The Prince of Wales sportingly joined in with a game of table tennis and tried out an exercise bike during the official opening of a new sports centre on the Dumfries House Estate this week

“I could hear my heart beating in that final game. It was absolutely thudding. I tried to stay calm. I thought, ‘If he looks up and he sees me panicking that’s the last thing he needs’. And when I saw the ball going in the net, that he’d won, that was it. I was gone. I was so happy for him”.

Without doubt Andy Murray’s successful victory at Wimbledon on Sunday came about because of not just his determination but also that of his mum. She has been by his side throughout his career and though noted for grimacing in the past, Judy Murray’s smile just had to be our picture of the week.
