La Brasserie to mark International Beer Day in conjunction with Mongoose Premium Beer
On 7th August, after the success of their “pour the perfect pint” event with Stella Artois in early July, La Brasserie will mark International Beer Day by offering a complimentary guest beer to guests.
Sponsored by Imbibe Drinks with their 5% ABV Mongoose Premium Beer brand, this is an interesting choice due to the fact that Mongoose is effectively “the original Cobra Beer” recipe that Lord Bilimoria famously launched in 1989.

Marketed as “having all the courage and cunning to devour even its most deadly enemies”, Mongoose is brewed by Wells and Young’s. It has been described on the popular beer blog It could do with a few more hops… as “light and spritzy” and as “Cobra reloaded” by Foodepedia.
On International Beer Day, La Brasserie will serve a variety of other beers including Corona, Kronenboug 1664, Peroni and Stella Artois. Complimentary Mongoose will be available from 5pm until closing.
