Kelly Brook’s stupidest statement (yet)
A contestant on The Apprentice, Stuart Baggs, once was derided after describing himself as “a brand”. This week, former Page Three girl Kelly Brook did just the same and in the process made herself look equally ridiculous.
In an Evening Standard feature relating to the launch of a venue named Steam & Rye that she opened on Wednesday with promoter Nick House, Brook responded to a question about why she was opening a restaurant “with a shrug”:
Two stories to keep beside you

Wally of the Week: Luisa Zissman
An attention seeker who needs to be removed from our screens A contestant on The Apprentice who stated that she has “the energy of a Duracell bunny, the sex appeal of Jessica Rabbit and a brain like Einstein” most definitely had to be our second Wally of the Week.

Wally of the Week: Nathalie Pulford
A self-publicist we’d rather not have heard about Our dislike for Speaker John Bercow is well known but equally ridiculous is a report in today’s Evening Standard about an incident between him and a Range Rover Sport driver named Nathalie Pulford in Ixworth Place, Chelsea.
“I am a brand. I’m a performer and an entertainer. This place is show-business… In LA it’s normal. Robert De Niro has Ago, an Italian with a gangland feel, where you’d imagine the mob going for pasta and red wine. Puff Daddy has a drinks company. This place is performance, Hollywood style, great music, sexy dancers, everything I do anyway. Just add burgers and cocktails”.

Brook is plainly delusional if she believes herself to be in the league of such internationally renowned figures but equally, that she continued “Bambi-eyed” to describe a cocktail named after Monica Lewinsky just about says it all:
“[It] will be a big seller. It’s an oral delight! … It’s a milky cocktail with a fab ice lolly in it and lots of other naughty things”.
Brook might consider herself amusing and a brand but truly the joke is only on her. For that very reason, we make her our most worthy Wally of the Week.
