Forces sweetheart Dame Vera Lynn shares her thoughts on coronavirus and urges the public to “pull together”
Fresh from having beaten a gin company who tried to trademark the singer’s name for its drink in December, Dame Vera Lynn has stepped into urge Britons to “weather the storm” of the coronvarius crisis by “pulling together.”
Urging people to “keep calm and follow sensible advice,” the forces sweetheart suggested people “remain positive” and “look after each other.”
Dame Vera is spot on and her wise words should be heeded.

Yes wise words indeed. I was shocked last week to see the fighting in the supermarket, and no thought for older people trying to get a few bits and pieces. People need to stop panic buying there is enough for all as long as you only buy what you need.
Dame Vera is an inspiration to us all. A truly wonderful person.
