Boris Johnson reminded of the lie he presented again and again
Boris Johnson used to be a great man. He is jolly and he is intelligent and he added a welcome dose of fun to the grey world of politics. When he did an about turn and backed Brexit, however, he became a hypocrite and when he caved into Theresa May and failed to stand against her – due, though we cannot share the exact details, to reasons personal – he became a wet fish and a dead loss.
Now, with thousands sharing an image of Johnson – complete with the caption: “Let’s give our NHS the £350 million the EU takes every week” behind him – on social media, we have a reminder of the lie this politician perpetuated. It is scandalous that the Brexiteers won on the basis of this and the false information they shared about immigration and it is time to remind the world that Boris Johnson is now nothing but an embarrassing representative of Britain on the world stage.

It is entirely possible that the £350m a week could go to the NHS when we Brexit, if the government of the day decides to do so. So it is not a lie. It was a wish expressed by the leave campaign and we can only assess after 2019.
