cronies?”

First aired in the United States in April 2022, tomorrow ITVX premieres Ghislaine: Partner in Crime, a 3-hour, 20 minute long series directed and produced by Ben Reid to audiences in the United Kingdom. Reid’s previous works have included Adolf and Eva, Benefits Street and Oscar and BAFTA nominated Innocence.

 

“Bombshell admissions” with juror 50 “in his only in-depth interview” are what the trailer for this 4-part documentary focuses on and in that ‘Scotty David’ (as he was publicly named) stated:

 

“I felt that it was very important that I shared my sexual abuse story. I felt that that helped other people come to the conclusion that just because some memories are fuzzy, it doesn’t mean that they’re not telling the truth. After I spoke my story, the room was dead silent.”

 

Going further, social butterfly R. Couri Hay is heard to say: “Ghislaine had it all,” but neglected to add the truth of the matter of what came next for the pension pot plunderer’s pugnacious daughter. Here now is a woman who has actually got nothing, nada, nowt. Maxwell’s husband has deserted her, she has been unable (or unwilling) to pay her lawyers and she’s left eating Tofurky roasts in the clink in Tallahassee; no more Krug on tap for this noxious nonce and no more ‘Randy Andy’ on speed-dial.

 

In spite of seemingly having absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain by naming the names of those famous folk she was sex trafficking her victims to (and you can’t, after all, traffic people to nobody), Miss Maxwell remains silent on actually naming those names. In doing so, this shameless sap just piles more misery on the many, many victims of her and the conveniently croaked Jeffrey Epstein.

 

Instead, clearly illustrating her arrogance and audacity, Maxwell and her siblings have yet again turned to longstanding PR peddling chums such as Daphne Barak – an associate of the ever so conveniently also linked to this case likes of the Clintons and the Trumps. In spite of being in the pokey, this wicked wench has managed to even get herself on the Rupert Murdoch owned TalkTV, even if she had to go a bit ‘lowbrow’ and allow the disgraced muckraker Jeremy Kyle and not a hard hitting ‘highbrow’ to conduct said interview.

 

Features in the Daily Mail and The Sun, again courtesy of Barak, seem to be a staple and though most would argue that it is the victims that deserve a voice, that Maxwell is still enabled to have her ‘voice’ is something that should and does outrage the world only further.  Convicted and incarcerated sex offenders do not, after all, deserve to be anything other than subjected to punishment and penury.

In October 2022 and then again in January 2023, we asked a number of questions of Daphne Barak after she published prison ‘interviews’ with her chum Ghislaine Maxwell. She failed to answer them then, so we again ask them now:

 

• Why did the American authorities allow a prisoner to give such interviews so soon after her conviction?

• What is the agenda of Daphne Barak and what involvement did Kevin Maxwell and his siblings have in setting up these interviews?

Matthew Steeples interviewed by journalist Addy Adds about Ghislaine Maxwell, ‘Megxit’ and the decline of the mainstream media

In a wide-ranging 53:57-minute interview last week, the “always on the move” author of How To Cover The Ghislaine Maxwell Trial Addy Adds asked Matthew Steeples about not only the mucky madam, but also the British media and other issues including the royal family.

 

Focused on the “rabbit hole that keeps on giving” that is the saga of the Epstein-Maxwell saga, Steeples suggested Jeremy Kyle’s recent interview with her “laughable” and called out Piers Morgan’s involvement with the channel that aired it, TalkTV.

 

Aside from exploring “the poisoned chalice from hell” Maxwell’s new shared with Sam Bankman-Fried legal representative Mark S. Cohen and her new “fame seeker-not-a-proper-lawyer” Arthur L. Aidala, the discussion covered the cancellation of the likes of Jeremy Clarkson as a “real journalist” and the private funding of this very publication, The Steeple Times, also.

 

Turning to the international stage, Steeples referenced “Sleepy Joe [Biden]” as “ancient” and Sir Keir Starmer as “the Prince Harry of politics.” He added that “King Charles has gone up in the public estimation” and saluted Princess Anne as well.

 

“Meghan Markle has been nothing but trouble for anyone that she has ever encountered… If you had Meghan in your family, you’d say: ‘You’ve got a problem like Meghan’” concluded Steeples before saluting her “sensible sister” Samantha in a segment about ‘Megxit.’

It’s becoming clearer and clearer that something is very much amiss at the House of Sussex and that the ‘Missing Montecito Meddler’ formerly known as Meghan Markle is most definitely planning her next move. Will that move involve her husband or will she go solo and perhaps seek out a career in politics?

 

Not seen together in public since they disgracefully washed as much dirty laundry on Netflix late last year, that the Duchess of Sussex has been completely absent when her hapless hubby was flogging Spare in January is one thing; that she didn’t turn up at a star-studded Beverly Hills bash that became a 69^th birthday bonanza for her billionaire chum Oprah Winfrey is quite another.

 

Attended by just the kind of people the deviant duchess would have previously killed to live-it-up with – amongst them including not only chirpy chums such as Gayle King but also people you’d think she be desperate to be ‘papped’ with such as Cindy Crawford, Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez and Sharon Stone – here was a party you’d have thought she’d simply never have missed out on.

 

Of this, the Irish Mirror noted: “Meghan was nowhere to be seen… Something that has surprised many people due to that fact that Oprah [whom also attended her 2018 Windsor Castle wedding to Prince Harry] was the journalist they chose to sit down with for their explosive TV interview in 2021.” Going further, the paper’s assistant showbiz editor Zoe Delaney observed her thoughts about the “conspicuous absence” and suggested it “could signify something bigger.”

 

Elsewhere, aside from rumours abounding about “will they or won’t they” turn up to the May coronation of Prince Harry’s papa King Charles III, here is a couple facing trouble and strife on a variety of other fronts also.

 

Called out continually now as disgraceful personal profiteers, the Sussexes relationship with their once kowtowing personal PR peddler Omid Scobie seems to have gone south whilst even one London based ‘friend’ of the prince this morning exclusively told The Steeple Times: “He doesn’t even bother to call or see his ‘real’ British mates anymore. She’s been nothing but a nightmare and I feel sorry that he sacrificed his relationship with his brother for someone as transparently awful as her.”

 

Equally, the pugnacious pair were slammed over the weekend after it was revealed that their Archewell Foundation has given just 23% or £2.4 million ($3 million, €2.7 million or درهم11 million) of the £10.6 million ($13 million, €11.8 million or درهم47.7 million) it has raised since it was founded in 2020 towards actual charitable activities. Typically, a charitable operation that doesn’t give away at least 50% of what it takes in donations each year to causes is quite rightly condemned as pointless and pathetic.

 

With American and European titles claiming the new king may have to help in the efforts to pay off the duchess if there is to be a divorce, one is left thinking that “charity will soon be again beginning at home” for Prince Harry. Diddums for this decided drip, but what a disaster for all else in Britain if we get forced to take this rotten royal ratbag back.

Matthew Steeples slams the public purse paying out £165,000 to the reprehensible ratbag Cressida Dick and reminds that this despicable dame went to the same school and same Oxford college as the mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell

This morning, the MailOnline revealed that the tenacious piece of toerag that is Dame Cressida Dick DBE QPM tried to get a bung of £500,000 ($621,000, €569,000 or درهم2.3 million) before she left her job as Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis.

 

Though the hapless harpy did wangle a deal of a not too shabby-by-half £165,727.36 ($205,756.65, €188,595.25 or درهم755,641.52) eventually, that the public purse has paid out in such an outrageous manner to such an outrageously awful woman is indeed outrageously awful.

 

Born in 1960, just like her Oxford school and university mate Ghislaine Maxwell – both were taught by Dame Cressida’s father Marcus Dick, a senior tutor at Balliol College – the very much deservedly binned former Metropolitan Police chief was described by the paper’s Rory Tingle as having a tenure “as Britain’s top cop” that was “mired in controversy.”

 

Going further, Tingle referenced an “exclusive” in The Guardian that suggested “Dick felt ‘entitled’ to two years severance after she was pushed aside.” She was ‘entitled’ to a salary of £270,000 ($335,071, €307,138or درهم1.2 million) but took “only” £240,000 ($297,900, €273,065 or درهم1.1 million).

 

Tellingly and indicative of their failure yet to understand how much the public loathe them, The Guardian’s Joe Goodman concluded: “The force declined to comment on the details of Dick’s pay.”

The Met’s Catalogue of Failures – Shame on Them And Shame On Despicable Dame Cressida Dick

There is unsurprisingly currently zero public confidence in the frankly incompetent Metropolitan Police and of it one Twitter user, June Sim, rightly stated in January 2022: “The Met has always been a byword amongst regional forces. We used to joke if you were rejected, they’ll take anybody. Not helped by the reputation confirmed by the Daniel Morgan report. Reputation already tarnished.”

 

Amongst the many failings of what ought to be the nation’s premier police force – aside from multiple allegations of racism and racial bias against its officers, its failure to deal with spiralling teenage murders and the many allegations of corruption and incompetence levelled at it – are:

 

• 1987 – Botched investigation into the murder of Daniel Morgan.
• 1993 – Botched investigation into the murder of Stephen Lawrence.
• 1994 – Botched investigation into allegations that Ghislaine Maxwell operated a brothel in South Kensington.
• 2009 – Unlawful killing of Ian Tomlinson during his arrest by Met Police officers.
• 2005 – Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes by Met Police officers on the orders of Cressida Dick.
• 2013 – Strip searching of Dr Koshka Duff during her arrest for intervening during a Met Police stop-and-search of a black teenager.
• 2014 – Bungled investigation into allegations of historic child abuse made by Carl Beech.
• 2014 to 2015 – Failure to stop Stephen Port committing subsequent serial killings in spite of his already being linked to the death of a man outside his home.
• 2019 – Farcical mismanagement of policing of Extinction Rebellion protests leading to a bill of £37 million in policing costs.
• 2020 – Misconduct of Met Police officers during their investigation into the murders of Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman.
• 2020 – Found to be 2.17 times as likely to issue fines to black people relative to the rest of the population during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.
• 2021 – Misconduct of Met Police officers during their investigation into the disappearance of Richard Okorogheye.
• 2021 – Met Police officer Ben Hannam found to be a member of a banned terrorist group.
• 2021 – Shocking conduct of Met Police officers after the murder of Sarah Everard by one of their own colleagues.
• 2022 – Apparent collaboration with Boris Johnson and his government to delay report into ‘Partygate.’
• 2022 – Decision of Met Police to not bother continuing their investigation into the London activities of the croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
• 2023 – Metropolitan officer David Carrick exposed as one of Britain’s most prolific rapists after admitting 49 charges against a dozen women, including 24 counts of rape and 85 acts of serious offending. He will be sentenced today, but the public has yet to be told what Dame Cressida has to say about this. Shame on her.

Matthew Steeples asks: “How much was PR peddler Daphne Barak paid for her TalkTV Jeremy Kyle interview with noxious nonce Ghislaine Maxwell?”

The life-wrecking piece of pond scum that is Jeremy Kyle was very keen to point out that Ghislaine Maxwell was “not paid a damned penny for this interview and nor would we [pay her]” on his TalkTV show last night. He did not, however, remark on whether the PR peddler who calls herself a ‘journalist’ Daphne Barak was paid for her role in bringing it about, but given he got given a 58:55-minute slot of airtime to do so, he jolly well ought to have.

 

Baseless blabber Barak – who was very tellingly filmed in one segment sat in a room with surprise, surprise Kevin Maxwell – has been a friend and associate of the convicted sex fiend for many years and frankly her line of ‘questioning’ reflected that. Here was not an ‘investigative journalist’ asking tough questions of a delusional deviant, but here instead was simply yet another example of a delusional deviant getting things her own way and likely because her interviewer is a hired gun rather than a free-thinking individual.

 

Unsurprisingly condemned on Twitter as “grotesque” and being “like allowing Fred West to phone into a DIY programme,” that Kyle, Barak and co. allowed mucky madam Maxwell to “self-aggrandise” and “manipulate” was frankly a disgrace. This, after all, is a wicked wastrel woman who is in the clink for 20 years and this is a woman who fails to show even a note of contrition or remorse. Why should this evil jailbird be given free rein to speak and why not instead give her victims a voice instead?

 

Jeremy Kyle should be ashamed of himself for being led up the garden path, but of course he won’t be. Tonight, this self-serving thrower together of “chaotic people in chaotic and confrontational scenes” will have Jeffrey Epstein’s onetime lawyer and chum Alan Dershowitz on for round two of his attempt to rewrite history. Who’ll be next? Will Kyle be bringing on ‘Randy Andy’ for a bit of non-sweaty, Pizza Express action?

Questions for Daphne Barak

In October 2022, we asked a number of questions of Daphne Barak after she published prison ‘interviews’ with her chum Ghislaine Maxwell. She failed to answer them then, so we again ask them now:

 

• Why did the American authorities allow a prisoner to give such interviews so soon after her conviction?
• Did the authorities not consider the impact such interviews would have on the victims of this convicted sex trafficking nonce and grubby groping abuser?
• What is the agenda of Daphne Barak and what involvement did Kevin Maxwell and his siblings have in setting up these interviews?
• Did PR peddlers for the mucky madam – such as Brian Basham, Jay Beecher and Ross Gow – have any involvement in the bringing about of these interviews?
• Why did this so-called ‘journalist’ not ask anything about what this mucky madam feels about the impact of her actions on her many victims?
• Why did this so-called ‘journalist’ not ask anything about this mucky madam’s secret marriage to Scott Borgerson in 2015?
• Why did this so-called ‘journalist’ not ask why Ghislaine Maxwell – someone she’s associated with for at least 30 years – hasn’t paid off her debts to her lawyers?

 

As former First Sea Lord Admiral Lord West describes Prince Harry as “a stupid boy,” Matthew Steeples suggests the renegade royal’s ‘Spare’ as fit only for use as a “firelighter” given he’s used it as such against his own family in an already viral video interview released yesterday

This morning, the Daily Mail reported that an unnamed British military commander slammed Prince Harry as having “rendered himself as a tool for the Tehran regime” after Iran defended hanging a British-Iranian citizen. They argued that Britain was “in no position to preach on human rights” given the renegade royal’s claims about having killed twenty-five members of the Taliban.

 

Going further the former First Sea Lord Admiral Lord West described the second son of King Charles III as “a stupid boy” whilst Colonel Richard Kemp, a former UK military commander in Afghanistan, raged: “Harry should take full responsibility for giving ammunition to the murderous Iranian regime’s propaganda machine. While all decent people will reject Iran’s lies, many of their supporters will be strengthened by the ayatollahs’ exploitation of the duke’s ill-judged comments.”

 

Adding fuel to the fire already burning caused by the tittle-tattling Spare ‘author,’ former Conservative leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith demanded the Duke of Sussex “reflect and not do something similar again.” Meanwhile elsewhere, a 26:08-minute video interview by Shaun Attwoood with Matthew Steeples about the book and its contents went viral on YouTube after it was uploaded yesterday.

 

In it, Steeples told Attwood:

 

“It’s a book. You don’t want to mistreat a book, but most people would use [Spare] as a firelighter, wouldn’t they? I think he’s used it as a firelighter against his own family and I think most people who buy it are buying it as a laugh.”

 

“No one really wants this book. People are bored… They don’t want to read this book. They want to know about their heating bill. They don’t give a damn about Prince Harry and his stupid wife. It’s an absolute joke.”

 

“It has come to a point where this little brat who is clearly on drugs – and I have it on great authority from somebody who was part of the Tom Bradby interview team – he was on drugs throughout that. That’s why they had to keep pausing the interview. He had to go to the bathroom.”

 

“He’s a messed-up person. He goes on about his drugs when he was 36. He was on drugs whilst he was doing his interview and why wasn’t he able to do the interview in [New York] with the audience presence? He couldn’t, because he’s such a mess. The guy is out of control. He’s an embarrassment to his family; it’s an embarrassment to everybody. He’s gone too far. He’s crossed the line. The world is bored of him.”

 

Amongst the 300 comments received from the 12,000 who watched in less than 24 hours subsequently, Daria F. Seeley observed: “People who enjoy this book don’t read real books” whilst Charlotte Muller added: “Harry’s wife brainwashes Harry and when the book comes out, she stays in the background so she’s not to blame.” Another, Siobhan Reidy, rightly concluded: “Thankfully he is the spare and not the heir.”

 

Further still, on the Shaun Attwood Channel, Sunday’s interview featuring Samantha Markle, Jennifer Hopkins, Shaun Attwood and Matthew Steeples has now been watched an astonishing 113,000 times whilst this morning The Guardian’s Sarah Shaffi confirmed that Spare has become the “fastest-selling non-fiction book since UK records began.”

 

Clearly, given the “controversial memoir,” as Shaffi lightly terms it, is being placed amongst works of fiction in some bookshops including Waterstone’s (see image top) and offered at a bargain basement half-price, there are many people who’ll be buying ‘Burn Bridges Harry’s’ book as a cheap alternative to firelighters this January.

In the wake of yet more murky money being disgracefully wasted on the murky matter of ‘missing’ Madeleine McCann, Matthew Steeples reminds that over £14 million has been spent over 16 years to find NOWT, NADA, NOTHING

Thousands of people go missing every year and thousands of them are never found. It is truly tragic and though the relatives and friends of such people I speak to remain, forever, completely understandably, heartbroken, they never give up. It is tragic and terrible and those such as Martin Allen’s brother, Kevin, and Ben Needham’s mother, Kerry, are to be saluted for continually keeping the stories of the missing alive.

 

As I have said again and again and will no doubt have to keep saying again and again however, there is one ‘missing person’ case that gets treated very differently to that of all others; that of Madeleine McCann – a child who ‘disappeared’ after her middle class doctor parents shockingly left her and her twin siblings completely unattended whilst they lived-it-up at a tapas bar in Praia da Luz, Portugal on 3^rd May 2007.

 

In the sixteen years since, Gerry and Kate McCann have garnered at least £14 million ($17 million, €15.9 million or درهم62.5 million) in public resources – which has mostly been spent by the Metropolitan Police – and sit on a fund of money donated by the kind-hearted public that still amounts to £970,767 ($1.2 million, €1.1 million or درهم4.3 million) in cash and assets. Latest accounts show just £3,498 ($4,254, €3,962 or درهم15,624) in income from sales of the bargain basement bag-of-bilge book Madeleine in the previous year. Talk about paltry, but equally, in the context of what has been achieved, talk about pathetic and a pointless waste of the public’s donations.

 

Now, with news this morning in the MailOnline this morning that Madeleine’s Fund has paid out £6,995 ($8,506, €7,922 or درهم31,242) in murky money towards legal costs relating to the McCanns failed libel action against the Portuguese detective Gonçalo Amaral, isn’t it jolly well time that this ridiculous charade seeking a child who’ll likely never be found was just finally brought to a close? This wasteful misallocation of resources must end and it must end now.

Missing Madeleine – Questions STILL without Answers in A Truly Murky Case

Many questions about what happened on the evening of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann remain. Some that have been highlighted by the press and discussed online include:

 

• Why did Kate McCann refuse to answer 48 questions put to her by the Portuguese police?

 

• Why were certain records of phone calls on the evening of the disappearance “whoosh-clunked” from the memories of the phones of Mr and Mrs McCann and the ‘Tapas 7’?

 

• Why were relevant mobile phone records never handed over to the authorities in spite of them potentially being useful to the search?

 

• Why did the couple not use the babysitting service on offer in the holiday resort on the evening of 3^rd May 2007 when they went out on the razzle dazzle with friends?

 

• Why was the door to the apartment – which opened directly onto a public highway – left unlocked with three children aged under three years old alone inside?

 

• Why did a British sniffer dog sense the smell of a corpse in a cupboard in the apartment from which Madeleine McCann disappeared?

 

• Why did a sniffer dog also supposedly sense the smell of a corpse in a vehicle hired by the couple a month after the disappearance of their daughter?

 

• Why did the McCanns repeatedly try to discredit the work of the sniffer dogs and their handlers?

 

• Why did Mr and Mrs McCann go jogging and play tennis in the days after their daughter’s disappearance?

 

• Was it acceptable for Mr and Mrs McCann’s mortgage to be paid by the fund established to search for their missing daughter?

 

• Why have the McCanns attempted to ‘gag’ anyone who disputes their version of events – most especially Gonçalo Amaral?

 

• Why given over £14 million has been spent on this search to date has nobody come forward with any sighting of ‘missing’ Madeleine McCann given the rewards on offer?

 

In washing his dirty linen in public and claiming his brother hit and injured him, supposed war hero Prince Harry shows himself as nothing but a dopey drip suggests Matthew Steeples

Prince Harry used to be considered a fun-loving sort; a party boy and a pranker, a boozer and a bit beyond bonkers. He loved nights at Boujis and was even known to go behind the bar at La Brasserie in South Kensington to knock up cocktails. Here was someone a bit pointless, but equally here was someone who eventually came to be actually liked after he spent time in the army and Africa.

 

Supposedly banned from drinking not only alcohol and tea, but also forced to give up shooting and to take up yoga in 2019 by his woke and wacky wife, this deservedly spare second son was previously a bit like a less obnoxious version of his rotten money grabbing uncle, Prince Andrew, but now he’s just turned into a brazen bore and a money grabber also.

 

This morning, with news that the Duke of Sussex’s already bargain basement book – for which he supposedly received an advance of a rumoured and frankly astounding £16.6 million ($20 million, €18.8 million or درهم73.5 million) – has used his book Spare to claim that he once took a beating from his very own brother. Cringeworthy and tacky or what?

 

According to The Guardian’s Martin Pengelly, in 2019, a “piping hot” Prince William, now Prince of Wales, “physically attacked” his brother and called the Duchess of Sussex “difficult… rude… [and] abrasive.” Frankly, the elder brother has subsequently been proven to be anything but wrong.

 

Continuing in his tittle-tattling, tacky tome, Prince Harry supposedly adds:

 

“[Prince William] called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

 

Left allegedly with “scrapes and bruises” on his back, the dopey drip did not immediately tell his meddling menace wife. Instead, he pathetically called his therapist and now he’s pathetically telling the world. Perhaps it is now time that this silly little example of a boy who likes to cry wolf was reminded that washing your family’s dirty linen in public leads to nothing but trouble.
