Eyeing a Roller

Rolls-Royce that belonged to the inventor Percy Shaw for sale Yorkshireman Percy Shaw OBE (1890 – 1976) was a true eccentric and even the configuration of his Rolls-Royce cars were far from conventional.

Hardly used and having covered just 9,072 miles from new, this car was the first Series IV Corniche built in the last year of production. It is described by RM Sotheby’s as being in “as-new condition” and “one of the finest late-production Corniches surviving”. As they also add: “Truly great design never grows old”.
