Picture of the Week – Protesting British Style

Section:

Amusing signs from the Unite for Europe march

When Brits protest, they do it with heart and at Saturday’s Unite for Europe march, thousands did so with aplomb.

Our Picture of the Week comes from the website Ink Tank and features a placard that one attendee carried. It reads: “I’m British. I’m on a march. Things must be bad”.

Amongst fifteen others selected by a remain campaigner named Simon Field was one that read: “I am quite cross”. We salute this fun selection and hope they’ll brighten your day.

  1. I am disheartened by the bile and vitriol poured out by some Remoaners and Brexiteers too. But this girl’s placard did make me smile. Yes, indeed, very British,

  2. These images are wonderful. Do I have permission to use the “I am quite cross” image in my blog please? I won’t do so without permisison. Thanks.
