A Daimler previously owned by The Queen goes for £25,000 more than its lowest estimate

A Daimler formerly owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II that we featured last month was auctioned yesterday by Historics at Brooklands. It was expected to go for £20,000 to £30,000 but went under the hammer for £45,360.

Some £20,000 shy of the £65,000 price the car was marketed at in 2010, we wonder if do wonder if Brenda herself put in a bid.
