Hilarious video of two elderly ladies driving a Lamborghini goes viral
Posted on YouTube earlier this month, a video of two grannies trying out a Lamborghini has taken the Internet by storm and been viewed 4.3 million times.
In the 3:11 minute short by “automotive story tellers” Donut Media, Peggy Glenn and Audrey Linden are seen taking a Lamborghini Murciélago for a spin round Los Angeles, California. “Here we go, baby!” shouts one after struggling to reverse the 2005 car out of her driveway. The other then chips in and suggests: “Maybe they should put us in the rose parade… This is going to be an adventure”.
The dynamic duo, like modern day versions of Thelma and Louise, then take to the roads but struggle to see out of the rear of the vehicle, attempt to put their shopping in the engine and then consider “doing what they do in Zimbabwe” and place their groceries on their head.
“The Lamborghini Queens” of Two Grannies, One Lambo are a classic. “Oh Lordy”: These giggling grannies need to be given their own show.

Glenmore, when one has bored for as many years and at such heady levels; one is inured to criticism – but this said, I applaud Matthew’s post, which brings to mind ‘Granny Takes a trip ‘, which was an iconic sixties men’s boutique on King’s Road – named for the Purple Gang’s cult song….
Glenmore, do you think we should try one out between us? We could take it in turns to race a Tornado or Typhoon down the runway. Naturally we would swap places with the pilot. That’s a bit more fun than Tesco.
