Born in Hampshire, England to a British mathematics teacher and a Jamaican psychotherapist, this author and journalist was raised in Canada and is a graduate of the University of Toronto. New York based Gladwell is famed for his international bestselling titles The Tipping Point, Blink and Outliers and has 287,000 followers on Twitter. He once remarked: “Good writing does not succeed or fail on the strength of its ability to persuade. It succeeds or fails on the strength of its ability to engage you, to make you think, to give you a glimpse into someone else’s head”.
