The nephew of Christian Roberts, the actor and former owner of the Lone Star in Barbados, Andrew Roberts is a historian and journalist. London born and twice married, Roberts lives in New York and was a strong supporter of the War on Iraq. His subjects have numbered Chamberlain, Churchill and Salisbury and he is also much respected for his roles on the boards of many think-tanks and pressure groups.
