Amongst other speakers present during the two day event will be the ex-chief crown prosecutor Nazir Afzal OBE, the forensic psychologist Kerry Daynes, the author Lynda La Plante, the broadcaster Anita Rani, the investigative journalist John Sweeney, the Don’t F**k With Cats star Deanna Thompson, the broadcaster Denise Welch and the investigative journalist Mark Williams-Thomas.

In addition, the conference will feature live shows, immersive experiences including crime scene recreations, a shopping area, drinks parties and a dinner.

Launched in the US in 2017, the gathering has previously “attracted thousands of visitors,” according to the Mirror. It “features criminologists, ­pathologists, detectives, documentary makers [and] podcasters” and all attendees must be over 18 years old.
