Whether innocent or guilty of the murder she’s repeatedly been accused of, this American has made $4 million from her memoir deal with HarperCollins. The family of Meredith Kercher, the true victim in all of this, have rightly stated that they “do not believe anyone should profit from the murder” but Knox, whose conviction for calunnia stands, is therefore indeed proof that crime can indeed pay.

Amanda Platell
This acid tongued Australian harpy was the press secretary to William Hague when he was leader of the Conservative Party. She’s now reverted to journalism and after leaping to the defence of her “dear friend” Rolf Harris declared “Cliff Richard doesn’t deserve this lurid trial by television” in August 2014. A disgrace. Shame on her.
Amanda isn’t profiting. After taxes, paying the lawyers and family back and now a third trial, there’d be no money left.

The American Civil Liberties Union will foot her legal costs. Knox has not received any money of the book deal as yet. The Liberals have a duty of care towards criminals, they are treated as gold dust. It is law-abiding citizens that they hate.
Why is she profiting and who is she?
This is not new. We have created the “sick” society we must now live in.
Nothing surprises me anymore….

Hopefully she doesnt need to go back….. i will read
Miss Knox will be laughing all the way to the bank. Her Public Relations team knows that she is sitting on a goldmine. It is all about money.
The rest is irrelevant.
This saddens me especially as I have worked for HarperCollins as an editorial assistant in the late 90TS!
The Americans thrive on double standards. We all are forced to play by their extradition rules, yet it would have been highly unlikely that they would have agreed to extradite Knox. Mind you, the Eyties would probably not wish to upset the Americans seeing as both countries are run by the Mafia so allowed their risibly corrupt ‘justice’ system to let her off rather than confront the US
