James Blunt names a song after ‘The Sun on Sunday’
Coinciding with Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson going on trial, singer James Blunt has recently released a song named Sun on Sunday.
Two stories to keep beside you

Corrupting Brooks
As Rebekah Brooks heads into court, her ex-husband stars in Radio 4’s ‘The Corrupted’ Just as the trial of former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks started today, her ex-husband Ross Kemp ironically starred in Radio 4’s excellent and unmissable adaptation of GF Newman’s The Corrupted.

Wally of the Week: Chris Bryant MP
James Blunt rightly describes Chris Bryant MP as a “classist gimp” after he complains that the arts are dominated by people from privileged backgrounds

Though Blunt’s song is about a love story rather than the world of newspapers, we’re surprised he hasn’t gained more publicity from the association. Given he was a victim of voicemail hacking by the News of the World, the song, indeed, could become the anthem of the six month court action.
