His supporters argue that his critics are just “jealous, small-minded and unable to engage politically or intellectually with the ideas he devises and promulgates on a cooperative, non-coercive basis” whilst he loftily sees himself as “the Lenin de nos jours”. That this academic, wannabe politician and author wrote a book describing the Jimmy Savile scandal as a “moral crusade” in 2013 about says it all. Frank Furedi is nothing more than a pompous, ridiculous man.

There is a very thin veneer for decency amongst academics in Britain and Europe. Dominique Strauss-Khan IMF boss raped a maid in a posh New York Hotel, strings were pulled in the prosecution service,crucial evidence sweeped under the carpet. He too is a champagne socialist and academic, and was predicted to become the next President of France. It is more than a moral crusade. It is not his teeth that is rotten , it is his distorted thinking process. His house must be a complete pig style with all the rubbish he sweeps under the carpet.

Perhaps the respected professor of sociology from the University of Kent can explain why double standards are acceptable when politicians and the establishment are involved. Why can’t nurses and doctors not sweep mlstakes and offences under the carpet?
