Fiona Bruce shows herself to be a most worthy replacement for David Dimbleby on the BBC’s ‘Question Time’; we need more like her
Fiona Bruce and Philip Mould made for a brilliant double act on the BBC’s Fake or Fortune and now, going it alone, she’s proved her worth yet again in taking over Auntie’s Question Time programme.
Debuting on the show last night, Bruce took no prisoners and at one point rightly told Theresa May’s mouthpiece James Cleverly MP: “Sometimes you have to stop talking and listen.” She then curtly added: “I asked you what your plan [for Brexit] was and you said you were going to tell me. Have I missed it?”
Praised universally on social media, Fiona Bruce last night achieved brilliance whilst other interviewers and hosts fail: This Singaporean born Scot ran this political discussion with a rod of iron and we salute her.
