As Lord Heseltine has the Conservative whip suspended, Tory MP Sir Nicholas Soames speaks utter sense in calling the action “bovine”
Prior to having the Conservative whip last night, Lord Heseltine stated: “[If I do lose the whip] the sun will come up tomorrow morning and I will have reserved my personal integrity.”
Adding that he still believed the Conservative Party was his “natural home,” Heseltine later spoke to Sky News and remarked: “They can take the whip but not my integrity… This is a betrayal of the younger generation… And am I supposed to sneak away around the corner? … It is time to stand up and be counted.”
He is completely right and when presented with the news, the truly sensible Conservative MP Sir Nicholas Soames – who yesterday announced he’d be running to replace the harridan vicar’s daughter Theresa May as Tory leader – went further and told Channel 4’s Jon Snow: “I think [taking the whip off Lord Helsetine] is a really stupid, bovine thing to do… I shall certainly go and have a very strong with the chief whip, whom I’m going to go and have a cup of tea with when I’ve finished talking to you. I think it’s a very silly thing to do… I’m going to have a full and frank exchange of views [with him] but without [throwing] coffee in his face.”

Me too….Heseltine is very conscious of his working class roots and tries to give the impression of being a bit of a Tory toff with a social conscience a la Ian Gilmour.

Unlike his brother, Rupert, N. Soames is an overweight slob who has achieved nothing. The idea of his running for the leadership is hilarious. He’s so fat he can hardly get off his fat arse
