Essex Police – GUILTY As Charged In Jeremy Bamber Case
As Essex Police are found guilty of failing to refer a 2020 complaint by Jeremy Bamber, could his case be sent back to the Court of Appeal?

Essex Police are widely known for bungling investigations. Aside from very clearly bungling the investigation into the rape and murder of Stuart Lubbock at the home of the disgraced ‘entertainer’ Michael Barrymore, this 3,842-officer strong force has now been exposed for having mishandled complaints in the Jeremy Bamber White House Farm murder case.

With news that the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has found the force guilty of breaching their statutory duty by not referring 29 serious complaints to them about the case comes proof yet again of disgraceful incompetence at the very least and far worse potentially at the very worst.

Responding on Monday this week from His Majesty’s Prison Wakefield, 62-year-old Bamber told the Daily Gazette and Essex County Standard’s trainee reporter Daniel Rees:

“I think the report is strong enough to assist the Criminal Case Review Commission (CCRC) to get my case sent back to the Court of Appeal, I am hoping in the next six to eight weeks.”

“Essex Police has failed in its statutory duty in not investigating these complaints and not sending this matter to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.”

“These are serious complaints. I have sent this complaint to Essex Police, the Attorney General, the Home Office, the CPS but everyone has blanked me and has done nothing. I never expected the IOPC to come out so strongly and say Essex Police failed in their statutory duty.”

“They have dismissed me so many times. It has been 38 years but this is the endgame – I genuinely believe that.”

Going further, in comments shared in the Mirror this morning, Bamber added:

“I firmly expect that the freedom that was so unjustly taken from me will soon be restored.”

“After 36 years it can now be proven with absolute certainty I did not burn my dad with the rifle barrel or the rifle’s sound moderator, as my trial jury were misled into believing.”

Unsurprisingly asked for a response, “Essex Police declined to comment on the matter.” Shame on them for yet again trying to sweep this serious matter under the carpet. May Jeremy Bamber – a man who has never waivered in stating his claim that he is innocent of the 1985 slayings of his adoptive parents, his adoptive sister and her two sons at their familial home at White House Farm in Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Essex – now finally get the review of his case that he truly deserves.

- Why was the bible found by the body of Miss Caffell not used in evidence and why was that bible destroyed by police also?
- Why are there different accounts about how many bodies were discovered on the ground floor of the farmhouse?
- How could Jeremy Bamber be the killer if police officers repeatedly detected movement inside White House Farmhouse whilst he was stood with them outside?
- Why was the silencer supposedly used in the shootings not discovered immediately when police entered the residence?
- Why did scratch marks supposedly made in the kitchen of the house by that silencer not appear in the first photographs taken at the crime scene? How were they actually made in order that they appeared in later imagery?
- How could Jeremy Bamber be the killer if he made a phone call from his Goldhanger home 3.5 miles away moments after his father had called police from White House Farmhouse to say that his daughter had “gone berserk” with a gun?
- Why did Essex Police hide hundreds of thousands of pages of key documentation including police logs and crime scene photographs from being shared during both the 1986 trial and the 2002 appeal?
- Could the AGA be responsible for the burn marks on Nevill Bamber and if so, why did Essex Police move bodies at the crime scene?

Jeremy Bamber’s adoptive parents, Ralph and June Bamber, and the grave where they are buried. Could he finally be exonerated of their killings in 2023?

In November 2022, Phillip Boyce – who has worked on high profile investigations as a forensic scientist for over 30 years –claimed that Essex Police could have “changed the evidence” in the case by moving the body of Nevill Bamber before official photographs of the scene were taken. If true, the three burn marks on Mr Bamber’s back would not have been inflicted by the hot end of a rifle but instead by his dead body being left lying against the AGA and its hot handles instead causing the burns. In photographs taken by police, shown to the trial jury at Chelmsford Crown Court in 1986, Nevill Bamber was instead seen slumped over an overturned chair in the kitchen.

One of the bedrooms at the farm; a truly horrific scene that will go down in history as a murder most horrid. If it is proven that Jeremy Bamber was NOT the killer, this case will also go down in history as one of Britain’s worst miscarriages of justice.

On 24th November 2022, the new True Crime Newsquest mini-series ‘White House Farm murders – Is Jeremy Bamber Innocent?’ featured in an article by Jody Doherty-Cove. In it, Tom Dalby, a reporter on the Colchester Gazette and Essex County Standard, is quoted to say: “The support Bamber gets in prison – in 2017 he told us he [got] about 100 letters per week from supporters, 500 Christmas cards. There is this level of support he still gets from people locally… There are people who are very clear he is innocent.” In the programme also, former detective Mark Williams-Thomas quotes Essex Police Acting Chief Detective Michael Ainsley as having written in 1985: “On my return from annual leave, I obviously enquired as to the situation with the murders… [I was assured] the evidence indicated that Sheila [Caffell] was responsible.”

In April 2020, ‘The Steeple Times’ reported that “further questions about the conduct of Essex Police [were] raised as it [was] revealed they destroyed the bible, nightclothes and pillows that were found with the victims at White House Farm on the night of the 1985 murders. The 20th March 2000 letter from the Criminal Cases Review Commission to Glaisyers Solicitors LLP and Sheila Caffell is truly a shocking example of a bungling balls-up.

The clearly left open bible next to the body of Sheila Caffell was photographed by Essex Police, but was then not submitted as evidence and destroyed. A supposed suicide note also disappeared and countless other evidence was clearly tampered with. “What motivation did those processing the scene have to do this?” is a question that Essex Police and prosecutors have repeatedly failed to answer.

Veteran human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, a longtime supporter of Jeremy Bamber, tweeted about the case on 7th March 2021. He remarked: “Is this [the] greatest miscarriage of justice?” and previously in 2017, he wrote to the then chief constable of Essex Police, Stephen Kavanagh, to highlight the “grave injustice” of the force’s withholding and destroying evidence with regard to the White House Farm murders.

Jeremy Bamber’s legal team have alleged that the senior investigating officer in the case, Michael Ainsley, took documents relating to the case to his home in 2010 and destroyed them in spite of “knowing there was an active appeal underway.” Surely, now, it is time for a reinvestigation of this case at the very least if faith in the British justice system is to be retained.

Mucky Madam’s Mark Twain Moment

As she faces sentencing for sex trafficking, morally bankrupt mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell turns to the words of morally superior Mark Twain; all they really have in common is mutual experience of financial bankruptcy

As deranged and delusional as only a woman who “makes monster moves” and “growls” in front of prison guards most certainly has to be – qualities apparently moulded into her by her equally deranged and delusional crook father – it must be said that when she gave a TED talk in 2014, the since convicted mucky madam sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell did exhibit obvious intellectual intelligence.

University of Oxford educated and the holder of both a BA and an MA – courtesy, it must be remembered, of her decidedly dodgy daddy bunging a fair wad of wonga to the college both she and her school chum Dame Cressida Dick attended – Miss Maxwell (AKA ‘Mrs Scott Borgerson’ – if he’s not given up on her and run off with his sexually “saucy” yoga partner) is now gunning for an appeal against her conviction.

As part of a strategy they believe will set this sordid sex trafficker free, the Maxwell family are using their @RealGhislaine Twitter account to peddle yet more piffle about their “beloved sister.” The account has attracted 10,000 followers and some media attention, but most responses to it have without a shadow of a doubt been beyond negative.

Yesterday evening whilst currently facing a long wait until sentencing on the 28^th June, taking a turn further into the bizarre after babbling on about the ‘Bouncing Czech’s’ favourite child – a child he also allegedly abused, if you’d believe a word that morphs out of the mouth of onetime owner of The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph Lord Hartwell’s daughter Eleanor Berry – @RealGhislaine went for the “intellectual” angle and tweeted:

“‘When I was younger, I could remember anything, whether it happened or not. But I’m getting older, and soon, I’ll remember only the things that never happened.’ Mark Twain.”

In sharing this, the Maxwells may think themselves clever, but they seem to forget that though Mark Twain shared having been bankrupt financially once with them, he most certainly wasn’t also morally bankrupt like their evil, murderer father. Unlike the pension pot plunderer’s kiddies with a still missing £500 million on their collective consciences, Twain paid back his creditors in full and unlike them, history remembers him fondly. History and especially the pensioners cheated out of comfortable retirements will never remember the duplicitous Maxwells in that way.

On the last day of January, obviously irritated at the way in which their seriously sinister sibling was quite deservedly being presented, @RealGhislaine shared another laughable tweet. It read:

“The narrative that says ‘she’s the daughter of a bad man, she’s treated badly, she goes with another bad man’ it’s so simplistic… It’s just intellectually lazy and it’s wrong.”

As crusading author Kirby Sommers highlighted in Ghislaine Maxwell: An Unauthorized Biography, Robert Maxwell once remarked: “I have a beautiful daughter and she’s just like me.” As, we have pointed out repeatedly when quoting it: The word “beautiful” should be replaced with “deviant” and it is jolly well time the mendacious Maxwell family faced that unsavoury truth.

Ghislaine Maxwell might like to think of herself as a bit of a brainbox, but forevermore she’ll be remembered for sex trafficking young girls with the croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and for teaching the dimwitted dumb disgrace Lady Victoria Hervey how to give blowjobs.

Ghislaine Maxwell has spoken on TED and at such events as the Westchester Digital Summit. In promotional material for such she was referenced as “a private helicopter pilot, a trained EMT, and a qualified ROV and Deepworker submarine pilot.” They added: “She speaks four languages: English, French, Spanish and Italian,” but neglected to mention that in addition to her American, British and French passports, she bizarrely told lawyers at Boies Schiller & Flexner that she was “a citizen of TerraMar” in April 2016.

The @RealGhislaine ‘Mark Twain Moment’ tweet didn’t exactly go viral. It was liked just 24 times, quoted once and retweeted by 3 other accounts.

Maxwell’s Moment – Ghislaine Maxwell: Jekyll And Hyde

Matthew Steeples assesses Jekyll and Hyde-like Ghislaine Maxwell’s character just as her moment of destiny in court looks likely to arrive within 24 hours

Ghislaine Maxwell’s life to date has undoubtedly been like a curate’s egg; a tale of two halves, partly very, very good and partly very, very bad. In fact, in analysis, one could most definitely sum her up as a modern-day Jekyll and Hyde crossed with a modern-day Cruella de Vil.

Born into a world of undoubted privilege and wealth and given access to the finest education possible, here is a 59-year-old woman whose skill set was honed from an early age. Without doubt socially able and considered the ultimate example of a connector, Maxwell has been lauded by her friends, family and supporters as charming, capable and caring. She certainly, on the surface, until 2019 appeared as someone who had gotten it all back in spite of her pension pot plundering, murderer father’s demise in 1992.

Seen last in London at a ritzy party for the Cash & Rocket car rally at Bibendum on 6^th June 2019 – which beyond ironically sought to help “women in need” and whose organiser Julie Brangstrup failed to vet the alleged mucky madam’s entry in spite of the fact that she’d already been served with a sworn affidavit concerning underage female trafficking in April 2019 – with spoilt heiresses including Chloe Green, Paris Hilton and Caroline Stanbury, Maxwell attempted a business career with such things as her Kit Kat Club in the 1980s, but later sought stature through campaigning and founding non-profits in the 2000s.

Maxwell’s superficial appearance and friendships with power and privilege, however, hid a monstrous and murky world. Whatever the outcome of her trial, it is clear that here is a woman who became anorexic at the age of three and was abused by her father and here is a woman who replaced that particular wicked monster with another wicked monster and abuser in the form of Jeffrey Epstein; here, indeed, is a warped woman completely lacking in a moral compass.

Plainly devoted to the opaquely funded taxi driver turned teacher turned financier, it is apparent from the evidence shown in Judge Alison Nathan’s court that Ghislaine Maxwell pandered to the now croaked paedophile’s every whim, but was he perhaps not also pandering to hers? The Palm Beach house manual presented as evidence is testimony to that and the multitude of photographs of the pair embracing speak volumes as to this being a union of equals.

Now, as we await a likely jury verdict within 24 hours, I’d suggest that the most important analysis in this case will be who was the master and manipulator and who was the functionary in this rotten relationship; follow the money and then you’ll get to the truly terrible truth about this nefarious narcissist. It will beyond sicken even the strongest of stomachs.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s life has undoubtedly, for the main, been one of privilege. Pictured here with actor Kevin Spacey, a man accused of multiple allegations sexual harassment and assault by young men, at Buckingham Palace, here is a self-entitled woman whose friends have included Prince Andrew, Presidents Clinton and Trump and Lady Victoria Hervey.

‘Cap’n Bob’s’ favourite daughter has always been into parties. Lauded as a “socialite” rather than as a “sordid sex trafficker” for most of her life thus far, the alleged mucky madam was pictured at notoriously nasty Naomi Campbell’s 2001 birthday party on the French Riviera with the likes of Flavio Briatore in 2001. The now 59-year-old is circled far right whilst Virginia Roberts Giuffre – who has already received a financial settlement of sum unknown from both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell – is also circled (centre, front).

They say you are defined by your choice of friends and this image of the deviant daughter of a pension pot plundering crook says it all. Jean-Luc Brunel is currently also incarcerated and awaiting trial. He stands accused of partaking in the sex trafficking ring run by Jeffrey Epstein, criminal conspiracy, human trafficking and the rape of minors by French prosecutors.

Miss Maxwell and her chum and co-driver Nettie Mason, wife of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, apparently raised nothing for charity during the Cash & Rocket 2019 shindig they participated in alongside Paris Hilton and Caroline Stanbury. In March 2021, ‘The Steeple Times’ asked organiser Julie Brangstrup: “Why, given you campaign against female trafficking, did Cash & Rocket allow Ghislaine Maxwell, a woman served with a sworn affidavit concerning underage female trafficking in April 2019, to participate in your June 2019 rally?” We again repeat that request to Ms Brangstrup today and again suggest that Maxwell’s ‘charity work’ was simply smoke-and-mirrors to hide her deviant desires.

‘The Bouncing Czech’s’ decidedly deviant daughter married Scott Borgerson in 2016 after he’d concluded divorce negotiations in which he’d been called out as violent and abusive. Curiously, Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-lover’s family knew nothing of this union until their sibling appeared in court following her arrest at Tuckedaway on 2nd July 2020. Mr Borgerson, 46, tellingly, has not attended his wife’s trial on a single occasion to date and has been spotted living-it-up with a “yoga enthusiast” who reportedly “has an ass that could crack open a walnut” named Kris McGinn. So much for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, it seems.

Whilst Mr Borgerson has not even bothered to show-up to support his wife in court in spite of her claims of having been tortured in prison, her siblings “linked arms” and put on a united front on Monday as the jury were sent out. That they already claim that, if she is found guilty, their sister will straight away seek to appeal the judgement is indicative of their lack of confidence in getting the result they so desire.

Menendez Take on TikTok

As the Menendez brothers case goes viral courtesy of their newfound TikTok supporters, it is time for their case to be reassessed and their convictions reduced to manslaughter suggests Matthew Steeples

Brothers Erik and Lyle Menendez were imprisoned in 1996 for the murders of their parents on 20^th August 1989 after two trials and in spite of the fact that their relatives testified to the sexual and emotional abuse they suffered.

Featured today on the Fox 11 channel in a 6:11-minute segment, news that this shocking story – which was brought back to public attention primarily by the crusading work of the journalist Robert Rand and the juror Hazel Thornton – has once again gone viral is illustration of the power of the ‘TikTok generation,’ who have in recent months shared thousands of posts, footage and photos relating to the case on social media.

Calling themselves ‘Menendez Defenders,’ these TikTok using youngsters – many of whom were not even born at the time that the brothers shot their decidedly deviant parents – have lobbied amongst others the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, to claim that the justice system “got it wrong” and all the brothers wanted was for the “abuse to stop.”

Speaking to Fox 11 of two brothers cruelly kept apart for 22 years until 2018, Robert Rand remarked:

“Erik Menendez wrote a paragraph in a letter to his cousin Andy Kano, that his father was still molesting him at the age of 17 and that he didn’t know what to do about it. And he said in this letter that he was afraid every night when he heard his father coming down the hallway.”

“I think in the 27 years since the Menendez brothers’ trials, society has evolved and changed so much. And if the Menendez trial was held today in 2021, I absolutely believe the resolution would have been manslaughter and not murder, and that is the way this case should have ended.”

Previously, on Instagram in February this year, Rand stated:

“Any announcement about the filing of a new appeal will be coming from the brothers themselves and their appeal attorneys.”

“In an online chat on the Justice Watchdog YouTube channel on 27^th December 2020, Erik Menendez said the brothers would be ‘filing a new appeal in 2021.’”

“One threshold for reopening an appeal is to make a filing that includes new evidence that was not included in the 1990s trials. An example of this type of evidence could be the letter Erik Menendez wrote to Andy Cano in December 1988. The Andy Cano letter has NEVER been part of any court proceedings before.”

“I remain hopeful that Erik and Lyle Menendez will file a new appeal in the future.”

“Even if a new appeal is filed in 2021, it’s unlikely that there would be any quick resolution of the case or the appeal filing. Court proceedings are frequently slow paced.”

“After 31 years, we’d all like to see Erik and Lyle Menendez released from prison and sent home to their families.”

“The reality is that the appeal process is more a marathon than a sprint. We’re all going to have to hang in there and keep supporting the brothers.”

Going further in reply to a question asked by another Instagram user, he subsequently added:

“I am 100% certain that any new potential new Menendez appeal will be filed on behalf of BOTH brothers. Even though Erik mentioned he’s filing a new appeal in 2021, the timing of the filing will be determined by the brothers’ appeal attorneys.”

“I understand you are all anxious to learn more about the appeal, but please remember that this is a highly sensitive and time consuming legal process that will remain confidential until it is filed.”

Today, yet again, I join those calling for a reexamination of the convictions of Erik and Lyle Menendez and call upon Gavin Newsom and others to do the decent thing: Help set these victims of abuse back on the path to the freedom they deserve after 25 years of incarceration.

This examination ought to have been conducted before the trial, but for reasons unknown to me it was not. Given that the site had been excavated by the police when searching for the body and afterwards refilled it was not possible for the expert to be totally certain about the dates when the different levels of concrete were laid. However, his conclusions, which are fully recorded in his report, suggest that the top level of concrete could not have been laid by Mark Alexander as he was not in that location at that time and can prove this. The report raises in my mind a reasonable doubt as to the safety of this conviction.”

A Perverted Parish

Internationally infamous Handforth parish council member Brendan Murphy faces jail for calling his neighbours “perverted” and a “tart” and a “peeping Tom”

Handforth parish council became infamous in December when a “doughty clerk” named Jackie Weaver mercilessly “kicked out” argumentative male councillors whilst “barely blinking when being yelled at” by them.

By February this year, the council’s meeting were being “dogged by rows again,” but now further scandal has emerged after one of its members, Councillor Brendan Murphy, was convicted of harassing his neighbours over a 13-year period.

Whilst the bickering councillors of Handforth provided light amusement for millions at the height of December’s lockdown, 79-year-old Councillor Murphy it seems is headed to jail for labelling his elderly neighbours “perverts” and “The Tart” and “The Peeping Tom.”

“Maverick” Murphy, currently a member of the Real Independent Group and the “first Macc Tory to ever be sacked” in December 2001 according to the Macclesfield Express, was found guilty of two charges of harassment at Stockport Magistrates’ Court last Friday.

Featured in the Daily Mail earlier this week, Murphy stood accused of “hounding” his neighbours Christopher and Margaret Boyd “with barbed comments after they fell out over a dispute about local gossip… and alleging he was underpaying his council tax.”

With police called on over 19 separate occasions, Murphy – whom unsuccessfully (unsurprisingly) stood for Parliament for the Conservative Party in the Vale of Clywd in 2001 – Mr Murphy told the court:

“I call Mr Boyd a ‘Peeping Tom’ and his wife a ‘Tart’ for a good reason and I think my legal response is justifiable.”

“I saw a CCTV camera on the wall filming me and I jokingly said, ‘I see you are a peeping Tom.’ I also said: ‘Mind you don’t fall off that roof, I cannot give you the kiss of life,’ but that was a joke too.”

“On one of the occasions, I was out with my dog. Mr and Mrs Boyd were walking down the road hand in hand swinging their arms looked very happy.”

“I said: ‘I’m glad to see you are so happy’ but instead of crossing the road she lurched into me and the dog whimpered in pain and that is when I called her a tart.”

“I think they are making a big deal out of this. I do not do it every day. I am an elected active councillor and I do a lot of community work.”

“There have been instances where I did say in response to them and they would stare, laugh, and sneer.”

“Mr Boyd is a very active DIY man with improving the garden, etc. His garage is his workshop, and he makes a loud noise that I do not want to hear.”

“People use the word ‘tart’ in lots of different ways and I will continue calling them a Peeping Tom and a tart as long as the cameras are still there.”

“I say these words 100 times when I see the cameras and it just gets it off my chest. There are nastier things I could say.”

Responding after being convicted, Murphy of 6 Hilton Road, Disley, Cheshire, SK12 2JU “confirmed that he intends to remain as a Cheshire East councillor” and boldly declared: “An immediate appeal will be launched, I am confident the conviction will be overturned.”

Previously, in April 2012, Brendan Murphy was found guilty of harassing Mr and Mrs Boyd. At that time he was fined £300 for harassment, ordered to pay £1,500 in court costs and given a restraining order prohibiting “him from speaking to or making gestures at the Boyds,” according to Macclesfield Live.

Murphy, the kind of person even “snitchin’” Priti Patel wouldn’t welcome to her street, will be sentenced on 26^th April. He remains on unconditional bail until then, but will go down in history with the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Zipporah Lisle-Mainwaring as an ultimate neighbour from hell.

As it is revealed that the father of Stuart Lubbock, murdered in Michael Barrymore’s swimming pool in 2001, has terminal cancer, it is time that the disgraced entertainer finally told the truth

This morning, the Mirror exclusively revealed the extremely sad news that Terry Lubbock, the father of a 31-year-old who was murdered in a swimming pool at the home of Michael Barrymore in 2001, has terminal cancer.

Speaking to the paper of his personal battle and belief that a new inquest into the violent sexual assault and slaying of Stuart Lubbock, courageous campaigner Terry Lubbock remarked:

“It’s a killer and I’m only going to be around for a few months. They can’t do anything about it, they say it has spread too far around my body.”

“We have got to get another inquest, then I will feel as though my job has been done. Then I can rest in peace.”

“I’ve given it my best shot, it’s taken me twenty years to start to get some kind of justice. I think it’s going to come.”

Last year, Essex Police and CrimeStoppers issued a new appeal for information at which time they stated: “19 years – still no justice; Help us get answers for Stuart; Someone knows.” Yesterday, going further, Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Jennings added:

“I believe that [Stuart] was raped and murdered that night. One or more of those party-goers are responsible for that serious sexual assault on Stuart Lubbock.”

“We remain committed to this investigation and continue to appeal for information leading to arrest and conviction in relation to the rape and murder of Stuart Lubbock.”

“Nine people went to the party at Michael Barrymore’s house, but only one of them – Stuart – ended up being violently sexually assaulted and murdered.”

“We know not everyone at that party was responsible for what happened, but someone was. We also know that not everyone at that party may know what happened, but someone does.”

“We want the people who do have information to come forward and talk to us – it is never too late to do the right thing and give the Lubbock family the answers and justice they have waited so long to have.”

Michael Parker (AKA Michael Barrymore) – Allegedly loudly said: “I need a f**k” in a taxi as he left the Millennium Nightclub to return to his home, the scene of the death of Stuart Lubbock. Barrymore later lied to a coroner’s court about facilitating drug taking at his house on the night in question also. He claimed to have been first to have discovered the body of Stuart Lubbock at 5.45am, called his manager Mike Brown before the ambulance arrived and then left the premises. He admits that was “wrong” and also bizarrely told Piers Morgan that in spite of “knowing others were hiding secrets about what happened to Mr. Lubbock” that “I am not going to say their names. I just hope they are brave enough to come forward one day.”

Mike Brown – Agent of Michael Barrymore. Called to the property before emergency services arrived.

Kelly Campbell – Had met Michael Barrymore for the first time on the night of the incident. Claimed not to have been aware of what happened.

James Futters (sometimes spelt ‘Futers’) – A paper boy turned chef. Described as “a local from the village” and a “friend and neighbour of Barrymore.” Claimed to have been the first to discover the body with Simon Shaw and stated: “[It was not] Michael Barrymore and not Jonathan Kenney [who found him].” Later, of him the Evening Standard reported: “Barrymore offered James Futters a white powder on his finger saying: ‘Do you want to try this?’ Mr Futters told the inquest that he leaned forward and licked the powder.”

Claire Jones – Then aged 17. Had met Michael Barrymore for the first time on the night of the incident. Claimed not to have been aware of what happened but told the police that she “saw Barrymore rummaging through drawers and changing his clothes before police arrived. When he left the house, he had a ‘bundle of material’ under his arm,” according to the Evening Standard. “She added: ‘Jonathan (Kenney) was rushing through the bungalow before the ambulance and police arrived. I got the impression he was hiding something.’”

Jonathan Kenney – Estate agent, drag queen and Michael Barrymore’s then lover; later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged; known for having a “record of violence.” Claimed to have been the first to have discovered the body.

Justin Merritt – A dustman from Essex. Later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged. Later paid £30,000 by the News of the World for an interview in which he stated Barrymore had “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died.”

Kylie Merritt – Sister of Justin Merritt. She also alleged Barrymore “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died” (curiously in the wake of her brother selling his account of the night).

Simon Shaw – Described as “a local from the village.” Michael Barrymore supposedly “ran off” to Mr. Shaw’s house to “buy himself thinking time [for two hours] before he was questioned by the police [at 7.49am].”

In addition, others, who’ve never been identified could also have possibly been present. If they were, they should come forward or be named by those listed above.

Mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers demand she gets access to a laptop seven days per week; one can assume she’ll expect a ritzy MacBook Pro

“What Ghislaine Maxwell wants, Ghislaine Maxwell gets” would be a fair summary of the past life of the now incarcerated and thankfully not bailed mucky madam.

Yesterday, having previously moaned about her not having a desk, writing surface or email access in August 2020, her lawyer, Christian R. Everdell of Cohen & Gresser LLP, wrote to The Honourable Alison J. Nathan to demand “the Bureau of Prisons give Ms. Maxwell access to the laptop computer [which has more than generously already been made available to her 5 days per week] provided by the government so that she can review discovery on weekends and holidays.”

In spite of her trial commencing in 178 days on 12^th July, mucky madam Maxwell’s lawyers argue she is losing “several days of review time every weekend and every holiday because she does not have access to the laptop.”

Going further, they remarked that they have tried to “lift this restriction, but without success” previously and added:

“If Ms. Maxwell is to have any hope of reviewing the millions of documents produced in discovery so that she can properly prepare her defense by the July 12^th, 2021 trial date, she must have access to the laptop every day, including weekends and holidays.”

“There is no principled justification for this restriction… The laptop is kept in a locker in the same room where the prison computer is located, so it would not require any change in Ms. Maxwell’s movements to give her the requested access.”

“… Given the millions of documents that Ms. Maxwell must review before trial in order to prepare her defense, it is critical that she be given as much time as possible with the laptop to review the discovery.”

Whatever next? Aside from Maxwell – who also repeatedly complained about her vegan eating habits not being properly catered for in the pokey – no doubt wanting an upgrade to a ritzy MacBook Pro, she’ll almost certainly be demanding Krug on tap next also. What else? Maybe even more inappropriately given what she grubbily used to arrange for the filthy fiend Jeffrey Epstein, a weekly visit from a masseuse as well and a Rolls-Royce to court also?

Natalie Elphicke MP’s decision to take £25,000 to talk about her ‘Naughty Tory’ husband and her U-turn to now help him appeal his sentence show her as nonsensical, noxious and nutty

When her randy ‘Naughty Tory’ husband, Charlie Elphicke, became a convicted sex offender in July, his nincompoop wife Natalie – whom also shamelessly took over his former parliamentary seat – happily accepted a bung of £25,000 from The Sun to pen articles titled ‘My Ordeal’ where she proceeded to bleat about her “humiliation” rather than sympathise with the victims.

“Blubbering balderdash” correctly surmised one commentator of this wacky woman’s grasping antics, yet Amanda Plattell – a “dear friend” of fellow convicted sex offender Rolf Harris – decided to pen an article late last month for the Daily Mail about the matter. In her dippy diatribe, Plattell suggested Mrs Elphicke was right to do a U-turn and start helping her grubby, groping husband appeal his very much deserved two-year jail sentence.

Going further of her change of heart towards the sexual abuser she has two children with late last week, Natalie Elphicke astoundingly told Kent Live:

“I fully support Charlie in his appeal against both his convictions and today’s excessive sentence. The court seems to be on a bit of a mission, it entirely ignored the report of a highly experienced probation officer as well as sentencing guidelines.”

“There is no doubt that Charlie behaved badly. However, everyone, Charlie included, has the right to a fair trial, and I don’t believe that he has had one.”

“As I have written since the trial, I believe that Charlie’s conviction was a terrible miscarriage of justice. Having read all the evidence, including elements which the jury did not see, I continue to support him in every way possible in his appeal against both conviction and sentence.”

“Substantive appeals have now been lodged and I hope others may join me in supporting Charlie’s legal fight to clear his name.”

Whilst this might seem beyond crackers, henceforth, Natalie Elphicke OBE MP might do best to stop banging on about her favoured topic of immigration and instead examine her own moral compass. It plainly is beyond warped and, quite frankly, it is perhaps now time that this nutty woman retreated back into the shadows.

Rolls-Royce owned by “maverick” Demon Internet dot-com millionaire Cliff Stanford to be auctioned; an au pair he employed was tragically murdered by a British serial sex offender in Spain; he was convicted of “email spying” in a scandal featuring gerrymanderer Dame Shirley Porter
- Cliff Stanford is best-known for having established the early dot-com success story Demon Internet in 1992. He had a (boom, boom) “demon touch” and sold the company for £66 million in 1998.
- After pocketing £30 million personally, one of Stanford’s first moves was to buy a private plane and “one of the most lavish Rolls-Royces then available.”
- He paid the equivalent (with a discount) of £265,000 today for the opulent Rolls-Royce and declared it: “My favourite present to myself.”
- The 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is now to be auctioned for less than a tenth of that price with a lower estimate of just £18,000.
- Stanford’s Spanish au pair was tragically murdered in 1999 and subsequently in a totally unconnected series of events, he was convicted of “email spying” on notorious Conservative politician and gerrymanderer Dame Shirley Porter and her son.
- According to his personal Twitter account, Stanford is now based in Tallinn, Estonia; he recently tweeted in support of Dominic Cummings, but neglected to mention if he would have loaned his motor for the spinner’s infamous Barnard Castle drive.
In 1998, “flamboyant” Internet pioneer Cliff Stanford paid the equivalent of £265,000 in today’s money for a brand-new motor. He did not opt for the eco-friendly kind-of-car that today’s tech titans drift around in, but instead slam dunked and went for the ultimate symbol of flash – a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur with every conceivable extra.

Stanford’s long wheel base ride – a vehicle that would have been the envy even of Charles Frere, the business tycoon bounder of Howards’ Way, in terms of its lavishness – personified excess and reflected the persona of a man whom “laughingly” considered getting the numbers ‘666’ incorporated into the dial-up for his Demon Internet company’s software.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and the longer wheelbase Silver Spur (and their Bentley equivalents) were the favoured mode of conveyance of business moguls in the 1980s and 1990s. Charles Frere (played by the late Tony Anholt, died 2002), a stereotypical example of such a character, was regularly seen in such motors in the BBC classic ‘Howards’ Way’ also.

Born in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, Clifford Stanford started his career as an accountant, but “found his way to the Internet via a love of computers.” He hit the jackpot with Demon Internet in 1992 and after selling that company to Scottish Telecom for £66 million, claimed his empire would be “bigger than Branson’s” according to the Guardian.

Speaking to the paper in December 2001, he continued: “I always wanted to be wealthy. Money doesn’t buy happiness but lack of it can lead to misery. Now I really enjoy my life, I do whatever I like and no-one tells me otherwise” and next he set up another venture, Redbus Investments, with Dame Shirley Porter’s son, John, as chairman. It listed on the stock exchange in March 2000 and the company’s activities included not only Internet hosting, but also a landmine disposal system and forays into football and popular music.

Redbus, according to ZDNet in Sept2005, was where “Stanford’s trouble seemed to start.” Kiss-and-tell scandals involving a “champagne fueled romp” at Claridge’s and his being banned from the hotel ensued, whilst in 1999 his Spanish au pair was murdered by a serial British sex offender named Tony King – who was only jailed in 2006 after a previous wrongly convicted suspect was cleared in 2002.

In 2001, the Guardian reported on the tycoon’s associations with Max Clifford – with a plainly hoodwinked Stanford remarking: “Max always has loads of really interesting people at his events” of the long since disgraced and now thankfully dead paedophile – and mentioned an unsuccessful investment of £1 million in a “badly managed” girl band called Girls@play. It had The Apprentice’s Alan Sugar’s niece as its lead singer, but ultimately was “a complete disaster really,” the businessman lamented.

By 2005, Redbus had unraveled spectacularly and in September that year, Sandford was convicted of intercepting emails belonging to his former friend John Porter. He tried to claim his actions were legal, but after being given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay a fine of £20,000 and £7,000 in prosecution costs, a later appeal was denied.

Divorced, a father of two and reinvented as an “innovation strategist” according to his LinkedIn.com page, Stanford is now is based in Tallinn, Estonia with his American-German science fiction writer partner Sylvia Spruck Wrigley. They describe the vehicle as “one of the highest specified cars we have seen and presents well in black with black leather seats, carpets and headlining,” but neglect to detail any of the high jinxes that this larger-than-life character no doubt conducted from its rear seating area.

September 2005 – Convicted and given a suspended sentence of 6 months and a fine of £20,000 ($24,700, €22,000 or درهم90,600). A later hearing denied leave to appeal in February 2006.
