Former Reddit interim CEO Ellen Pao is not just a wally, she’s married to a crook and has no place berating those who have rightly questioned her lacking abilities
In her resignation this week, Ellen Pao berated those who’d criticised her hapless tenure as interim CEO of the website that describes itself as “the front page of the Internet”, Reddit. In an article for The Washington Post, Pao claimed to have “fought the trolls in the trenches” and claimed to be “rooting for the humans over the trolls”. In reality, all she cared about was her own sorry career but surprisingly most coverage of her departure failed to mention that she is also the wife of Buddy Fletcher, a disgraced financier often nicknamed “The Black Madoff”.
Pao and her husband are typical of their breed. They lived in luxury in Connecticut, New York and San Francisco and presented themselves as intellectuals and philanthropists but clearly though both were achievers, this pair had a fatal flaw and that was greed. Miss Pao and her husband deserve no sympathy and should now simply stop moaning that others caused their downfall. It is time that this tawdry pair faded into obscurity.

This I agree with. You’re calling out hypocrisy, where some smug person passes themselves off as doing a great service to society, but really their success is measured (by themselves) by materialistic acquisitions and apparent popularity. That fact that most people find them rather nauseating and talentless doesn’t seem to get through to them.
