Yesterday, a pig named David Hameron swept to victory in Devon after a race where micropig Nigel Forage ducked a hurdle in an effort to swerve ahead of the other contestants.

Held at Pennywell Farm at Buckfastleigh in Devon, 6/1 favourite David Hameron easily saw off 12/1 Ed Swiliband and 150/1 Pork Clegg. Pork Scratchings, a fifth pig representing all other political parties, barely put in a performance.
