‘Friends’ actor Matthew Perry sells his Malibu hillside home
Actor Matthew Perry, most famous for his role in the cult series Friends, paid $6.55 million (£4.079 million) for his hillside home in Malibu, California is 2005. He’s periodically been trying to sell it since 2011 at prices as high as $13.5 million (£8.408 million) but has now relaunched it on the market at $12.5 million (£7.785 million).



Known as The Pier House, the property is situated at 3556 Sweetwater Mesa Road in Serra Retreat and was built in 1981. A “bold architectural statement” that boasts “spectacular and awe-inspiring ocean views”, the house sits on a plot of circa 2.5 acres and comprises of 3,677 square foot of accommodation. It includes 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and “open living areas”. In addition there are “expansive” decks, a “dramatic” swimming pool, a games room and a “home theater” (or “screening room” to our British readers).

Williamstown, Massachusetts born Perry is a dual American-Canadian citizen who has 975,000 followers on Twitter. He is selling The Pier House, one of a number of properties he is said to own in the area, through Greg Holcomb of The Partners Trust Real Estate Brokerage.
