No Trumps for Trump

Donald Trump’s children forget to register to vote whilst their father shows a complete lack of awareness of the rules of politics

Given their father’s new-found enthusiasm for the electoral process, one would have imagined Donald Trump might have encouraged his offspring to bother to register to vote. It turns out he didn’t.

On Fox News’ Fox & Friends on Monday, Trump explained that two of his children, Eric and Ivanka, had missed New York State’s voter registration deadline and thus will not be able to participate in next week’s GOP. He remarked:

“They had a long time to register and they were unaware of the rules so they feel very, very guilty, they feel very guilty, but it’s fine, I understand, that”.

Clearly showing a lack of knowledge of the process of voter registration, the wannabe president then added: “I think they have to register a year in advance so Eric and Ivanka I guess won’t be voting”. What a forgiving father he truly is.

  1. Why would the children of a billionaire in the USA need to vote, that would be like expecting the Court of Louis XV1 and Marie Antoinette to take an interest in politics. The trump family have already won the capitalist game, they have absolute power, short of a revolution they are ‘in power’. Donald wants more, but then he always did.
