    More Money For Operation Grange – Is ‘Missing’ Madeleine McCann Search To Get Top-Up On £14m Already Wasted?

    As a girl brought up in Poland goes on ‘Dr Phil’ to claim to be Madeleine McCann, why is Operation Grange likely to receive a top-up on the £14 million already wasted? Why not help fund the search for other missing people instead?

    A Twitter poll still running by The Steeple Times’s Matthew Steeples this morning stands at around 95% in favour of the Home Office ending funding to Operation Grange – the investigation into the ‘disappearance’ of Madeleine McCann.

     

    Established on 12th May 2011 after the daughter of doctors Gerry and Kate McCann went missing in Praia da Luz, Portugal on 3rd May 2007 aged just three years old, the Metropolitan Police Specialist Crime Command unit ‘investigative review’ became an ‘investigation’ subsequently.

     

    Funded to the tune of the astonishing sum of nigh on £14 million to date in spite of finding nada, nowt, nothing, the Daily Mail’s Elizabeth Haigh this morning shockingly claimed: “Police probing disappearance of Madeleine McCann ‘are set to get hundreds of thousands of pounds in new funding.’”

     

    Going further, Haigh added:

     

    “A significant sum has been requested by the Met Police and is likely to be approved by the Home Office, The Sun reports.”

     

    “Each year hundreds of thousands of pounds are spent on attempts to find her… A source close to the ongoing investigation last night said her parents would be ‘delighted’ with the news. The source said: ‘This is excellent news. Maddie’s parents Kate and Gerry will be delighted. It gives fresh hope.’ There had been fears the probe into the toddler’s case could be cut back amid budget cuts.”

     

    At a time when the general public are enduring poverty, food banks and struggling due to the cost of living crisis, this is frankly outrageous and turning to such, former Metropolitan Police detective Peter Bleksley was quite rightly quoted as stating:

     

    “As long as there are unanswered questions I can see why there is a case. But, in this time of squeezed budgets, I can also see why eyebrows would be raised. I understand the frustrations of missing children who do not have the luxury of such ongoing funding.”’

     

    Elsewhere this weekend, a woman claiming to be the ‘disappeared without a trace’ now 19-year-old has appeared on the American talk show Dr Phil to claim: “I believe I’m Madeleine McCann.”

     

    Julia Wendell – a young lady brought up in Poland andgenerally assumed to have – “really believes” she could be Kate and Gerry’s McCann’s “long-lost child after recognising Kate McCann’s voice,” according to LBC.

     

    Miss Wendell – who is being bizarrely aided by a medium and private investigator named Dr Fia Johansson – is “currently awaiting the results of a genetic test and submitted three DNA samples and a genetic test, which will help determine her ancestry.” She stated:

     

    “A lot of you ask why Kate and Gerry are not involved. There is no need. Madeleine McCann’s DNA is already there. They don’t need to get involved with media press.”

     

    “I want to say something to Kate McCann: I listened to a song that you sang to your daughter Madeleine. When I hear your voice – from movies, from interviews – I feel like I really know this voice, your voice. I really believe that I could be Madeleine.”

     

    Miss Wendell “wants to be part of the [McCann] family;” God help her.

Shouldn’t £££ go towards searching for other missing people instead?” As of 11:30am on Monday 27th March 2023, over 90% of respondents unsurprisingly favoured the answer: “Yes; fund finding others.” The Metropolitan Police and Home Office should, but likely won’t pay attention.

    In 2009, private investigators for Gerry and Kate McCann issued an E-FIT to the media of a woman they believed could be “potentially significant” to their investigation. She has never been found, but, speculation online (entirely unproven as accurate thus far) has regularly included: “She looks remarkably like Ghislaine Maxwell.” There is no suggestion that this is one and the same woman, but it would be ever so helpful if the convicted nonce sex trafficker Miss Maxwell came forward and cleared this up for once and for all.

    In December 2017, when £11 million of British taxpayers’ money had been spent towards the search for ‘missing’ Madeleine McCann, 86% of viewers of ITV1’s ‘Loose Women’ said the public purse should cease to fund the investigation. Now, in January 2023, with that sum now well in excess of £14 million (aside from the millions in private money also), it is time to allocate resources to the search for missing people who actually can be found, we would suggest. Shouldn’t 2023, when many suffer because of the cost-of-living crisis, be the time that this pointless waste of funds finally ends?

    Missing Madeleine – Questions STILL without Answers… £14 million wasted on Operation Grange… Why continue? Why waste more? Why not help others?

    Many questions about what happened on the evening of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann remain. Some that have been highlighted by the press and discussed online include:

     

    • Why did Kate McCann refuse to answer 48 questions put to her by the Portuguese police?

     

    • Why were certain records of phone calls on the evening of the disappearance “whoosh-clunked” from the memories of the phones of Mr and Mrs McCann and the ‘Tapas 7’?

     

    • Why were relevant mobile phone records never handed over to the authorities in spite of them potentially being useful to the search?

     

    • Why did the couple not use the babysitting service on offer in the holiday resort on the evening of 3rd May 2007 when they went out on the razzle dazzle with friends?

     

    • Why was the door to the apartment – which opened directly onto a public highway – left unlocked with three children aged under three years old alone inside?

     

    • Why did a British sniffer dog sense the smell of a corpse in a cupboard in the apartment from which Madeleine McCann disappeared?

     

    • Why did a sniffer dog also supposedly sense the smell of a corpse in a vehicle hired by the couple a month after the disappearance of their daughter?

     

    • Why did the McCanns repeatedly try to discredit the work of the sniffer dogs and their handlers?

     

     

     

    • Why have the McCanns attempted to ‘gag’ anyone who disputes their version of events – most especially Gonçalo Amaral?

     

    • Why, given over £14 million has been spent on this search to date, has nobody come forward with any sighting of ‘missing’ Madeleine McCann given the very, very substantial rewards on offer?

    Intimidation Tactics At Work… Luke Mitchell’s Mother’s Caravan Storage Site Burnt To Ground

    Matthew Steeples asks: “Are intimidation tactics at work with a suspected arson attack on the caravan storage site formerly owned by the mother of Luke Mitchell?” and speaks with Dr Sandra Lean and Shaun Attwood about this most curious case

    On Friday, the caravan storage site formerly owned by Corrine Mitchell, the mother of Luke Mitchell, was mysteriously torched.

     

    Whilst Mrs Mitchell, whose son was convicted of killing his then girlfriend Jodi Jones in 2003, no longer owns the aforementioned property in Midlothian, that it was likely the subject of an arson attack is indicative of how passions continue to run high in a case where many believe the wrong man was convicted.

     

    Speaking exclusively to The Steeple Times on Saturday evening, Dr Sandra Lean remarked:

     

    “Almost twenty years after the murder of 14-year-old Jodi Jones in Easthouses, Midlothian, a building was set ablaze in a nearby field on Friday, 17th March 2023. Gas bottles inside the building could be heard exploding from half a mile away and residents in houses directly across the street were terrified – there was a petrol station right next door.”

     

    “But what do the two events – the murder of Jodi Jones and the burning of an apparently random building, have in common? On the surface, nothing. The building and the land on which it sits belong to the local council. But that is now. Until just over two years ago, the building was the former shop and workshop of a caravan sales business – Scotts Caravans – belonging Corinne Mitchell – the mother of the boy convicted of Jodi’s murder, Luke Mitchell.”

     

    “Luke has always protested his innocence, but, such was the level of hostility and hatred instigated by the media coverage of the case, both at the time and over the years since, that Scotts Caravans was targeted repeatedly.”

     

    “After Luke was convicted, a deliberately started fire destroyed a large number of caravans stored at the site. After his appeal failed, another fire destroyed the remainder. Corinne Mitchell, who was never convicted of any wrongdoing – whose only ‘crime’ was continuing to try to tell the world that her son was innocent – lost everything. Her home, her business, her son, her health.”

     

    “She was, after her son, the most hated person in the area. In the end, she was homeless and penniless, living in the corrugated tin building that had once been the shop and workshop area of her thriving business. For six years, she lived there with no electricity, no running water, no toilet, no heating and no money.”

     

    “When Channel Five filmed a documentary about the case – and the horrific circumstances in which Corinne was living – Midlothian Council finally housed her. The documentary attracted a huge amount of new – and this time, positive – attention to the case.”

     

    “Local people were furious to discover they had been misled as the truth about the case began to be exposed – dishonesty by witnesses close to the victim’s family which deflected attention from them and guided it towards Luke. It was easy to do back in 2003 – the media decided, from the off, that he was Jodi’s killer, naming and photographing him, at the age of just 15, telling readers he was ‘the only suspect.’ Two ex-detectives in the documentary concluded otherwise – there were, they discovered, others much closer to the victim’s family, who should have aroused far more suspicion than Luke Mitchell.”

     

    “For two years, debates have raged about this case, both locally and throughout Scotland. But in December last year, more wrongdoing was exposed – this time, Police Scotland were caught, red-handed, destroying evidence that could have taken the case back to the court of appeal and seen the conviction of Luke Mitchell overturned. Local attention turned to those identified in the documentary as other, potential ‘persons of interest.’ Those people fought back – there have been reports of threats, harassment and intimidation by those people, towards people now speaking out in support of Luke. Tensions, once again, were running high.”

     

    “And then, on Friday, the last remaining reminder of Scotts caravans was set alight. Locals took to social media in droves, concluding that this was an act of outright intimidation, intended to scare those fighting to have the case re-examined, into silence. To hurt and punish Corinne Mitchell again, for having the audacity to stand by her son. If that was the intention, it did neither. While the symbolism wasn’t lost on many, ultimately, an old, abandoned building belonging to the council was burned to the ground and the campaign to have Luke Mitchell’s case re-examined carries on unhindered.”

     

    Going further and also speaking exclusively to The Steeple Times this morning, the podcaster Shaun Attwood very clearly added:

     

    “Everyone I have interviewed who has been in prison with Luke Mitchell has stated that they truly believe he is innocent.”

     

    Today, I join with those demanding further investigation into this matter. Whether he is innocent or guilty, the potentially unsafe case of the conviction of Luke Mitchell requires a complete reinvestigation.

    Matthew Steeples suggests Jim Davidson should admit he got it wrong in suggesting returned to jail paedophile Gary Glitter was a “remorseful’ man who “looked ready to start a new life”

    This morning, the washed-up wazzock and all-round scumbag that is Jim Davidson OBE was trending on Twitter after an interview with the ‘Mouth of the Sewer’ that is GB News’ Dan Wootton last night.

     

    Whilst Davidson – a foul-mouthed ‘5×3’ (five kids by three of his five wives) – used the interview to bang on about “smug” Gary Lineker and how he “never particularly felt welcome” at the BBC, he neglected to comment on his thoughts on the real trending news, that of the filthy paedophile Gary Glitter being returned to jail after just 38 days in a bail hostel after breaching his licence terms.

     

    Glitter – who was caught and photographed by another bail hostel resident using a smartphone to access the ‘Dark Web’ via something called ‘The Onion’ to attempt to snare further victims – had been visited by Davidson at the Isle of Wight prison where he was then housed by the former supermarket shelf-stacker Davidson in 2019.

     

    Afterwards, in June 2021, Davidson shockingly and rather casually shared of his child abusing ‘chum’:

     

    “I spoke to Paul [Gadd, AKA ‘Gary Glitter’] when I visited The Verne [prison] two years. He’s remorseful and he looked ready to start a new life.”

     

    Instead of remarking on this very, very clear ‘error of judgment,’ speaking to Dan Wootton on GB News yesterday regarding the BBC’s #GaryGate debacle, Davidson raged:

     

    “My political interest was cast upon me way before at Thames Television when I had The Jim Davidson Show and a man called John Howard Davis, who was a BBC producer, turned up and got rid of me and Benny Hill overnight.”

     

    “And then, about a year later, I got a little cassette, a VHS, dropped on my desk by my manager and it [sic] said: ‘The BBC want you.’”

     

    “I said: ‘What’s that?’ They [sic] said: ‘They want you to do this, it’s some rotten show about snooker, so me and John Virgo went and did that show and I never particularly felt welcome there.”

     

    “I was a smell under peoples’ noses and then one day Bruce Forsyth went sick and I stepped in and did The Generation Game. I replaced him just for a day and I wasn’t particularly good, but it made Bruce get better very quick.”

     

    “When he went to do his new deal, they said: ‘No, we’ve got Jim Davidson’ and I did The Generation Game for seven years. I did The Big Break for twelve seasons and seven seasons of The Generation Game.”

     

    “Now look at the BBC. I’m totally erased; I am the statue that’s thrown into Bristol Docks… They gave me a million quid to go away. I had a contract with a million quid’s worth of wages and they said: ‘We’ll give you a million quid if you go away; please don’t tell anyone,” but I told you ‘Danny Boy’ [Dan Wootton].”

     

    “I was worse [than anything else] because I was a working-class Tory. I was a traitor and I like to mess about and have a laugh and be rude and stuff on the rehearsals and it was all pretty much frowned upon.”

     

    “They’re more concerned in being woke and ticking boxes. You know, ticking boxes; the man said to me: ‘We have to have 8.9% ethnic minorities on every show’ and so if you couldn’t get anybody that wanted to come on Big Break who was of non-white persuasion, you had to go out and kidnap some poor bugger and throw him in.”

     

    “You know, err, it was daft and do you know what I learnt there, and I’ve been in the business forty-seven years… I’m nearly one-hundred… So, you learn a thing or two about the BBC and it’s full of people that don’t know how to make programmes. I had to tick a box and I had to be silly.”

     

    “Now, I wouldn’t have thrown Lineker off like that and having a boss called Tim. Now come on, how scary is a Tim?”

     

    “Now, anyway, you wouldn’t throw someone off; just turn them off. I can understand that it’s taxpayers’ money and I hate the BBC with a passion. It’s a toss-up between them and the NHS who I hate the most, but I, you know, I wouldn’t have got rid of him because now Tim’s shown himself as lily livered.”

     

    “[Lineker] can now say what he wants, can’t he? He’s won and he’s going to be even smugger. Smug, smugger.”

     

    “It’s upto Tim and all those silly people [what the BBC does next] and now they want to get rid of the chairman ‘cos he arranged some loan or helped Boris [Johnson]. Now, everyone’s just picking on one another. I think the BBC have lost the public; they’ve lost the dressing room.”

     

    “You know, who do we watch now? GB News, anything but BBC. What does the BBC stand for? ‘Bring Back Corbyn,’ ‘Bring Back Communism.’”

     

    “You know, it is a joke and we have to pay for it whether we like it or not. You know, let’s scrap it and watch GB News all day long.

     

    Responding, this morning on Twitter, I asked:

     

    “As Jim Davidson trends, should he apologise for his June 2021 remark: “I spoke to Paul Gadd [Gary Glitter] when I visited The Verne [prison] two years ago. He’s remorseful and he looked ready to start a new life” given the paedo has been recalled to prison after being caught on Dark Web?”

     

    Other Twitter users took up the mantle and amongst comments were:

     

    “I wonder if Jim Davidson still believes that Gary Glitter is remorseful and ready to start a new life?”

    “Fun Fact: For years the BBC didn’t give a flying sh*t about their right-wing so-called ‘comedian’ Jim Davidson’s racist/misogynistic stage show when he was hosting their flagship Saturday night show ‘The Generation Game’ #IStandWithGaryLineker.”

     

    All that Glitters is not gold; all that is Jim Davidson is utterly toxic and now it is time for the latter to apologise for getting it well and truly wrong about one of the most evil men ever to set foot on this planet.

    The day that nobody, nowhere hoped would ever arrive did arrive this morning when the paedophile Gary Glitter was released from HMP The Verne – a low security category C jail in Portland, Dorset.

     

    Shockingly allowed out after serving just half of his 16-year sentence for abusing three schoolgirls aged between “younger than 10 years old” to 13 years old, the former ‘pop star’ – whose real is Paul Gadd – will be “subject to licence conditions,” The Guardian reported at 10.45am.

     

    In a “world exclusive” on 20th December, The Steeple Times reported that Gadd had left residents of Margate, Kent “furious” after rumours had begun to spiral that the 78-year-old monster could be moving to a town better known for its connections to artists Tracey Emin and J. M. W. Turner and most recently the hit film Empire of Light.

     

    Speaking at the time to The Steeple Times on condition of anonymity about what they knew about this very inappropriately titled Do You Wanna Touch Me singer-songwriter possibly relocating to this seaside resort, raged:

     

    “It is disgusting that this filthy creature might be allowed to live in the proximity of adults let alone children in a built-up urban area where there are many young families.”

     

    “I’ve had it on good authority that the sick bastard Glitter has been allowed out on day release trips and as part of his preparation for freedom, Margate has been placed on the agenda as being somewhere he could live. I was even told he visited recently to have a gander.”

     

    “As a grandmother, I’m furious and I want answers. I know he’s got to live somewhere, but we just don’t want filth here and I can assure you, mark my words, there’ll be hell to pay if he does turn up in any local shop, café, bar or restaurant.”

     

    We did subsequently followup with His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service at their Clive House, 60 Petty France, London headquarters for comment, but were met with a decline. A representative, who declined to give their name, remarked: “We cannot discuss individual cases” before curtly hanging up; they most definitely didn’t, however, add: Hello, Hello, [Call] Back Again.

     

    Today, going further, The Steeple Times urges readers in Margate and beyond to stay well clear of this monster. He may have served his latest sentence, but this prolific offender has previously been convicted of abusing children in Cambodia and Vietnam and for possessing 4,000 child pornography images also. They say a “leopard never changes its spots” and in the case of the Easy Evil singer Paul Gadd, here is someone who should forever just be marked as sheer evil.

    Yesterday the Express’s Sophie McCabe revisited the relationship between Prince Andrew and his late “bestie,” the since croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

     

    Examining comments by The Diana Chronicles author and former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown (also known as Lady Evans CBE), McCabe stated:

     

    “Prince Andrew was first introduced to Jeffrey Epstein in 1999 by his friend and now-convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. The Duke of York went on vacations with both Epstein and Maxwell, invited them to royal residences and visited the disgraced financier on his private island. According to royal author and expert Tina Brown, the prince was an ‘easy mark’ for Epstein.”

     

    “Ms Brown, the creator of The Daily Beast, met Epstein in the Noughties. When her publication was about to publish the first of what would be six detailed investigative reports exposing his role in sex-trafficking young girls, he unexpectedly turned up at her office.”

     

    “In her book, The Palace Papers, she describes Epstein as ‘snake-eyed and terse,’ adding: ‘There was a morose, menacing air to him that I found sinister.’”

     

    “She also revealed that Epstein referred to Andrew as his “useful idiot” and described the characteristics that made the late Queen Elizabeth II’s second son an ‘easy mark for con artists and crooks.’”

     

    “Ms Brown claimed: ‘Andrew, unfortunately, exhibited classic symptoms of what is scientifically recognized as the Dunning-Kruger effect, the cognitive bias in which people come to believe that they are smarter and more capable than they really are.’”

     

    “‘The combination of minimal self-awareness and dim intellectual wattage leads sufferers of this condition to overestimate their capabilities. Years of enjoying unearned obeisance to his royal position allowed Andrew to bang on with a combination of overweening self-confidence and unchallenged ignorance. It made him an easy mark for con artists and crooks,’ she continued.”

     

    “According to Ms Brown’s unnamed source, Epstein flew Andrew on his corporate jet to places where he wanted to negotiate deals, knowing their governments were obliged to receive the British Prince. The financier would use Andrew as ‘his front man negotiated deals with often shady players.’ Ms Brown claimed Epstein would ‘give Andrew some cream off the cake.’”

     

    Now, in a month when the possibly as high as £9.7 million ($12 million, €11 million or درهم44.1 million) mutually agreed non-disclosure agreement reached by the equally birdbrained bagger of freebies Sarah, Duchess of York’s live-in ex-husband with Virginia Roberts comes to an end, the woes for this non-sweater are definitely worsening.

     

    Though he might have possibly even have encouraged Ian Maxwell to release to The Daily Telegraph what was subsequently mocked as “the most peculiar photograph seen on a front page,” the Duke of York simply looks more and more ridiculous.

     

    Of the snap of two random people with their faces covered with A4 printouts of photographs of Roberts Giuffre and Prince Andrew in the infamous bath where they were alleged to have begun their sexual shenanigans on 10th March 2001, Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid on Monday observed:

     

    “It shows two people in the very bath in Ghislaine Maxwell’s former Belgravia home where the Duke of York was alleged to have abused Virginia Guiffre.”

     

    “Ghislaine Maxwell’s brother believes that it discredits Virginia Guiffre’s claims. It’s very odd, because Virginia Guiffre says that they were in the bath together.

     

    “This setup, this mockup, that the two people have done wearing masks, which is supposed to recreate that they were in the bath together – I have no idea what it recreates other than it’s clearly a bath big enough for two people to be in.”

     

    “In what sense it discredits Virginia Giuffre – I think most people looking at it would be at a complete loss.”

     

    Giving his tuppence worth, Reid’s co-host Richard Madeley added:

     

    “If you’re going to say the bath is too small for two people to sit in it, then you have a photograph presumably that demonstrates you can only get one person in it. To say this bath is too small and to prove that with a picture of two people in the bath, it seems to me bonkers. It just makes no sense at all.”

     

    Elsewhere in an “exclusive” on Sunday, Mirror news reporter Patrick Hill interviewed US attorney Spencer Kuvin, who represents nine of Jeffrey Epstein’s many, many victims about the Maxwell mockup. He shared that he thinks “the prince’s advisers are part of the PR plot” and observed:

     

    “It’s absurd. They seem to be saying Virginia was in the house after all. It undermines their case.”

     

    “As for Ghislaine’s comments about the genuine photo of Andrew with Virginia at her home in London, it shows a lot of work is being done on his behalf – he’s desperate to rehabilitate his image.”

     

    “Ghislaine protects the men in her life. She’s hoping Andrew can help her.”

     

    “There’s a PR campaign at work. It’s a public relations exercise, not so much a legal one. I think he and his lawyers have realised they have an impossible hill to climb.”

     

    “But he has nothing to lose by saying he wants to do it. He wins from declaring he’s innocent and should be let back into the royal family, but it’s never going to happen.”

     

    “It is unbelievable he’d try to reverse the agreement. If he starts down that route it’ll reopen the entire case.”

    THAT 2001 Photo Thus Far NOT PROVEN A FAKE – The 10th March 2001 photograph of Prince Andrew, Virginia Roberts and Ghislaine Maxwell

    The photograph, taken supposedly by Jeffrey Epstein on the first-floor landing at 44 Kinnerton Street, Belgravia, London, SW1X 8ES, United Kingdom, has been shared by the world’s media in hundreds of thousands of articles and analysed countless times by countless experts.

     

    In November 2019, the Daily Mail’s Inderdeep Bains called it: “The photograph that WON’T go away” and it, as of date, has NEVER been discredited. Amongst evidence suggesting it to be perfectly real is that:

     

    • The setting of the photograph has been confirmed as genuine by the Maxwell family. Of it, in March 2021, Ian Maxwell told Radio 4’s Today programme: “I do recognise that setting.”
    • The window in the picture has the same features as the front first floor windows of 44 Kinnerton Street.
    • The width of the first floor landing is accurate to the measurements shown in the floor plan of the sales brochure prepared on the 14th October 2021 by estate agents Wellbelove Quested.
    • Though he claimed to be “at a loss to explain this particular photograph” during the 2019 BBC interview, the Duke of York has admitted to having visited 44 Kinnerton Street. He stated: “I don’t think I think ever went upstairs… The dining room and everything was on the ground floor.” Contradicting the royal, sources have claimed that the room behind him, Roberts and Maxwell in the photograph was used as a sitting room.
    • The heights of all three individuals in the picture look to be accurate proportionately.
    • Prince Andrew’s “chubby fingers” are clear to see. The Queen’s second son’s fingers are clearly “chubby fingers” and these very same “chubby fingers” have been seen hundreds of thousands of times in hundreds of thousands of other photographs.
    • Prince Andrew has claimed he only ever goes out in London in a suit and tie. Images of him in open necked shirts in the capital – including one of him leaving the nightclub Chinawhite – prove to the contrary.
    • Prince Andrew has claimed he does not “do” hugs and and embraces in photographs. Images of him taken in St Tropez embracing the US socialite Chris Von Aspen in July 2007 suggest the alleged non-sweater is wrong also on that score.
    • The outfit worn by Virginia Roberts – a woman who has already received financial settlements from Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell – has been seen on her in photographs of her at Naomi Campbell’s 2001 birthday party in France. In spite of some suggestions that a lady only wears an outfit once, we counter that a lady in Miss Roberts’ unfortunate situation would be forced to wear what she was told appealed to those in control of her wished her to wear.
    • Matthew Steeples of The Steeple Times and Shaun Attwood of Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Channel have both seen inside 44 Kinnerton Street and the stair rail shown in the photo remains in place and is thus genuine to the setting. Attwood subsequently released film footage of this on his YouTube channel and The Steeple Times shared its most recent image of the open front door with the stair rail beyond in July 2021.
    • Many experts have repeatedly stated photo manipulation was in its infancy at the time that this image first surfaced.
    • The FBI have never questioned the authenticity of the image.

    When asked about what occurred on the night of 10th March 2001 in the first floor bathroom at her Kinnerton Street mews house, Ghislaine Maxwell responded: “[Virginia Roberts] then characterized [sic] things took place in my bathroom in the bathtub itself. The tub is too small for any kind of activity whatsoever.” The picture of that very same tub used in marketing material by Wellbelove Quested proves exactly to the contrary.

    The floor plan shared by the likes ‘The Daily Mail’ and ‘The Sun suggested the first-floor bathroom at the house to be 7-foot, 4 inches by 7-foot, 2-inches. Floor plans shared by estate agents Wellboved Quested suggested that the room is actually 8-foot, 4-inches by 8-foot, 2-inches. There was most definitely plenty of room for two…

The setting in which Prince Andrew and Virginia Roberts were captured was indeed most definitely genuine. In the same month, the new owners of the property displayed a poster at 44 Kinnerton Street for a festival that was to be held in East Anglia from 31st July 2021 to 1st August 2021. The event, the EA Festival, was hosted at Hedingham Castle – home to Jason and Demetra Lindsay – in Essex and had a line-up that included model and advocate Arizona Muse, film director Mike Figgis, ‘Countdown’s’ Susie Dent, sex commentator Rowan Pelling and comedian Josh Berry. The same open doorway also showed something else… The very same bannister that was shown in the photograph Prince Andrew, Virginia Robert and Ghislaine Maxwell appeared in.

    “Do you feel safe around the police?” enquired Emma Barnett on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour this morning specifically in the context of the latest Metropolitan policeman-rapist David Carrick – a now convicted criminal who should never have passed vetting in the first place given accusations against him prior to and during his appointment.

     

    Ms Barnett was right to ask such, but what she very clearly missed was to observe was that the very person at the helm of this police force during much of Carrick’s time committing many of his crimes was a woman, Dame Cressida Dick DBE QPM.

     

    Currently there are about 1,000 allegations of domestic abuse or sexual offences against the Met’s 45,000 officers and staff and yet again today it has been highlighted that criminal conduct within this force has again and again been ignored. “How can it have failed again?” raged former chief constable of Nottinghamshire Sue Fish in today’s The Guardian and going further, she quite sensibly added: “If police are abusing their position to exploit those they are charged to protect, how can the institution be trusted?” She is correct and now the powers must be must put this grave situation right.

     

    Turning back more specifically to the now put-out-to-paddock Dame Cressida, the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden highlighted another scandal in which she failed to act forcefully – that of the ‘Partygate’ probe into Boris Johnson and his cronies ‘living-it-large’ at Downing Street during COVID-19 lockdowns. Eden observed:

     

    “Commander Catherine Roper, who has been confirmed as Wiltshire’s new Chief Constable, was previously in charge of the ‘Partygate’ probe into Covid breaches in Downing Street. She was given the role by Cressida Dick. In her new job, Roper will have to look after several well-known Wiltshire dignitaries – including Dick, who has a home in the county. Small world, isn’t it?”

     

    Dame Cressida’s cronyism and curious connections have repeatedly been examined in The Steeple Times. She went to the same school as the convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, Oxford High School, at the same time as her and attended the same college at the University of Oxford, Balliol. Dame Cressida’s father, Marcus Dick (1920 – 1971) just happened also to be the senior tutor at Balliol College also and in 1994, when the Metropolitan Police could have pursued allegations that Maxwell was operating an upmarket brothel from her Stanhope Mews East, South Kensington, London home, the force did nothing.     In a year when one now former MP, Neil Parish, was caught watching ‘tractor porn’ – whatever that may actually be – on a camera in the Chamber of the House of Commons, that The Guardian actually seems surprised that “No. 10 [is] ‘concerned’ MPs engaged in ‘sex and heavy drinking on trips abroad” is actually beyond laughable.

     

    Aside from missing out on bringing up ‘Naughty Tories’ who used to go around groping such as the convicted sex offender and ex-MP for Dover, Charlie Elphicke – a criminal and husband of the immigrant hating current MP for Dover, Natalie Elphicke – being a fine example of the type of people politics in Britain currently sadly attracts, Rowena Mason, the paper’s ‘Whitehall editor,’ banged on about how a report focused on how “MPs were reportedly met by sex workers in their hotel rooms and engaged in raucous drinking while on parliamentary trips abroad.” Why on earth was she surprised?

     

    Ms Mason’s article highlighted that the Prime Minister’s office responded to her enquiries by suggesting that it “clearly very concerning” that MPs on “fact-finding trips” including one Conservative MP “asked where the nearest brothel was when he visited a country in south-east Asia.” Why on earth was she surprised?

     

    Going further, the MailOnline’s political editor, James Tapsfield, went further and added that: “Fears have been raised by over blackmail attempts by hostile states after claims MPs found sex workers waiting in their hotel rooms on a foreign trip. The politicians are said to have been part of an All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) visit to a dictatorship when the extraordinary circumstances arose.” Why on earth was Rowena Mason surprised?

     

    Tapsfield continued and claimed: “There is no suggestion the MPs knew the prostitutes would be there, or that they used their services – but the claim highlights the potential risks with complaints that some trips are blighted by ‘sex and heavy drinking.’” Could Rowena Mason still be reasonably surprised?

     

    Last month, the Independent reported that a senior Conservative MP had been reported to the police over allegations they committed rape and a series of sexual assaults” by “a group of colleagues, themselves Tory MPs” on 28th October.

     

    Amongst other MPs currently under suspicion are a Tory MP, arrested in June 2021 and awaiting a charge decision, for alleged historic sex crimes and another on bail over separate allegations of rape.

    Now, it has emerged that in spite of just serving 7 years of a 16-year sentence given in 2015, it seems the 78-year-old onetime ‘glam rocker’ could be about to get out of jail in early 2023 and it is said he could be moving to Margate in Kent – a town better known for its connections to artists Tracey Emin and J. M. W. Turner.

     

    “Why Margate?” we hear you ask. Aside from in November 2008, the Kent Messenger claiming: “Is Glitter living in Kent?” to be the “hottest rumour around” and him having previously registered as wanting to use Ashford International Stadium, Kent as part of his “travel applications,” it now seems Margate residents seem to suspect this evil cretin could be soon lurking like a leech amongst their midst. He is tellingly said to have “familial connections to the area.”

     

    Glitter previously featured, on a prior gap between his many, many jail stints in Britain and beyond, in a video allegedly made in Margate last in August 2008. In the very short 0:18-second clip supposedly filmed in the town, the “paedophile tw*t” was asked if he was “coming back to England” and then he ran away. The video is available to view below whilst in February 2009, one member of the Mumsnet social network got very upset that they’d “just discovered Gary Glitter [might have been] living less than a mile away from [their] son’s school in Margate.”

     

    Ms Jenkins later continued: “He is definitely in Margate. Loads of people have seen him in and around there since before Christmas. Apparently, the local cab firms won’t pick him up.”

    At the weekend, Sam Merriman and Simon Parry for The Mail on Sunday further observed of Glitter’s likely 2023 release:

     

    “Sex offenders released from prison are closely monitored by both the police and the Probation Service and may be recalled to jail if they breach their strict licence conditions.”

     

    His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service were contacted at their Clive House, 60 Petty France, London headquarters for comment on Monday by The Steeple Times but declined to comment. A representative remarked: “We cannot discuss individual cases” before curtly hanging up; they most definitely didn’t, however, add: Hello, Hello, [Call] Back Again.

    As more documents about Jeffrey Epstein and his cohorts are unsealed in New York, could there be a bumpy ride ahead for ‘Devil’s Advocate’ Alan Dershowitz? Will Ghislaine Maxwell cough up names and will those she trafficked to be brought to justice?

    On Monday in New York, after further documents relating to the filthy activities of the noxious nonces Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were unsealed, the tables yet again turned for the notable ‘Devil’s Advocate’ Alan Dershowitz.

     

    Fresh from having – if you believe the narrative of him reaching an ‘agreement’ with Virginia Roberts Giuffre as a simple “dismissed with prejudice and without costs or award of fees to either party” in November – trouble, it seems, is again brewing for this anything but fresh-faced and anything but private lawyer.

     

    Now, 84-year-old Dershowitz – a man best known for having not only represented Epstein, but also famed for his associations with other ‘notorious’ and very rich clients including Claus von Bülow, Patty Hearst, Leona Helmsley, O. J. Simpson, Donald Trump, Mike Tyson and Harvey Weinstein – has to face up to the problems the unsealing of transcripts, emails and photographs from the 2017 deposition of Epstein-Maxwell victim Sarah Ransome might bring.

     

    Dershowitz – who not only lived-it-up with Epstein in his mansion in his notorious camera filled ‘Paedo Palace’ in Lenox Hill, New York over the years, but whom also visited his ‘Paedo Pad’ in Palm Beach and the ‘Paedo Islands’ of Little and Great St James’s in the Caribbean as well – became most definitely publicly associated with the since croaked paedophile in 2000 when he “served as a character witness for the reclusive financier.” The pair, however, had supposedly first met in the summer of 1996 at a party given by (Lady) Lynn Forester de Rothschild – a close mate of another Epstein chum, Lord (Peter) Mandelson – on Martha’s Vineyard for her since deceased husband, Sir Evelyn de Rothschild (1931 – 2022).

     

    At that time, Dershowitz described “enthralling” Epstein as “feisty” and “utterly politically incorrect… interesting to be with.” Subsequently, after the duo spent time together at Harvard, the self-declared and since retired “eminent Harvard professor” became the lawyer for Epstein after a 2005 investigation into allegations involving young girls in Palm Beach.

     

    Last night, the DailyMail.com’s Daniel Bates revealed:

     

    “One of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims has claimed that he did make sex tapes of his wealthy friends – and not only has she seen them, she’s made copies.”

     

    “And Sarah Ransome’s newly released deposition has rekindled allegations that top attorney Alan Dershowitz was involved in the abuse of underage girls.”

     

    “Ransome claimed in the deposition taken as part of a lawsuit that Virginia Giuffre filed against Epstein’s one-time girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell that she has seen footage of two of Epstein’s associates having sex with a female victim.”

     

    Whilst Ransome “even claims to have copies which she has stored at several secure locations around Europe,” Dershowitz responded by “denying any abuse” and claiming “the stories are all made up.”

     

     

    Continuing, Bates added:

     

    “The theory about the tapes has been fueled by two of Epstein’s victims, Maria Farmer and Giuffre, who claim that they saw a room full of CCTV monitors at Epstein’s $65million mansion in New York – including some showing cameras in the toilets.”

     

    “When police raided Epstein’s mansion in 2019 they found dozens of tapes of girls in a twisted library the disgraced financier kept.”

     

    “Maxwell appeared to have admitted the tapes existed after being tricked by a journalist for the TV show 60 Minutes, telling him: ‘I don’t know where they are.’”

     

    “According to the deposition, among the men that Ransome claims she was forced to have sex with was Epstein’s former lawyer Alan Dershowitz. She described him as ‘quite an elderly man, wore glasses, quite pasty, pasty-skinned.’”

     

    Now, as the rabbit hole that is the saga of still-living Ghislaine Maxwell keeps on unravelling, one is simply left asking: “Will this mucky madam ever actually cough up the names of those she sex trafficked too?”

     

    As review of her sentence approaches in January, the clock is ticking, but still the pension pot plunderer’s daughter remains silent. It seems astounding, but one thing’s for clear; as her own pension pot plundering father once said: “I have a beautiful daughter and she’s just like me.” As we have emphasized before, the word “beautiful” should simply replaced with “deviant.”

His former girlfriend, Eva Andersson Dubin, took ‘just’ 36 flights whilst the since croaked paedophile sex trafficker Jean-Luc Brunel is said to have taken 34 flights, Gleen Dubin 27 and President Bill Clinton an astonishing 26.

    Bizarrely, clearly attempting to distract from developments in his own life, Dershowitz took to Twitter late Tuesday and shared a link to a podcast he’d made about a Ponzi scheming who seemingly has plundered even bigger numbers than his late mate Epstein. He asked: “Is Sam Bankman-Fried really guilty?” Perhaps the ‘Devil’s Advocate’ might do better to instead focus on his own issues-in-hand than to meddle in matters he has no control or involvement in (as of yet).
    Alan Dershowitz was played by Ron Silver in the 1990 American drama film ‘Reversal of Fortune’ with Jeremy Irons as Claus von Bülow and Glenn Close as Sunny von Bülow. The 111-minute film grossed £12.3 million at the box office and was lauded for its “exceptional performances” and “cunning script.” Will the ‘Devil’s Advocate’ himself be able to be quite so cunning as we move into 2023?

    As it is revealed that Scottish police disgracefully destroyed evidence in the Luke Mitchell case, we highlight two other equally shocking examples of police evidence destruction and call for reinvestigations of all three cases

    Last night, in what he justifiably called a “bombshell” and announced as an “exclusive,” The Scottish Sun’s Douglas Walker revealed that Luke Mitchell, convicted of killing his girlfriend Jodi Jones in Dalkeith, Midloathian in 2003, “could sue prosecutors after it emerged they sanctioned the police to destroy evidence from the murder case.”

     

    According to the paper:

     

    “Cops illicitly destroyed protected evidence from the Jodi Jones murder case, we can reveal. More than 100 legal productions including burnt clothes were secretly uplifted for disposal – against police rules.”

     

    “Now it’s emerged that Mitchell’s legal team could sue prosecutors after it emerged they sanctioned the police to destroy evidence from the murder case.”

     

    “An insider revealed he could argue his right to an appeal has been hampered with Crown Office lawyers now desperate for assurances he won’t take them to court.”

     

    “A letter from the Lord Advocate’s government solicitors admitted the evidence had been taken away – and confirmed destruction had now been halted.”

     

    Continuing, “an insider told The Scottish Sun” that:

     

    “A load of officers from the Major Investigation Team went to Edinburgh to remove over 100 productions. This included some burnt clothes found about a thousand metres from the locus.”

     

    “They loaded boxes into a police van and took them to Livingston police station. The Crown Office had signed off the items to be returned to the owner or destroyed. This is not normal procedure, especially in a murder case.”

     

    “Mitchell could now argue his right to a fair appeal has been denied as evidence has been destroyed. This could lead to a judicial review which could even pave a way to his release.”

     

    Far from being this a lone example of incompetence on the part of Lothian and Borders Police, as we highlighted in our article yesterday about the ongoing campaign to get the 1986 conviction of Jeremy Bamber revisited by the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), there are sadly many more examples where similar antics have gone on.

     

    In the case of Bamber, critical evidence was burnt in the garden of White House Farm and taken home by officers by Essex Police even and in a further example, that of Mark Alexander, who has been in jail for killing his conman father since 2010, it was just as bad.

     

    Found guilty without any forensic evidence and with the help of Midsomer Murders-esque “suspicious neighbours primarily, supporters of Alexander rightly highlight that the prosecution withheld critical information from trial that included that four potential suspects – who police never bothered to speak to – were never even mentioned to the jury.

     

    Going further and summing up what led to the conviction of Alexander, Progressing Prisoners Maintaining Innocence (PPMI), observed: “Another example of typical factors in a wrongful conviction: no forensic evidence, impossible time frame for the crime to be committed, witness put off by the police, important witnesses not interviewed, lurid allegations in the press published before they could be countered, all racked up by such sad personal circumstances.”

     

    It is time for all three cases to be revisited and at the very least those officers that destroyed key documents and items must be quite rightly be brought to book. Justice is never just if it is based on the police manipulating the evidence that gets that very justice.

    Evidence Destruction By Police – Campaigns Supporting Mark Alexander, Jeremy Bamber and Luke Mitchell

    Here are three men who continue to rot in prison. Each may or may not be guilty of the murders they were convicted of committing. However, though, the protests of innocence of each man should be judged on the merits and failings of each case alone, what links these three men is that the police very, very clearly shockingly botched the handling of evidence that led to each of their convictions.

     

    Each man – Mark Alexander, Jeremy Bamber and Luke Mitchell – as a result of a questioning public and critical experts highlighting the flaws in their cases, has attracted large support. More details about the campaigns seeking reinvestigations into each of their cases follows:

    Earlier this month, Tom Halliday (pictured), a Midlothian car mechanic turned bathroom designer and fitter, revealed that he found a knife in a skip just 500 yards from where the body of schoolgirl Jodi Jones was found just days after her 30th June 2003 murder. He reported it the police and spoke out again now after recently finding out that his find was never even mentioned let alone submitted during the trial. Mr Halliday commented: “Nobody placed any importance on that knife. When I learned it wasn’t documented, it raised my suspicions the police may have tried to conceal the discovery.” Going further, a lawyer for Luke Mitchell, Scott Forbes, added: “This is the real missing knife… It was either destroyed went missing if it didn’t fit the police narrative.”
    Amongst items not only never shown to the court at the trial of Jeremy Bamber was this bible. Though photographed by Essex Police at the crime scene next to the body of Sheila Caffell – the only other suspect in these familial murders – it was shockingly destroyed. “What motivated officers to do this?” remains a question that very clearly ought to be answered.

    In April 2020, ‘The Steeple Times’ reported that “further questions about the conduct of Essex Police [were] raised as it [was] revealed they destroyed the bible, nightclothes and pillows that were found with the victims at White House Farm on the night of the 1985 murders. The 20th March 2000 letter from the Criminal Cases Review Commission to Glaisyers Solicitors LLP and Sheila Caffell is truly a shocking example of a bungling balls-up.

    Of how the police handled the investigation into his father’s murder in 2009 and the discovery of his body subsequently at his home at 2 Prospect Close, Drayton Parslow, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK17 0JB, Mark Alexander observed: “Once I was in their sights, things went downhill pretty quickly. Supporting testimony offered by my mum in police interview wasn’t shared with my defence team. Samples taken at the burial site weren’t bagged correctly, so degraded in transit before they could ever be tested. When I gave officers a list of dad’s aliases, the leads weren’t followed. And despite there being no sign of the murder itself having taken place at the house, no efforts were made to search the local area for clues. Instead of being guided by the facts, the facts were reinterpreted to fit the suspect, me. The pathology reports gave a two-month window within which dad’s death might have occurred. Everything then focused on fixing the murder as close as possible to the beginning of that window in order to provide me with just enough time and motive to render what they already believed to be true plausible. It was classic confirmation bias.”
