Monster Raving Loony Party candidate brings a note of humour to the 2015 General Election campaign in posing Ed Miliband style with a bacon sandwich
Ed Miliband proved he couldn’t eat a bacon sandwich on camera in 2014 but, this week, Dame Jon Dixon, The Official Monster Raving Loony Party candidate for Hove and Portslade, illustrated the way to consume one a little more gracefully.
Taken by a photographer named Gareth Fuller, the image was captured during a visit to the constituency by the BBC. Given that the prospect an Ed Miliband-led government remains on the cards, we make this image our Picture of the Week as a reminder of the sheer lunacy that is potentially approaching the horizon.
