‘Palestine on a Plate’ author and chef Joudie Kalla to host a supper club at The Phene in Chelsea on 10th May 2016
On Tuesday 10th May from 7.15pm, author and chef Joudie Kalla will host her next Palestine on a Plate supper clubs in the private room of The Phene in Chelsea.
Featuring what Kalla describes as “a selection of lighter dishes as the summer is approaching, [yet] still filled with incredible flavour and diversity”, those attending will get to try an eight-course Palestinian meal and to experience something truly authentic.

Starters
Adas wa Ruz – Slow cooked red split lentils and rice stew with lemon, toasted parsley and caramelised onions (served with taboon bread, spring onions, radish and Tabasco)
Spiced coriander chickpeas with red onions and chilli vinegar dressing
Shaved fennel, pink lady apple salad with sweet dill vinaigrette
Roasted cauliflower with tahini tarator, olives, chilli and red onions
Main course
Za’atar chicken served on herby maftoul
Tomato onion and parsley salad
Dessert
Halawet il Jiben – Sticky sweet cheese and cream wraps drizzled in orange blossom and rose water syrup with crushed pistachios
