This week, illustrating he isn’t being taken seriously elsewhere, Ian Maxwell turned to an obscure San Francisco news channel named KRON4 to tell yet more yarns about his mucky madam sex fiend sister.
In comments, subsequently shared only by the now little read website MSN, Mr Maxwell supposedly told KRON4’s Vicki Livakis:
“She wishes she had never met Jeff Epstein, and because the havoc that relationship has caused, not just Ghislaine, but really everybody that came in touch with him.”
“Basically, it was a stitch up from after Jeffrey Epstein died in US government custody when Bill Barr was Attorney General.”
“The only person to actually take the fall is Jeff Epstein, and he’s dead of course.”
“We don’t really know, the extent of what happened [on the night of 10th August 2019 at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York]. There, his own family thinks he was murdered. My sister thinks he was murdered.”
“If there are other people that have not yet come into the prosecution’s orbit, and who may be powerful people and don’t wish to be involved in this, somehow that they would find it. An ability to murder my sister or cause her to have an accident that looks like an accident but isn’t.”
“We are her family. We love her, we miss her, and we will support and defend her.”
Bizarrely also, Brian Basham, we can today reveal that the PR peddler the deviant daughter of the pension pot plunderer became so reliant on to push out piffle on her behalf prior to her conviction, has gone remarkably quiet in recent months. He appears to have given up on the paramour of his pen and left the donkey work to Ian and Kevin Maxwell instead.
In spite of threatening to confront me at the 2022 edition of CrimeCon in London (and then being a Cowary Custard no-show), Mr Basham seems to have given up on Twitter. As the Epstein-Maxwell saga continues to unravel, Matthew Steeples looks at the forthcoming fallout for ‘The Monsters’ linked including Prince Andrew, Steve Bannon, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Jes Staley
The rotten rabbit hole that is the Epstein-Maxwell saga seems to never end. Barely a day goes by without new developments or old ones being revisited and in the last week, the prospects of further fallout for linked parties has only grown.
Aside from Prince Andrew whingeing and whining via third parties that he has been left “bewildered” and “in despair” after King Charles III cut him off from access to the £650 million ($782 million, €735 million or درهم2.9 billion) estate left by Queen Elizabeth II, the non-sweating ‘bestie’ of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell is allegedly also ludicrously proposing a new television interview “telling his side” of the story. An unnamed source last week went as far as to claim now “feels there is little else to lose” and that “nothing is off the table… Andrew has been made to give up his job and now potentially his home.”
Turning to Maxwell and her appeal prospects, on Thursday The Guardian’s New York based ‘reporter of courts’ Victoria Bekiempis analysed the mucky madam’s prospects. Bekiempis argued Maxwell “faces [a] hard road in bid to overturn sex-trafficking conviction” with the help of her new lawyer, a representative also of Harvey Weinstein named Arthur L. Aidala.
Going further, Bekiempis added:
“[Aidala has] said Maxwell was a ‘proxy’ for Epstein who was prosecuted ‘to satisfy public outrage over an unpopular non-prosecution agreement and the death of the person responsible for the crimes’ … [His] comments might have been aimed more at generating sympathetic media coverage than being a predictor of the appeal’s likely success. Maxwell cannot mount an appeal based on her own claims that she was a hapless surrogate for Epstein, or too tired at trial.”
“Her legal team will have to argue instead that there were legal errors in proceedings against her that necessitate a verdict reversal, and that is where her bid to have her conviction overturned will succeed or – according to many legal experts – more likely fail.”
“‘The likelihood of the second circuit reversing her trial verdict is close to zero,’ said Ron Kuby, a longtime criminal defense attorney with a focus on civil rights. ‘The second circuit tends to uphold almost all criminal convictions as a general matter.’”
“In the rare cases the second circuit does reverse a trial court outcome, leading to a new trial, it is typically because prosecutors have over-stretched a legal theory – or because the US supreme court has made a decision that affects proceedings in lower courts, Kuby said.”
“‘But Maxwell’s trial was none of that – the Maxwell trial was all very well-plowed legal territory,’ Kuby said. The proceedings against Maxwell – which stemmed from serving as Epstein’s procurer of victims – were not complicated by racketeering counts, nor convoluted bribery charges.”
“‘It’s like very, very, very fancy trappings, but fundamentally, it’s the prosecution of a pimp, which is not that complicated,” Kuby said.”
“Rachel Fiset, co-founder of Los Angeles firm Zweiback, Fiset & Zalduendo, said she thought a successful appeal was ‘unlikely.’”
“While Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison, will probably fail in her appeal, there is still a reason for her to try.”
“‘She’s looking at a very long sentence, and they are looking at ways to have it overturned, and there are not any options beyond an appeal,’ Fiset said. ‘She doesn’t have very much to lose other than the cost of the appeal.’”
“‘It’s not uncommon for people with a lot of means to appeal their conviction in the hopes that it’s overturned. Maxwell has remained very steadfast that she has not committed these crimes and that it’s not her fault, so the appeal is not surprising.’”
Elsewhere, interest in Epstein and Maxwell’s involvement with Donald Trump was revived yesterday in Business Insider. In an article titled: “Jeffrey Epstein said he stopped hanging out with Trump ‘when he realised Trump was a crook,’ according to his brother,” writer Jacob Shamsian quoted the croaked paedophile’s sibling Mark Epstein.
Referencing a still to be released video interview between Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump’s disgraced White House advisor Steve Bannon, Shamsian shared:
“Mark Epstein told Insider he viewed a clip of the interview, conducted by Trump’s former White House advisor Steve Bannon, after his brother forwarded it to him in the spring of 2019.”
“At the time, Bannon was conducting filmed interviews with the now-dead pedophile financier. Bannon sent Jeffrey Epstein a Dropbox link to a clip, which he forwarded to his brother. The link is no longer active, according to Mark.”
“‘Jeffrey showed me the link to one of these interviews,’ Mark Epstein said. ‘And in that interview, Jeffrey said he stopped hanging out with Trump when he realised Trump was a crook.’”
“Insider has not been able to independently view the video. Bannon could not be reached for comment.”
“For the documentary project, Bannon recorded more than 16 hours of footage, Mark Epstein said. In November of 2018, the Miami Herald ran a series detailing how Jeffrey Epstein secured a secret, lenient plea deal with federal prosecutors in Florida in 2007, even after law enforcement concluded at the time that he had sexually abused more than 30 girls.”
“‘Steve Bannon was working with Jeffrey to try to help Jeffrey rehabilitate his reputation,’ Mark Epstein told Insider.”
“Bannon and Epstein had become close in 2017, after Bannon left the White House, according to the journalist Michael Wolff. Bannon lived lavishly off Epstein’s vast wealth, using his Paris apartment and butler in 2018.”
“Bannon released a trailer in 2021 for his apparent documentary about Epstein, titled The Monsters [subtitled: ‘Epstein’s Life Among The Global Elite’]. The entire documentary has not yet been released.”
“Both Bannon and Trump now have their own legal issues. The Manhattan district attorney’s office has pending criminal charges against Bannon, alleging he participated in a scam nonprofit organization that raised funds to build a wall on the US-Mexico border. Trump pardoned Bannon on federal charges for the same scheme before he left office. Bannon’s lawyers in the federal case are suing him for allegedly not paying his bills. Bannon was also found guilty last year of contempt of Congress for defying a House January 6 committee hearing subpoena.”
“Trump, for his part, is facing a potential indictment from the Manhattan district attorney’s office for a hush-money scheme ahead of the 2016 election, a rape case headed to trial in April, and a litany of other legal woes.”
Turning to the Department of Justice investigation into Epstein’s death, in a separate and rather lengthy article for Business Insider last Thursday, Shamsian observed:
“Jeffrey Epstein’s death in a federal jail was seen as a shocking Justice Department failure. Over three years later, the DOJ inspector general hasn’t released the results of its investigation. Epstein’s accusers – and his brother – still want answers.”
“The officials said Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide. Pressed for more detail, they just repeated themselves.”
“‘They didn’t give me any information other than ‘After a thorough investigation, we determined it was a suicide,’ Mark Epstein said. ‘It was like I was talking to a f**king robot.’”
“The meeting [on 28th October 2019, two months after his brother’s death] was the only time Mark got any answers from the DOJ about his brother’s death. Three years later, he still doesn’t know exactly how Epstein died and why it’s taken the government that long to share its answer to that question.”

It was taken at the now infamous Lenox Hill, New York ‘Paedo Palace’ where Jeffrey Epstein conducted so much of his abuse and it features the royal ratbag grinning like ‘The Cheshire Cat’ alongside the since croaked paedophile’s also since deceased maid, Jun-Lyn Fontanilla.
Epstein, at that stage, was a convicted sex offender who had been released from jail on 22nd July 2009 and one would have thought someone would have advised the son of the late Queen Elizabeth II that hanging around in places of perversion might not be a good idea.

Sarah, Duchess of York’s support for the Duchess of Sussex is another example of her backing the wrong horse. Jailed quite deservedly for 21 months on Friday for voyeurism, disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and harassment without violence, the Walthamstow born 33-year-old showed utterly no remorse as he arrived at Chelmsford Crown Court for sentencing for what he did to his ex-girlfriend and fellow reality television ‘personality’ Georgia Harrison on 2nd August 2020.
On arrival, Bear – who has also been required to sign the sex offender register and given a restraining order not to contact his victim for five years and also required to keep police updated with his address and whereabouts for ten years – filmed a segment subsequently shared on Twitter by his current squeeze, the self-declared “I’m Jess, your new favourite horny blonde” Jessica Smith.
In a 1:43-minute clip filmed by dimwitted dolly bird Smith and shared with her 117,600 followers, brain dead berk Bear delusionally declared:
“You see in this country, I think the saying is: ‘Innocent until proven guilty’ and unfortunately, through this whole turn of events, through the adverse media which has been printed and written about me, all they see me as this monster. So, how can you possibly give a fair trial just to adverse media?”
Adding a completely currently unproven as either true or false allegation, Bear continued:
“Secondly, at the very beginning, before the jury was picked, they were asked a series of questions and one person should be accountable for contempt of court. Hopefully, I can speak to the police about this and give them all the evidence.”
“You see, if you’ve got one bad apple, the whole jury should be slung out in my opinion.”
Attempting to very predictably play the Prince Harry “mental health issues” excuse, the convicted sex offender blubbed:
“And, do you know what, the only good thing that’s come from this whole situation is that I got a psychiatric report written about me and they’ve told me that I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD, depression and anxiety. So, hopefully I can get some treatment and some help, maybe some talking therapy. I just need some help really because going through mental health, I live through this every single day.”
Ending in a Spare-esque whinge, Bear concluded:
“I just hope I can speak to the news or something about what’s happened… I just hope I can give, just my side of the story. An honest, just my side of the story and hopefully it just comes out and it gives just a different opinion on me and hopefully we can spin the narrative… I can see everyone has already made their minds up about the narrative.”
Approached then by members of the press, in videos filmed by others including news presenter Dan Walker, Bear was seen to tell Smith “just keep recording babe” as he was asked by a journalist: “Do you wish to apologise to Georgia Harrison?”
Ignoring questions from her and others, the noxious nitwit continued:
“There’s no point me even answering any questions. As you can see everyone, this is it. Fingers crossed it goes well today and maybe I get some sort of justice from this whole situation. Thank you so much.”
Outrageously, then, after noticing a clearly very young female ‘fan’ standing amongst the press pack, Bear summoned her over by asking: “Do you want a picture? Do you want a selfie? Come then, come over. I’m a man of the people” just as another journalist stated: “You’ve been called a self-obsessed show-off. You’ll do anything to be front page. Do you have any response to that?”
He then gave the V-sign and proceeded to ask another female journalist dressed in a red coat: “What made you dress in red today?” before bizarrely singing: “Lady in red is talking to me, cheek to cheek, I wanna know why she’s by my side, my lady in red, lady in red, she’s talking to me, cheek to cheek. I wanna know why she’s by my side.”
“I love you [Stephen Bear]. I’ll always be by your side, stay strong babe. The truth will come out… You never had a fair trial.”
“Through thick and thin my love. I’ll see you soon.”
In a weepy whine of Meghan Markle-esque qualities, she then concluded last night:
“What event the point anymore? I’ve lost half of my heart. I feel empty.”

Matthew Steeples examines whether the recent suicide by gunshot of “the envy of Wall Street” billionaire Thomas H. Lee was in any way linked to a clear association with Bill Clinton and a possible one with Jeffrey Epstein
Thomas H. Lee did not appear in the 95-page infamous ‘Little Black Book’ associated with Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell. Now, however, after his apparent ‘suicide’ this billionaire financier has not only described as “considerate, generous and unpretentious” and a “constant presence” in her life by Hillary Clinton, but also as having “links” to Jeffrey Epstein.
Sparking rumours of yet another example of the ‘Clinton Body Count’ – the much disputed conspiracy theory that as many as fifty people with close links to the Clintons have died in nefarious circumstances – Stephen M. Lepore for the DailyMail.com shared a photograph of Lee at a New York shindig with another billionaire named Robert Kraft and a couple named Glenn and Eva Dubin. Swedish Ms Andersson-Dubin dated Jeffrey Epstein prior to his 2008 conviction and continued to “socialise with [him] after his time in jail,” Bloomberg reported in 2019.
The 78-year-old Harvard graduate and founder of Lee Equity Partners and Thomas H. Lee Partners was best known himself for having bought the soft drinks brand Snapple Beverages in 1992 for £112 million ($135 million, €127 million or درهم496 million) and sold it for a 334% profit to Quaker Oats for £1.4 billion ($1.7 billion, €1.6 billion or درهم6.2 billion) in 1994.
Known also for being an “avid art collector,” father of five Lee also served as a trustee of Lincoln Center, the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Jewish Heritage, Brandeis University, Cardozo Law School at Yeshiva University, Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, Harvard University, the Intrepid Museum Foundation, NYU Medical Center, and Rockefeller University.
In a statement currently opening the homepage of their website, Lee Equity Partners shared:

Going further on Monday, Fortune shared an article with the headline: “Thomas H. Lee’s sudden death shocks partners at his $3 billion private investment firm – with a $1 billion fundraise in the balance.”
For the publication, Dawn Lim and Amanda Gordon added:
“Since then, Lee Equity’s executives have been forced to confront a difficult moment. In at least one conversation, they discussed the importance of reassuring clients that there’s no connection between his death and Lee Equity’s financial health or fund performance.”
“Lee’s death has ushered in a new level of public attention for a shop that manages £2.5 billion ($3 billion, €2.8 billion or درهم11 billion) and doesn’t have a formal media-relations team. Crusading author Kirby Sommers follows up on the theories surrounding the mystery of the ‘murder v suicide’ death of Clinton-Epstein associate Mark Middleton
When looking for clues as to why Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein associate Mark Middleton – whose clearly strange demise featured in The Steeple Times earlier this week – suddenly decided to commit ‘suicide’ (in quotes because I personally believe he was murdered), I place it under what I refer to as my “Arkansas lenses.”
When Bill Clinton became Attorney General from 1977 to 1979 and then Governor of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 (and then again from 1983 to 1992), he was already involved with shady men and shady deals.
Mena, the small airfield in Arkansas, had been associated with the Washington-sponsored guns for drugs under the CIAs multiple covert operations. The most well-known connection is to the Iran-Contra affair; although Mena itself became infamous when it made into the Hollywood film American Made starring Tom Cruise in the role of drug-smuggler Barry Seal.
Mark Middleton belonged to the trusted group of men Clinton brought with him from Arkansas to Washington, D.C. During my research of Clinton’s time in Arkansas, state and local police were alleged to be corrupt answering only to him. There were consequences for those who went against him.
Middleton kept Clinton’s secrets – extra-marital affairs and other less talked about matters. This is evidenced by the fact that he is the person who gave Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell access to the White House seven out of the 17 times they are known to have visited the residence. Middleton also flew with Clinton, Epstein, Maxwell, and a couple of unidentified females aboard the now infamous ‘Lolita Express’ private jet.
Did Middleton know too much? Clearly, the answer is yes.
However, Middleton left the White House in 1995. This is where things take a turn, because while he was attempting to become an international dealmaker, he found himself suddenly barred and without access unless he obtained high-level approval. Formally, Middleton was the aid to presidential advisor Thomas F. ‘Mack’ McLarty. McLarty is one of Clinton’s oldest friends having attended the same kindergarten class in Hope, Arkansas.
While McLarty gave Middleton the bad news – it really came from Clinton.
After leaving his job, Middleton was initially allowed to continue using his business cards, had a voice-mail message on the White House telephone system and met with business clients at the dining room in the White House.
Clinton has been known to accept gratuities in exchange for his patronage. Did Middleton forget to thank him properly?
With his dreams of becoming a wheeler-dealer scratched, Middleton moved back to Arkansas and began a family owned air conditioning company.
It is my belief that were it not for the intense publicity the Epstein and Maxwell case received that Middleton would be alive today. After all, it had been a long time since he had accompanied Clinton anywhere.
Suddenly, however, the long-forgotten photos of Clinton shaking hands with Epstein and his lady-friend Maxwell were in newspapers around the world and his name was prominently displayed as the person who gave Epstein access.
Too many people, including Clinton, have much to hide about their involvement with Epstein.
On 7th May 2022, the 59-year-old Middleton was found hanging from a tree with an extension cord around his neck and a wound to the chest. His death was ruled a suicide. Was this a message to others to stay silent?

The “mysterious” death of Clinton-Epstein associate Mark Middleton may have been ruled suicide, but rumours that he was murdered are clearly not going away
“I’m not saying the Clintons kill people, I’m saying a lot of people around the Clintons turn up dead” remarked early Bill Clinton associate turned critic Larry Nichols after five people associated with them died in bizarre circumstances between 22nd June and 2nd August 2016.
Now, in spite of Zachary Stieber of The Epoch Times last week revealing that the death of the Bill Clinton aide Mark Middleton has now been officially ruled a suicide, suggestions that he was instead murdered are now again being recirculated by some with grave suspicions about this odd case.
59-year-old father of two Middleton – who was responsible for admitting Jeffrey Epstein to the White House on seven of the seventeen occasions the since croaked paedophile visited between 1993 and 1995 – is described on Wikipedia as having been an “Arkansas business leader, mutual friend of Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein, and former finance director for Clinton’s presidential campaign and later special assistant to Clinton.” He was found dead on 7th May 2022 at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, an hour west of Little Rock.
Before he died, Middleton, who was also assistant to Clinton chief of staff Thomas F. ‘Mack’ McLarty, is said to have texted his wife, Rhea. His messages supposedly told her that he had found “the perfect place for a nap in the sun.” He added: “You are a great mom and wide babe… Please be happy today and get some sun. It will make you feel better. I love you.”
“He had a gunshot wound to the chest and an extension cord wrapped around his neck. The cord was tied to the limb of a tree directly above his body.”
“Upon searching Middleton’s vehicle, officials found three boxes of buckshot and a gun case, but no weapon.”
Going further and adding immediate mystery that aroused suspicion, the Daily Mail emphasised the “no sign of a weapon” story whilst Clinton.news argued the death to be “baffling.”
Middleton – who is known to have flown on Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’ private jet on several occasions – left the White House in February 1995 and most recently worked for his family business in Little Rock. Of him, the DailyMail.com’s Daniel Bates alleged: “[He] was accused of setting himself up as an international deal-maker, exactly the kind of person that would appeal to Epstein… Middleton’s life in recent years was a world away from the power he enjoyed in the 1990s.”
Adding fuel to the fire of conspiracy last week, Bates added that the death scene was “grisly” and the method of death “mysterious.” He argued:
“The sheriff’s report into Mark Middleton’s mysterious death raises more questions than answers as it rules he died by suicide – despite no sign of the weapon that killed him.”
“Release of the report was held up after members of his family petitioned a judge. They were worried that pictures from the gory scene would be made public. The judge eventually ruled that details could be released but photographs could not.”
Middleton’s bizarre end continues to be discussed online. On the Wikipedia page devoted to the “Clinton body count conspiracy theory,” is a statement that reads: “The coroner’s report ruled the death a suicide even though he was tied to a tree and no weapon was found near the body.”
Countering this point, The Poynter Institute’s Politifact – which is funded by amongst others the billionaire Charles Koch and which was created by the Tampa Bay Times newspaper in 2007 – last week observed: “The family was ‘shocked’ by conspiracy theories that emerged Middleton’s death… We rate claims that a Clinton aide was murdered False.”

This morning, in predictable form given her chummy associations with both Ghislaine Maxwell and Sarah, Duchess of York, Daphne Barak penned piffle in The Mail on Sunday in which she suggested it unfair that Prince Andrew might be evicted from Royal Lodge, Windsor in September as part of a cost cutting exercise by King Charles III.
Quoting an unnamed source “close to the Duke of York” – whom one must assume to be her friend ‘Feckless Fergie’ – Barak shared:
“The Queen had barely been laid to rest when it began. Message after message, delivered through the anonymous Buckingham Palace machine, warning that life was about to change for Prince Andrew… and not for the better.”
“’They didn’t even wait ten days from the end of mourning the Queen,’ I was told by a source close to the Duke of York. ‘That’s when courtiers started to send them the bad news.’”
“And it was recently made clear to Andrew, still grieving, that the annual allowance he has received from the monarch since he left the Navy in 2001 was about to be severely reduced, possibly even axed, as soon as April.”
“His mother paid him the yearly subsidy, last reported to be £249,000, out of her own private fortune, enabling him to fund his family home at Windsor’s Royal Lodge.”
“Now the Prince – who I have been told is ‘distraught’ – may have no choice but to give up his home of 19 years as soon as September.”

Noxious nonce Ghislaine Maxwell complains that prison guards are “screwing” with her; she should be reminded she was the one who has been convicted after “screwing” her victims
Ghislaine Maxwell (AKA ‘prisoner 02879-509’) used to enjoy ‘screwing’ the young girls that she used to pick up to sex traffic to Jeffrey Epstein and her other creepy cronies. Now, the worm has turned and this noxious nonce is allegedly getting a ‘screwing’ by prison guards at FCI Tallahassee, the supposedly “cushy country club-esque” prison where she deservedly will rot for the rest of her twenty-year sentence.
Yesterday in the DailyMail.com, Daniel Bates shared a supposed “exclusive” in which a “prison consultancy company” founder named Holli Coulman told him that guards are “not easy” on Maxwell and that she has been forced to “keep close to her pod mates.”
Going further, Coulman, the founder of Pink Lady Consultants and a woman “who has a number of clients serving time inside the same prison,” added:
“She rarely associates out of that group. I am told that the guards like screwing with her by shining their lights at night, clanging their keys and talking really loud and derogatory at her. I know that the guards at night are not easy on her when they come by her bunk and check that she’s there.”
“They don’t like her because of her entitled attitude. I’m sure it’s something she can’t change as she has a different demeanor than let’s say an inmate serving time for drugs. Her upbringing was upper class.”
Clearly not content with buckling down and getting on with her sentence silently, mucky madam Maxwell has not stopped moaning since her arrest on 2nd July 2020 in Bradford, New Hampshire.
Earlier, in April that year, the mendacious madam’s family complained she was being deprived of sleep, her hair was falling out and that she “was being treated worse than Hannibal Lecter.” The Metropolitan Detention Center responded to these clear falsehoods by declaring: “[We have] not observed the defendant experience any noticeable hair loss… Most recently, when the defendant was weighed last week, her weight was 137.5 pounds… [Maxwell wears an eye mask and] regularly sleeps through night-time wellness checks.”
In the time since, “boob groper” Maxwell has had her PR peddlers out complaining also. In May 2022, Ian Maxwell bleated: “There are nasty Internet trolls out there continuing the lynch mob against her… [Her] once-close friends have only disowned her because of cancel culture” whilst quite rightly, at sentencing in June 2023, United States attorney Damian Williams observed:
“Ghislaine Maxwell sexually exploited young girls for years. It is difficult to overstate the magnitude of her crimes and the harm she caused… The lenient sentence the defendant seeks would send the message that there is one system of laws for the rich and powerful, and another set for everyone else.”
“Maxwell was an adult who made her own choices… If anything stands out from the defendant’s sentencing submission, it is her complete failure to address her offense conduct and her utter lack of remorse. Instead of showing even a hint of acceptance of responsibility, the defendant makes a desperate attempt to cast blame wherever else she can.”
“Moreover, even now, at sentencing, the defendant has shown no acceptance of responsibility, and her submission fails to even mention, much less accept responsibility for, the harm she has caused her victims. Instead, her entire submission is an effort to cast herself as a victim: of her father, of Epstein, of the media, of prosecutors, of the Bureau of Prisons.”
Illustrating further that the ‘bestie’ of Prince Andrew had no concept of accepting what she had done and that all that this “remorseless” woman ever does is moan and groan, Williams added:
“At bottom, the defendant’s complaints about jail seem to come down to the vast gulf between the conditions of her confinement and the defendant’s lived experience up until her arrest and detention on July 2, 2020.”
“Until July 2020, the defendant spent her entire life living in extraordinary luxury. Her childhood and adolescence were filled with wealth and privilege. That access to wealth continued into adulthood when the defendant found a benefactor in Epstein, who provided her with millions of dollars and invited her to share in his luxurious lifestyle of mansions, house staff, private chefs, and private planes.”
“After leaving that relationship, the defendant remained exceptionally wealthy, residing in palatial estates and owning multiple homes. It is no wonder, then, that she found jail jarring. Going from being waited on hand and foot to incarceration is undoubtedly a shocking and unpleasant experience.”
“The massive difference between the defendant’s prior life and the life of an inmate may feel extreme to the defendant, but when compared to the experiences of other pretrial detainees in this District, her experience is by no means so shocking as to merit a downward variance.”
“If anything, the defendant’s privilege remained intact while at the MDC, as demonstrated by the exceptional benefits she received. She was the sole inmate on the second floor of the jail, was fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and was allowed more time to communicate with her legal representatives than other inmates. Michael Parker (AKA Michael Barrymore) – Allegedly loudly said: “I need a f**k” in a taxi as he left the Millennium Nightclub to return to his home, the scene of the death of Stuart Lubbock. Barrymore later lied to a coroner’s court about facilitating drug taking at his house on the night in question also.
Barrymore claimed to have been first to have discovered the body of Stuart Lubbock at 5.45am, called his manager Mike Brown before the ambulance arrived and then left the premises. He admits that was “wrong” and also bizarrely told Piers Morgan that in spite of “knowing others were hiding secrets about what happened to Mr. Lubbock” that “I am not going to say their names. I just hope they are brave enough to come forward one day.”
Mike Brown – Agent of Michael Barrymore. Called to the property before emergency services arrived.
Kelly Campbell – Had met Michael Barrymore for the first time on the night of the incident. Claimed not to have been aware of what happened.
James Futters (sometimes spelt ‘Futers’) – A paper boy turned chef. Described as “a local from the village” and a “friend and neighbour of Barrymore.” Claimed to have been the first to discover the body with Simon Shaw and stated: “[It was not] Michael Barrymore and not Jonathan Kenney [who found him].” Later, of him the Evening Standard reported: “Barrymore offered James Futters a white powder on his finger saying: ‘Do you want to try this?’ Mr Futters told the inquest that he leaned forward and licked the powder.”
Claire Jones – Then aged 17. Had met Michael Barrymore for the first time on the night of the incident. Claimed not to have been aware of what happened but told the police that she “saw Barrymore rummaging through drawers and changing his clothes before police arrived. When he left the house, he had a ‘bundle of material’ under his arm,” according to the Evening Standard. “She added: ‘Jonathan (Kenney) was rushing through the bungalow before the ambulance and police arrived. I got the impression he was hiding something.’”
Jonathan Kenney – Estate agent, drag queen and Michael Barrymore’s then lover; later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged; known for having a “record of violence.” Claimed to have been the first to have discovered the body and is now aged 50.
Justin Merritt – A dustman from Essex. Later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged. Later paid £30,000 by the News of the World for an interview in which he stated Barrymore had “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died.”
Kylie Merritt – Sister of Justin Merritt. She also alleged Barrymore “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died” (curiously in the wake of her brother selling his account of the night).
Simon Shaw – Described as “a local from the village.” Michael Barrymore supposedly “ran off” to Mr. Shaw’s house to “buy himself thinking time [for two hours] before he was questioned by the police [at 7.49am].”
In addition, others, who’ve never been identified could also have possibly been present. If they were, they should come forward or be named by those listed above.
