After being convicted of stealing £1,500 worth of jewellery from Vandra Henderson of Whitstable, Kent in July 2013, this cleaner took to Facebook to berate a local newspaper who featured an image of him. Claiming his human rights had been breached didn’t win him any sympathy with his mother. In reply, Teresa Cooper wrote: “You should not have done it in the first place… That lady didn’t want her jewlery [sic] taking but you did it anyway, end of”. It is high time a few other parents took just such a stance.

Leave this poor kid alone. He made an honest mistake. Seriously pick on someone who deserves a kickin.
Liberals make excuses for destructive criminal youth offending. They blame factors such as poverty, social exclusion and the “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder” for idle and criminal behaviour. They define 16 and 17 year old hooligans as children, because it suits them.
The truth is that most hooligans are hooligans because they made the decision to adopt a destructive lifestyle. It is not a lack of money that leads to a poor character.
He didn’t murder anyone. Get real.
Poor kid?! Am I missing something here? The thieving brat was not forced into doing it, and I’m fairly certain everyone knows that steeling is wrong, so……the honest mistake is a far stretch of the imagination. He deserves no leniency.
