Will the last person to leave please turn off the lights?

The Euro election results clearly identified that we have become a nation of voters who speak from the knee rather than the brain. We have empowered a group of people with no real influence and it seems we almost favour a return to the 1970s. The only “mainstream” swing was a vote for Labour – yet another party funded by unelected trade unions: Miliband can vouch for that.

The underlying message is that at present there is no leader currently in charge of a political party who can actually command any respect either here or across the channel.

Angela remains in charge and we remain a protest vote that will eventually serve no purpose at all. What a joke and it’s on us as the voting populace of the UK. No wonder the Scots now favour leaving and prophetically I ask: “Will the last person left please turn off the lights?” so at least we won’t have to keep spending money debating the validity of wind farms. It’d be better just to seal Westminster so that we could capture the hot air contained within that decaying edifice.
