As Rolf Harris loses first conviction appeal, we call for him to be stripped of his CBE

On Friday, sex offender Rolf Harris lost his first appeal against his conviction for 12 indecent assaults on four girls, including one aged just seven or eight.

Harris lodged his appeal in August with the Judicial Office and today his application was refused. The 84-year old still has the option to renew the application before three judges at the Court of Appeal but it is time that he did the decent thing.

Rolf Harris – who now faces a new investigation into allegations made against him since his conviction – needs to accept his guilt and apologise to his victims. It is also time that he was stripped of his CBE; this monster needs to be airbrushed from history.
