Week of prime fishing on the River Tay for sale for £145,000
A “prime week of timeshare salmon and sea trout fishing on one of the most productive beats on the River Tay” has gone on sale for £145,000 or £2,013 per year.
Offered on a 99-year lease from 1989 with 72 years remaining, the Taymount Fishings, near Perth comes with a five year average of 24.8 fish and features 1.85 miles of reciprocal double bank fishing for six rods on the largest river system in the United Kingdom.

I do enjoy fishing very much but £145,000 for something you can only use a week per year?! Someone’s having a laugh.
A very good way to entertain clients. If I had the corporate entertaining allowance I used to have I would most certainly consider buying this.
Mr Stocken fishes on the River Spey and enjoys it very much. I hear the Tay is rather good also but not quite in the same league. If the price were lower I would suggest my husband purchase this as he spends much more on his week (but seems to catch nothing).
