A ‘friend’ of Kevin Spacey, Geoffrey Mark, has declared that the Academy Award winning actor and ‘friend’ of the jailed sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell “was always innocent, and just preferred enjoying a bachelor’s lifestyle rather than an abuser’s.”
Asked further about Spacey being “exonerated recently in a London court” at an event for the Hollywood Museum, self-professed “walking encyclopedia of show business history” Mr Mark replied:
“Yeah… It’s very rare, in or out of showbusiness, when someone has a very strong opinion about something, that one is shown to be absolutely correct.”
“I’ve known Kevin for many years. I knew he was innocent. I knew why these charges were being brought. I understood how wrong the whole thing was. We’ve discussed that off camera. I am thrilled to discuss it on camera.”
“Kevin Spacey is one of the most talented human beings on the planet and he needs to get his career back because we’re missing out on all the wonderful, wonderful, wonderful performances that he’s still got left in him.”
“So, let’s leave all this, erm, nonsense behind. Let’s celebrate Kevin Spacey. He’s my buddy. I do.”
“[Kevin’s] a brilliant conversationalist and yes, erm, he does like younger men. Men. Yeah, they’ve been times he’s shown up with a blonde or a brunette on his shoulders, but they were grown folks who were intelligent, brilliant conversationalists.”
“Kevin has given so much to charity that people don’t even know about. That’s the guy I know; this charity loving, charity giving bon vivant, raconteur who is more talented and more attractive than even he realises and I just feel blessed… I just feel blessed. It’s so good to be just a little part of his life.”
“Was it fair the way he was treated? I think yes and no. An allegation is an allegation. I don’t think someone should lose their livelihood over an allegation. On the other hand, all of us who sign contracts have moral clauses in them. Alienating a good part of your audience is a money loser.”
“I think it happened too quickly. I think it happened too much, but I don’t think it is unfair because there are folks out there who are guilty of these things. We can’t just look the other way about paedophilia. We can’t just say: ‘Kevin wasn’t guilty, so therefore nobody else is’ as no, unfortunately, a lot of people are. Just not him and sometimes we have to air on the side of children and say, well, erm, ‘I take it on the chin because you gotta [sic] keep the kids’ welfare the most important thing.”
“I think if the scandal were about anything else, I would say he was terribly and unfairly treated. Only because the subject was children, you’ve got a take a stab and say: ‘This is unfair, but in a way it’s understandable’ and I am thrilled that he has been exonerated. That’s fair.”
Turning to “what’s next for Spacey,” the decidedly eccentric Grammy Award nominee Mr Mark warbled on and opined:
“I think it’s all going to all be about the money. If Kevin comes up with something that looks like it’s going to make studios money, they’re going to forgive him and if Kevin can’t come up with that, then they’re going to use these false accusations as an excuse.”
“So, it all depends on what he comes up with next and what happens in this country politically because unfortunately even outrage like this comes and goes in fads and we’ll have to see who really screws up to get headlines to see how much forgiveness Kevin gets.”
“I’m sure he is asking himself exactly that. ‘What is next? What will people accept from me?’ He lost so much, he’s going to have to rebuild.”
“Even though it was never his fault, he should never have had to go through this. He’s going to have to rebuild and in doing so, my opinion is he’s going to go in a direction we hadn’t considered before. He’s going to do something new and creative because that’s who Kevin is and we’re gonna [sic] see a whole new creative side to him come out. And I’m gonna [sic] say that of course and most folks are gonna [sic] say: ‘Wow, I never knew.’ There’s a lot more coming; there’s a lot more coming and I’m thrilled to see it.”
Spacey was exonerated of nine sexual offence charges relating to four men between 2001 and 2013 by a jury at Southwark Crown Court in July. A claim by Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp that he was sexual assaulted by the former House of Cards star when Rapp was only 14 was also previously dismissed whilst allegations concerning 15 other individuals have continued to “tarnish” his reputation.

As plastic-not-fantastic Omid Scobie delays publication of ‘Endgame’ until November, could it be that November might actually be the end of the ‘game’ of the mendacious menace Meghan Markle?
Despite having been clearly ‘dragged’ up in Britain, Omid Scobie likes to play to the American gallery. With his references to the “royal beat” and “out fall” talk about his forthcoming tittle-tattling dire drivel, this plastic-not-fantastic freak, it seems, has delayed publication of his latest tub of tripe, Endgame, supposedly until November.
Though many asked “why might this be?” this morning, Matthew Steeples enquired more pointedly about the delay on Twitter and was met with a barrage of responses. They numbered missives that included:
“Meghan is apparently lazy and can’t get off her ass to write for him.”
“Most likely the threat of legal action.”
“Earthshot Prize 2023 takes place on 7th November. Of course, it is just a coincidence right?”
“Probably wants to ruin the King’s 75th birthday. All the headlines in November will be about Omid Scabies and MeGain.”
Akin to the dopey dog that he well and truly can be categorised as, Scobie – nicknamed by many ‘Scabies’ and a chap spotted recently by the distinguished journalist Alexis Parr at The Dorchester bizarrely “sheepishly” sporting what resembled a set of pyjamas – recently pathetically spilled his gruesome guts for Prince Harry in his court case against the Mirror. Now, as a result, this tedious twerp is likely being rewarded with a ‘juicy bone’ and will be able to profit personally if his book makes it to press (second time) on-time.

What’s the truth about the many ‘curious stories’ that abound about the Duchess of Sussex?
Of her claiming having got married the day before she actually did, Mr Markle stated: “Lying about the archbishop? How can you say: ‘We’ve been married three days before we got married’? Her lies are so obvious, I don’t know why she says them.”
Her very own half-sister, Samantha Markle, who is currently bringing a defamation case against her, has called her out as a liar on multiple occasions also. It has been proven that the duchess’s claim that she hasn’t seen her sibling in over 20 years was untrue given a photo of the pair together 14 years ago proves quite to the contrary.
Her very own half-brother, Thomas Jr., said of her: “I told Prince Harry, I think she’s going to ruin your life. She’s very shallow… She’s a phony, a bully, a jaded, shallow, conceited woman.”
The wife of Prince Harry has been called out on multiple occasions for spinning stories against other members of the royal family, most especially the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Queen Camilla.
Staff who’ve worked for her have complained that she is a bully and investigations into this remain ongoing.
The Duchess of Sussex is a known manipulator of the press and paparazzis and it has been claimed that she’ll “twist the truth” to get any headline she wants.
Questions remain as to how many times she’s actually been married in total. Some say twice, some say thrice.
What’s the truth about Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland? Is this clearly equally manipulative woman an honest and decent citizen or is she a jailbird who has spent time in the clink?
Did the ‘Montecito Meddler’ meet Prince Andrew or Prince Harry first? Rumours abound that she could have spent time and holidayed with the former as long ago as 2001 and that her claim to have no prior knowledge of the royal family until 2016 is just utter baloney.
Not sorry in the slightest… In blubbing about how “sorry” he is and asking if people want him dead, Phillip Schofield just shows he’s a self-serving weird wazzock who doesn’t really think he’s done anything wrong suggests Matthew Steeples
In September 2012, a 2.5-minute long spoof video of Sir Nick Clegg singing about how “sorry” he was over his then party’s decision to back tuition fees when he’d previously said he wouldn’t. Surprisingly for a politician, faced with the “apology song” by the parody site The Poke going viral, Sir Nick didn’t object, but remarkably instead asked all the profits be given to a children’s hospital.
As is the case now in any situation where someone in the media eye has done wrong in Britain, inevitably, soppy sap Schofield just had to follow the narrative of victimhood and go and bring up Caroline Flack. Unlike Sir Nick, who owned his mistake and turned it into something positive, the now conformed as a liar and a deceiver ex-This Morning presenter turned to the BBC’s Amol Rajan – a wishy-washy warbler described this morning by Mic Wright in his Conquest of the Useless column as a “ubiquitous mediocrity” and someone closely linked to the just announced as sanctioned Russian oligarch Alexander Lebedev – to try and twist public into taking pity on him.
Using The Sun’s assistant editor and showbiz columnist Clemmie Moodie – a woman who bizarrely isn’t after coming as highbrow and describes herself as “used to be sporty” on her Twitter handle – also to share his sordid story, ‘Schofe’ was said to “furiously vape” and “visibly shake” as he sought to change the noxious narrative that nailed him. The 63-year-old declared himself “broken and ashamed” but “not a groomer” of a child he, a now confirmed, known liar, first met when that child was – if still to be unsubstantiated allegations are to be believed – was somewhere between 10 and 15 years old.
Going further, the whining whingebag queue jumper illustrated that others likely knew what he was up to in adding: “I didn’t lie to protect my career… The lies grew bigger and bigger and it was affecting both of us deeply… I’ve made a mistake… I did not, I did not [groom him]. There are accusations of all sorts of things. It never came across that way [an abuse of power] because we’d become mates… I assume somebody, somewhere, assumed something was going on, correctly, and didn’t say anything… I should have known better. I should have acted the way I have always acted. I should not have done it.”
Returning to the “quite lengthy” Amol Rajan Newscast interview for BBC Radio 4, issued this morning after first being featured as snippets on the Today programme, Schofield spoke to his fellow broadcaster about the “avalanche of interest” in the story.
“It’s like a weird numbness. I know that’s a selfish point of view, but you come to a point where you just think: ‘How much are you supposed to take? If all of those people that write all that stuff, do they ever think that there’s actually a person at the other end?’ and so, here I am… I have to [do this interview] because there is an innocent person here who didn’t do anything wrong, er, who is vulnerable and probably feels like I do.”
After Rajan asked about whether he’d spoken with the former ‘runner’ who forms a central tenant of this scandal also, he continued:
“Erm, as I engaged the lawyer for him, erm, erm, so, he needed independent support, so that was the last time… Yeah, a couple of weeks [ago].”
Moving on to more general points about their pair’s ‘relationship,’ Schofield – who stands by his statement that he met the ‘runner’ when the boy was ‘just’ 15 – added:
“If it was a hetrosexual relationship, then would have been a bit of, you know, nudge-nudge, wink-wink, but if it’s a gay relationship, then suddenly it’s wrong. People just do find each other attractive in different age groups. You know, it does happen, but it’s the mere fact that this is so gigantic. You know, I appreciate the workplace and the history; I get that, but I get the fact that is so massive is so predominately homophobia.”
“This is all accusations, just accusations… [He was] 20 [when I first had sexual contact with him]… In my statement I said, ‘consensual relationship, fully legal by both sides,’ no no… He’d been working at the show for a few months, erm, and we’d become mates.”
“We were mates, erm, you know, around the studios and we’d hang out together, you know, chat to each other. You know, that sort of stuff, erm… And then in my dressing room one day, something happened. Erm, which, you know I will regret forever for him and me, mostly him. Erm, that happened maybe four or five times over the next few months and I know, it’s unforgivable, but we weren’t boyfriends, we weren’t in a relationship. I was really in a mess with my own sexuality at the time and it just happened… He was 20, 21.”
“Everybody [at This Morning] loved him… [The relationship] probably happened five times, maybe six times, but nothing more than that… I was at the time beginning to get into a very poor mental state with my own sexuality and, erm, I thought that was bad. Nothing like this. And, erm, it just sort of drifted.”
“We still stayed mates, we’re still mates, we still, still say friendly and I got him work because, you know, you’re living in London and you’re struggling and I, er, I got him runner’s jobs on other shows that I did because he was a very good runner and a mate he was someone that I know and it’s always nice to have a team around you, a team that you know.”
“When the rumour [about the relationship] got bigger, we were, we were both asked… It was a totally innocent picture, a totally innocent Twitter follow – on which I follow 11,400 people – and then it was a completely innocent backwards and forwards over time about a job, about careers. What’s wrong with that? What’s wrong with talking to someone, you know, whatever age they are?… What was unwise was the fact that it, that it just happened and that was a very grave error.”
“You know, it was, it was consensual, but it was my fault… because I shouldn’t have done it. It was entirely my fault… You know, you know, you just have a moment… It was consensual. I was older. I should have known better. I shouldn’t have done it.”
“I kissed someone in the workplace – which led onto a ‘little bit more’… Erm, and that, retrospectively, you think, my friends have said: ‘What the hell were you thinking? You know, you don’t do that, you’ve never done that’ and I think, I don’t put any excuse on, there are no excuses here. You know, I am, I am, it’s my fault, but, I think the fact I was trying to come to terms with who I was, what I was going to do about it, the effects that it would have, I think that’s probably the reason.”
“I’ve never abused my power in any way. I’m not a bully. I don’t, you know, God, reading the things that you are supposed to be. I don’t lord it around TV studios, you know, everyone is a friend… I snapped once at around the time I was ‘coming out’ and I, er, snapped at one of our producers and after the meeting I immediately went over and I immediately apologised to her. It’s not me. I’m not rude on the studio floor. I don’t bully people. I don’t lord it around… That’s been an important thing for me in 41 years of television.”
Asked: “Did you love him?” by Rajan, a clearly not sorry but just protecting his not sorry self Schofield – a mouse-not-a-man who admits to having formed a “secret WhatsApp group called ‘The Event’” prior to coming out – fired back quickly:
“No. We were just mates. We were mates… What he wants is for all of this to go away. He wants all of this to go away. He wants a quiet life. He didn’t want any of this to happen in the first place and I am sure he completely regrets it. He has nothing to regret because it was all my fault, so he nothing to regret. It’s not his fault.”
“I told him [when the media and social media users first started highlighting the story]: ‘It’ll go away, I’m sure it’ll go away’ and we both said: ‘What the hell is this?’ and then it started to grow legs and it got bigger and bigger and it was said that there was a super-injunction and I’d got him fired or moved on. All completely untrue… We were still mates… All of these things started to grow and it got bigger and bigger.”
“He didn’t ever want his name out there. He just wanted it all to go away.
Turning to his relationship with Holly Willoughby – who has put out missives saying she knew nothing of the lies told by her now former colleague – Schofield most definitely contradicted himself whilst ‘wanting to be clear’ about the “workplace fling” he lied about:
“No, God know [I never told her anything]. That’s a bigger question because, you know, our makeup room was like a sanctuary, erm, has always been a sanctuary. You tell people everything in that room; Holly knows everything about me; I know everything about Holly. All the team that are in there, when the door is closed, then that’s the sanctuary and it’s a wonderful, wonderful environment and it’s something that I will miss deeply and, erm, Holly, I don’t know whether Holly ever asked me, but I would have denied it.”
Responding to being questioned by Rajan complaints of “toxicity” in This Morning studio from the likes of Dan Wootton, Dr Ranj Singh, Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, Schofield variously raged:
“All I see is people getting angry about a show they’re not on anymore.”
“[The stories] are categorically untrue and I have to say there are a great many things that have been said that are categorically untrue. You know, you know I have nothing against Dan and now I have brought myself down to a far, far greater degree than you could have ever have done. I have brought myself down. I am done.”
“I have to talk about television in the past tense, which, you know, erm, breaks my heart, but it continues and it is day after day, day after day and if you, erm, don’t think that is going to have the most catastrophic effect on someone’s mind, what, do you want me to die, because that’s where I am. I have lost everything.”
“I don’t see a future and so how much do you want a man to take? And are you truly only happy when he’s dead? And this is how Caroline Flack felt and it didn’t stop… Someone said: ‘You’re being treated like Jack the Ripper’ and I haven’t looked at a single thing and that would be the final push. I haven’t looked at a single thing. I haven’t looked at a single newspaper article. I deleted all the apps and all my notifications. I haven’t looked at my phone; I haven’t looked at the news.”
“But, still it comes, utterly relentless, uncontrolled online… It’s too big. The lie got too big for both of us; just enormous. It was growing and growing and growing and it crossed over from online to mainstream news and that had to stop.”
“If there was toxicity between two members of a team that I was completely unaware of and they had ‘beef’ with one another, that’s nothing to do with us, but that the programme that I loved and the programme that I left, I have never seen that from my position or heard it in fact.”
“God, I hope [I’m not toxic]. I know what the issues are with two principal people and I wish and I, er, don’t like toxicity.”
Finally, asked if he’d had other “gay sexual experiences” and if he “felt like a victim,” tellingly the anything-but-sorry Schofield responded: “I don’t think this interview is about other experiences.”
“I feel a victim of hate after the event and I think there will be a lot of people watching this thinking: ‘How dare you.’ Erm, it would be easier for me to say is that what I think I am a victim of spun areas of non-factual information and gossip and nastiness, but I don’t look anymore. I’ve already told you how I feel and I’m not in television anymore.”
“I’m glad it’s not a lie anymore and if I could have taken the whole frontal brunt of this without an innocent man being hauled alongside, then fair play, but the fact that an innocent man, his friends, his family, erm, the associations is questioned [sic] because you can say anything online… You don’t have to worry about I say anymore because, erm, I’ll just be saying that to the garden.”

Going further in a GB News feature with Dan Wootton of the warbling wazzock Schofield’s “relationship” with a now 27-year-old one-time actor who is curiously currently being represented by the ritzy law firm Mischon de Reya LLP, Holmes raged:

In a week when a February 2020 article from The Steeple Times – titled simply “The Phil & Matt Show” – went viral on our pages and became by far our most read article ever of our thousands of pages of published content since we began in May 2012, it seems that interest in Schofield and his sidekick turned nemesis Holly Willoughby has overtaken that of interest in ‘Wallmart Wallis’ (AKA the former Meghan Markle).

“I heard the questions that Lady Susan asked Miss Fulani and given several issues, I feel this was a tragic misinterpretation of communication.”
“Firstly, Ms Fulani was wearing a glaringly and culturally, symbolic clothing ensemble, which would arouse curiosity and questioning by any reasonable person where the attire is not customary for the region.”
“That being said, if someone were standing outside my home, wearing a Samurai ensemble or an Irish jigging ensemble or a sari, I would respectfully ask where the individual is from. If the individual said: ‘I am from here,’ I might be confused because of the unique clothing and further ask: ‘No, but where are you really from or where is your family from?’”
“I would likely be fascinated, and want to know the origins of such a unique outfit and the person wearing them. I might want to know about their family, and I would be delighted to hear more. Although, somehow that it is considered rude to ask, I think that it is rude not to ask, but rather to assume or stereotype.”

“Also, considerable and worthy of note is the fact that Lady Susan is 83-years-old and respectfully and diligently served the royal family for many, many years. She is of a different generation to Miss Fulani, so perhaps it would have been customary in most cultures to extend respect to the elderly and realise that she has a different perspective and set of norms about cultural exchange.”
“I think Lady Susan did the right thing and didn’t want to draw assumptions, but rather respected Miss Fulani by asking and caring enough to do so. Based on everything I have seen, it is my opinion that there was entrapment occurring. The set up was racially driven to stimulate controversy around the British royal family targeting an 83-year-old woman to make an example out of and to shame. It is inhumane in my opinion, and shame on those, who are so irrational, and not capable of personal integrity and maturity, or human compassion enough to find other ways to work out their personal issues regarding racism as it pertains to their own lives.”
“I think Lady Susan should have also been provided with the opportunity to learn about this woman’s culture, without being dismissed and socially shamed abruptly. This could have been a win-win situation, and given all factors and variables.”
“I believe that Lady Susan ought be restored of her dignity, respect, and social prestige that she has worked so long for, and does not deserve to be stripped of, because of what seems like a staged encounter to spin a narrative that raises the public hackles, and is unjustly damaging to the British royal family, and certainly to Lady Susan.”
“Lady Susan should be fully exonerated and this matter of seemingly false accusations, constituting, incitement and the abuse of an elderly citizen should be investigated.”
“I might also add that was has been said about Lady Susan assisting my sister at the behest of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and reporting back that my sister was allegedly difficult seems to correlate with a motive of vindication. It is also reported that there is a link between the organisation Miss Fulani represents and my sister.”
“When I was getting my masters degrees and studying multicultural counseling, I learned that it is wrong to make assumptions about others cultures, and not ask questions, because that can be construed as stereotyping, and each individual within a population or cultural group, does not adhere to culturally specific norms. We respect individuals by asking them what their personal preferences are regarding communication and take it from there.”
“I just wanted to qualify in case anyone wonders why I am commenting when I’m not a British citizen. We are all human and with my degree in counseling, and what I know multicultural counseling I felt it was important to mention some aspects of that matter that many may have overlooked.”
