South Kensington ground floor flat for sale for the same price as Sol Campbell’s Georgian country house in Northumberland
Near Corbridge in Northumberland, former footballer Sol Campbell has been trying to sell Hallington Hall, a 10,489 square foot country house he shares with his interior designer wife, for £4.95 million (reduced from £6 million when it was first put on the market in 2015).
In London’s South Kensington, a similar sum would instead buy a much smaller 1,760 square foot ground floor flat in an area named after the Onslow baronets. Featuring its own street level entrance, the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property offered comes with a large reception room with direct access to communal gardens and a separate dining room.
Knight Frank seek £4.75 million ($5.8 million, €5.4 million or درهم21.3 million) for the ground floor apartment at 80 Onslow Gardens.
Both of them look lovely.
Sol Campbell has ruined the Georgian house and whoever redesigned the flat has the same taste as his ex lover Kelly Hoppen!
The apartment is surprisingly tasteful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The soccer player’s crib certainly isn’t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Knock it down!!!!!!!!!!
I love the apartment. It even has gardens! Beautiful exterior cannot beat the South Kensington apartment. Very roomy too. Kelly Hoppen decoration but can be changed to reflect some character. I really like it.
