A Jubilee Gem

Classically proportioned, picture perfect Chelsea townhouse offered for £10.5 million

A classically proportioned low-built house just off the Kings Road in Chelsea has gone on sale for £10.5 million ($15.4 million or €13.7 million).

Featuring 3,525 square foot of accommodation and arranged over four floors, 9 Jubilee Place is currently configured to provide 3 reception rooms, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. Ramped off-street parking leads to a single garage whilst there are gardens to the front and rear and a second floor roof terrace.

The house is offered for sale by Knight Frank and given it is one of the most charming properties in the area, we’d expect that this is a rare instance where there might well be a bidding war.

    1. Seems very good value compared to others in the vicinity – Just £2,978 per square foot.

      • The pricing per sq.ft in this part of London is odd. As you say, this seems to be on the low side for something f such quality in comparison to Knightsbridge. I sense an exodus from Knightsbridge into Chelsea proper as people tire of the Middle Eastern influence in K’bridge and Belgravia. We have White Flight. How would one define this sort of Flight…..Anglo Saxon Flight?

      • You plainly have utterly no conception of taste or style. Your own home must be quite hideous.

      • You really are quite repetitious and tedious. Can’t you at least attempt some originality?

          • Matthew, the Steeples Times is excellent and much appreciated.
Many of us will be glad to see the back of this fellow. He adds nothing and revels in being an annoying nuisance. All the negative perceptions of Australians are manifested in this boring clown.
As you say, this is a fine example of Chelsea architecture. It’s a pity this Australian lout cannot understand that.
