Dinner for one

Charles Saatchi returns to the scene of the ‘throttling’

Charles Saatchi has been dining out a lot lately. With his ‘domestic goddess’ wife holed up in her sister’s flat in Mayfair, the art mogul put on an especially strong show of defiance by returning to Scott’s on Monday night to take the very same table where he allegedly ‘throttled’ Nigella Lawson.

On other occasions in recent days Saatchi has variously been spotted leaving Montpeliano in Knightsbridge with a takeaway and at 34, also in Mayfair. For that particular dinner, the multi-millionaire was supposedly in the company of Evening Standard owner Evgeny Lebdev and comedian Harry Enfield.

A feast for one in a restaurant is presumably better than a night at home with a recipe from Nigella Bites.
