Kind of ironic and shows how sad politics has become! .. So now we want people who have phrases like “Smirnoff Ice is the drink of the Gods” to be representing us and shows how bloody stupid and immature this person is! ……
I’m also slightly concerned that they have chosen to describe her as “a lesbian and bible reader”, I was pretty sure people should have been voting for her based on policies not sexuality but that seems to be the most important in describing her! And maybe the bible is the wrong book for her to be reading as it doesn’t condone lesbianism, football or praying to false gods who drink Smirnoff Ice!

I neither share her politics or beliefs but she stood up to be counted and was, and won. well done. she is young; you all were once. she brings a freshness to parliament and a credibility that parliament has so often lacked. you may not agree with her politics, but at least acknowledge her achievement and the fact that she is entering a world that most 21 year olds would so fear. good luck to the lass.
