Irresponsible, uninsured Romanian Bentley driver George Claudiu Albu stands accused of fleeing the scene of an accident that tragically resulted in the death of a 23-year old father of one
A 31-year old Romanian bodybuilder named George Claudiu Albu appeared in court on Monday. He was remanded in custody to appear at a preliminary hearing on 24th August charged with killing a 23-year old gardener in his £120,000 Bentley in Pembridge Villas in Notting Hill on Thursday last.
Accused of driving at upto 70mph in a 30mph zone, heavily tattoed Albu – whom the Evening Standard reported as living in a £1 million flat in Porchester Road, Bayswater with a woman “understood to be his wife” – is alleged to have hit a grounds maintenance man and father of one named Chris Jones at 11.50pm last Thursday. Albu and a passenger, residents stated, were seen fleeing the scene immediately afterwards leaving 2Pac playing “loudly” on the car’s stereo.

Prior to Albu’s Facebook page being deleted today, The Steeple Times gained access to it. We share here several pictures from the site including one featuring him shirtless. In the image, Albu is shown with a tattoo that reads: “Thug life” and in another he appears next to his Bentley in a shirt emblazoned with the same caption. Our Wally of the Week – and many may deservedly describe him in terms far worse – is probably now regretting posting such images.

These are exactly the type of alien animals that the EU has foisted on our country. And another point….for those who find the antics of supercar drivers skidding around Knightsbridge at high speeds, harmless, let them think of what happened to this innocent and kind hearted driver.

the boy he killed was my sons best friend and was such a great lad we classed as part of our family chris and my son where born on the same day and year and my son is in bits . as are we all our love and thought go out to the jones family . I hope this scumbag gets everything that’s coming to him . I think they should bring back hanging . RIP chris forever in our hearts xxxxxxx
My condolences to you. Mr Jones sounds to be a thoroughly good man and the coward who dumped his Bentley and let him die is quite to the contrary. I feel for you and your family and friends. May justice be served.

I sow the pictures from different newspapers and look like he first hit the broken car … Could be possible like this man to not see the young guy because he was between bentley and the broken car…

Driving at 70mph is not acceptable in a 30mph zone. Driving without insurance is not acceptable. It is also not acceptable to run away from the scene of a crime and it is also reprehensible to have left someone to die. There is no excuse. Mr Albu is a disgrace.

The “truth” is very simple: Someone drove a Bentley at ridiculous speeds and hit an innocent man. Then, two men were seen fleeing the scene leaving an innocent man to die.

Looking at recent figures released, we have over 800 killers, rapists and child offenders from the EU in our prisons. We have opened the floodgates to people to move to the UK without enough background checks about their criminal pasts. Albu, like so many others is an example why we should exit the EU, take back our borders and only allow those from the EU who have been checked and double checked and can make a positive contribution to the UK and hopefully abide by our laws. We have enough problems with our own citizens clogging up our jails, we now have over 20% of jail population being from outside the [email protected]
