Moron of the Moment – Natalie Elphicke MP

After using Twitter to dump her sex offender husband Natalie Elphicke MP has returned to the medium to abuse immigrants

Natalie Elphicke OBE MP only got rid of her “naughty Tory” sex offender husband after he was convicted. Until then she’d stood by this deranged deviant and thinking she was being clever, she dumped the disgraced ex-MP Charlie Elphicke via Twitter.

Whilst Mrs Elphicke cannot be blamed for her husband’s actions, she has admitted that she knew what he’d been upto and held hands with him as they left Southwark Crown Court during the trial. Here was an opportunistic woman who only ran for the hills when she knew the writing was on the wall and her, ridiculously, is a woman whom even managed to seize her now ex’s parliamentary seat also.

A shoeless Natalie Elphicke posed on a beach with what appeared to be a brand new boat on 16th August. No actual immigrants appeared in her video.

Now, Mrs Elphicke thinks she can put the past behind her and yesterday she returned to her favoured medium on Twitter to share a video of herself standing shoeless by a boat ranting about immigrants.

“It is unacceptable,” Elphicke raged, before adding: “Seven fit men and one woman. They came in this high-end dinghy and they’ve run away into the village.”

In response, Twitter users quite rightly condemned the Tory MP. One, @TerryRTull remarked: “You would hope with the exams crisis, #COVID19 and #BrexitReality coming you’d have more urgent things to occupy yourself.  Concentrate on the traffickers.”

Another, @fullerk006, added: “Can’t see any immigrants just a boat you put there for some sensationalism” whilst with irony one @FieryGingerCake remarked: “Can’t even control the husband.”

“Please stop showboating” others suggested, whilst others quite rightly told Mrs Elphicke to focus on coronavirus, Brexit and the exam results fiasco.
  • A Tory Whip Shocker!

    A Tory Whip Shocker!

Matthew Steeples finds himself in shock and agreeing with Jess Phillips MP after she calls out Tory hypocrisy over their failure to withdraw the whip from an unnamed MP arrested for alleged sex crimes

A cataclysmic and likely one-time only event occurred last night: I found myself agreeing with the normally bombastically bonkers Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley, Jess Phillips.

Speaking to the Times Radio after the arrest of an as yet unnamed Tory MP, Phillips commented:

“In any other organisation, were this investigation to be going on, this police investigation, somebody would be suspended while the investigation was taking place.”

She is entirely right and given the Conservatives recently stripped the whip from Julian Lewis MP after he beat Chris Grayling to the intelligence chair role and they previous withdrew it against the now convicted “naughty Tory” sex pest Charlie Elphicke, why hasn’t the governing party taken the same course of action against the newly arrested MP?

Meanwhile elsewhere, with news that Boris Johnson’s crony Crispin Odey – a man until now best known for spending the ludicrously ostentatious sum of £150,000 on a chicken shed and giving over £870,000 to support the campaign for Brexit – has been charged with assaulting a women aged over 16, comes further bad headlines for the Prime Minister.

Though Mr Odey denies the allegation, “will strongly contest this matter” and deserves to be subject to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, the mere fact that so many Conservatives are even being accused of such crimes is proof only that this once great party has sunk deeper into the quagmire of sleaze than it did even in the days of John Major.

Jess Phillips MP got it right in calling out the shocking hypocrisy of the Conservative Party in failing to withdraw the whip from the unnamed Conservative accused of a number of alleged sex offences. The same unnamed MP’s constituency party has also come out and announced they will support said individual.

Natalie Elphicke MP – whom replaced her husband as the member for Dover – stood by her husband Charlie Elphicke during his trial. She suggested she did so because she feared he might “kill himself,” but frankly that she plainly knew he was guilty is proof of her hypocrisy.

Tory supporter Crispin Odey remains innocent until convicted, but the fact that there are so many allegations floating around only helps portray Boris Johnson’s government as one of sleaze.

Titles for the Boys and Girls – Elevation of Sir Philip May

Giving a knighthood to Philip May for “political services” is absolutely preposterous given his firm’s dubious connections; instead Count Binface would have been a better recipient

One can assume ‘Brenda from Bristol’ will not be amused at news that Theresa May’s garden gnome-like husband has been given a knighthood and Twitter users reacted similarly.

Aside from some highlighting the newly elevated Sir Philip’s company’s shareholding in arms manufacturers that sold £15 billion worth of weaponry to Saudi Arabia during the merciless Yemen assault, it should be recalled that this relationship manager at Capital Group was criticised last September by the father of a Kingsman killed in Iraq. Of the then plain old Mr May, Bill Stewardson remarked:

“Leaving aside my son’s death, which is difficult, how the hell can we have a Prime Minister whose husband directly profits from companies that avoid paying tax and make a huge profit from selling arms to Saudi Arabia? How can that be? Why is that fair?”

With a vast shareholding in the aiders of electoral manipulation that is Facebook and billions in Russian companies also, many of the Capital Group’s other connections are equally questionable. With some of these organisation’s having been involved in subverting the EU referendum result, the conflict of interest between Sir Philip’s business life and role as spouse of the former Prime Minister has been quite rightly questioned.

During the 2017 general election campaign, May himself declared: “I get to decide when I take the bins out. Not if I take them out. I do the traditional boy jobs by and large.” Whilst that just made him sound like an oddball, him now receiving an honour is nothing but rubbish.  Frankly, his wife’s one-time fellow candidate in Maidenhead, Count Binface (formerly Lord Buckethead), would have been more deserving of the knighthood.

‘To Thyself Be True’ – Sir Philip and Lady May (as they must now be called) are akin to characters from ‘Wallace and Gromit’ and now they have a strange coat of arms which features a design that contains what looks like two sheaves of wheat.

  • Robert Mercer’s Network of Interference

    Robert Mercer’s Network of Interference

Matthew Steeples suggests it is not only Russia that Britain must fear, it is the interference of the likes of billionaires such as Robert Mercer

Whilst the Russia report has revealed much about how Putin and his cronies have interfered in British politics, it must also be remembered that there is another powerful danger subverting democracy both here and in the US: the secretive billionaire Robert Mercer.

A man with octopus like tentacles and fingers in a multitude of pies, computer scientist Mercer funded Cambridge Analytica’s work on the Brexit campaign and was the biggest single donor in the 2016 US presidential race.

Aside from being one of the owners of the far-right Breitbart News Network, Mercer is known to have links with The Taxpayers’ Alliance – whose founder, Matthew Elliott, also happens to be the man whom set up Conservative Friends of Russia. The TPA, it must be remembered, is not actually the voice of the British taxpayer, but is, in fact instead a private company limited by guarantee that lobbies for secretive vested interests.

As well as having close associations with such people as Arron Banks, Nigel Farage and Donald Trump, here is someone with a determination to deny climate change and someone who once allegedly suggested that “white racists no longer exist in the US.” As Carole Cadwalladr pointed out of him in February 2017, Mercer is an expert in algorithms and big data also and his clear desire is to “remake parts of the media landscape.”

Beneath it all, kingmaker Robert Mercer has an agenda that is focused on the interests of no one but himself. He deserves to be called out as nothing but a force for bad and Britain would be all the better if he disinvolved himself from our affairs.

Wally of the Week – Disgraceful Dimwit Darren Grimes

As manipulated millennial Darren Grimes gets himself into yet another racism storm with the help of his beloved bigot Dr David Starkey, one has to ask: “Who is this cretin’s puppet master?”

“I wish I’d caught it at the time,” blubbed Darren Grimes after his failure to notice the bigot Dr David Starkey CBE spouting racist bile and shockingly complaining about their being “so many damn blacks” in Britain on his Reasoned UK channel.

Fresh from threatening esteemed writer Peter Jukes with legal action in May for utterly no good reason, ‘Dim Grim’ continued: “I am still learning the ropes, I will be much more alert to challenging this kind of thing in the future.” He then attempted to justify his failure with a throwaway: “I am very new to being the interviewer rather than the interviewee” line.

Turning to having stupidly lauded Starkey’s shocking remarks in the hours after uploading the sorry excuse for an interview, the awkward agitator and failed trainee hairdresser declared: “I’d appreciated his history programmes growing up, which did a lot for me as a kid in a really crap state school with precious little way of history.” Earlier, of the very same interview, Grimes had also commented: “It’s so good I’m watching it back again… They say never to meet your heroes, well, I virtually met one of mine and it was bloody fantastic… I love him.”

Known for banging on about “white privilege” and how he comes from a fatherless home and has a mother who bought a council house (as if such actually is relevant), lily-livered Grimes has previous. On May 25th, after Dominic Cummings was deservedly lambasted over his coronavirus lockdown rule breaking drive to Barnard Castle, the tinpot twerp tweeted: “This is actually breaking my heart. The media are monsters. Utter monsters.”

As the Cambridge educated freelance writer Mic Wright concluded of this “miniature Milo Yiannopolous” this morning: “Who is Darren Grimes? Not even he knows,” but more importantly one is left asking: “Who are the far-right manipulators pulling the purse strings that continue to enable this silly little boy?” It’s time we had some answers.

Since Darren Grimes has deleted the parts of his interview with Dr David Starkey that have been deservedly deemed offensive and racist, we share here a YouTube feature by Aaron Bastani with the bits ‘Dazzer’ wants erased from history. In response to criticism, cowardly Grimes tweeted: “The much more detailed and nuanced discussion on current events that I’d had, during a conversation that lasted over an hour, is not well reflected in that one, damning and distressing clip, that has been shared online – I regret missing that part and it has now been removed.”

“I fought them and won” – Manipulated millennial Darren Grimes just cannot help but make a prat of himself. At every turn, he trips himself up with delusional drivel fed to him by his puppet masters.
One Twitter user replaced Starkey with Hitler and showed Darren Grimes nodding along. Frankly, the clip sums up the whole shebang backing this noxious runt up perfectly.

Explaining he’d removed the racist “part” that he regretted “missing,” Grimes conveniently suggested his re-editing of history would get him out of the dung heap. Sadly, for him, it had already gone viral.

  • A Demon Rolls-Royce

    A Demon Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce owned by “maverick” Demon Internet dot-com millionaire Cliff Stanford to be auctioned; an au pair he employed was tragically murdered by a British serial sex offender in Spain; he was convicted of “email spying” in a scandal featuring gerrymanderer Dame Shirley Porter

    • Cliff Stanford is best-known for having established the early dot-com success story Demon Internet in 1992. He had a (boom, boom) “demon touch” and sold the company for £66 million in 1998.
    • After pocketing £30 million personally, one of Stanford’s first moves was to buy a private plane and “one of the most lavish Rolls-Royces then available.”
    • He paid the equivalent (with a discount) of £265,000 today for the opulent Rolls-Royce and declared it: “My favourite present to myself.”
    • The 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is now to be auctioned for less than a tenth of that price with a lower estimate of just £18,000.
    • Stanford’s Spanish au pair was tragically murdered in 1999 and subsequently in a totally unconnected series of events, he was convicted of “email spying” on notorious Conservative politician and gerrymanderer Dame Shirley Porter and her son.
    • According to his personal Twitter account, Stanford is now based in Tallinn, Estonia; he recently tweeted in support of Dominic Cummings, but neglected to mention if he would have loaned his motor for the spinner’s infamous Barnard Castle drive.

In 1998, “flamboyant” Internet pioneer Cliff Stanford paid the equivalent of £265,000 in today’s money for a brand-new motor. He did not opt for the eco-friendly kind-of-car that today’s tech titans drift around in, but instead slam dunked and went for the ultimate symbol of flash – a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur with every conceivable extra.

Stanford’s long wheel base ride – a vehicle that would have been the envy even of Charles Frere, the business tycoon bounder of Howards’ Way, in terms of its lavishness – personified excess and reflected the persona of a man whom “laughingly” considered getting the numbers ‘666’ incorporated into the dial-up for his Demon Internet company’s software.

A Demon Rolls-Royce – Dot-com tycoon Cliff Stanford’s 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur to be auctioned by Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers on 18th July 2020 with an estimate of £18,000 to £22,000 ($22,200 to $27,100, €19,800 to €24,200 or درهم81,600 to درهم99,700) at their Windsorview Lakes sale.
The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and the longer wheelbase Silver Spur (and their Bentley equivalents) were the favoured mode of conveyance of business moguls in the 1980s and 1990s. Charles Frere (played by the late Tony Anholt, died 2002), a stereotypical example of such a character, was regularly seen in such motors in the BBC classic ‘Howards’ Way’ also.

Born in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, Clifford Stanford started his career as an accountant, but “found his way to the Internet via a love of computers.” He hit the jackpot with Demon Internet in 1992 and after selling that company to Scottish Telecom for £66 million, claimed his empire would be “bigger than Branson’s” according to the Guardian.

Speaking to the paper in December 2001, he continued: “I always wanted to be wealthy. Money doesn’t buy happiness but lack of it can lead to misery. Now I really enjoy my life, I do whatever I like and no-one tells me otherwise” and next he set up another venture, Redbus Investments, with Dame Shirley Porter’s son, John, as chairman. It listed on the stock exchange in March 2000 and the company’s activities included not only Internet hosting, but also a landmine disposal system and forays into football and popular music.

Redbus, according to ZDNet in Sept2005, was where “Stanford’s trouble seemed to start.” Kiss-and-tell scandals involving a “champagne fueled romp” at Claridge’s and his being banned from the hotel ensued, whilst in 1999 his Spanish au pair was murdered by a serial British sex offender named Tony King – who was only jailed in 2006 after a previous wrongly convicted suspect was cleared in 2002.

In 2001, the Guardian reported on the tycoon’s associations with Max Clifford – with a plainly hoodwinked Stanford remarking: “Max always has loads of really interesting people at his events” of the long since disgraced and now thankfully dead paedophile – and mentioned an unsuccessful investment of £1 million in a “badly managed” girl band called Girls@play. It had The Apprentice’s Alan Sugar’s niece as its lead singer, but ultimately was “a complete disaster really,” the businessman lamented.

By 2005, Redbus had unraveled spectacularly and in September that year, Sandford was convicted of intercepting emails belonging to his former friend John Porter. He tried to claim his actions were legal, but after being given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay a fine of £20,000 and £7,000 in prosecution costs, a later appeal was denied.

Divorced, a father of two and reinvented as an “innovation strategist” according to his LinkedIn.com page, Stanford is now is based in Tallinn, Estonia with his American-German science fiction writer partner Sylvia Spruck Wrigley. Aside from a website named May.be that lists their many projects, the tech expert is an enthusiastic chess player and user of Twitter.

As well as tweeting enthusiastically about a “clean break Brexit” and complaining about Amazon, Turkish Airlines and the Estonian take on fish and chips on the social media site, he recently came out in support of Dominic Cummings. Of Boris Johnson’s puppet master’s recent problems, Stanford surmised: “Witch hunt.”

Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers will sell Cliff Stanford’s Rolls-Royce Silver Spur on the 18th July and have set an estimate of just £18,000 to £22,000. They describe the vehicle as “one of the highest specified cars we have seen and presents well in black with black leather seats, carpets and headlining,” but neglect to detail any of the high jinxes that this larger-than-life character no doubt conducted from its rear seating area.

June 2009 – Co-founded Power Ethernet. He describes this firm as bringing “disruptive technology to fruition.”

September 2005 – Convicted and given a suspended sentence of 6 months and a fine of £20,000 ($24,700, €22,000 or درهم90,600). A later hearing denied leave to appeal in February 2006.

2003 – Charged under the Computer Misuse Act and the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 with the interception of emails between Jonathan Porter, one-time chairman of Redbus Interhouse, and his disgraced mother, Dame Shirley Porter – a woman best known for the “homes for votes” scandal in Westminster.

March 2000 – Floated Redbus Interhouse on the stock market.

October 1999 – Stanford’s Dutch-Spanish au pair, Rocío Wanninkhof (1979 – 1999), is abducted and stabbed to death. He offered a £50,000 ($61,000, €54,000 or درهم224,000) reward immediately and then doubled the sum in September 2003 “to anyone who could provide information” according to The Independent. After the estranged female lover of Wanninkhof’s mother was wrongly convicted for the murder in 2001 and subsequently cleared, a British sex offender, Tony King, was jailed for the killing in 2006 for 19 years.

1998 – Cliff Stanford paid £150,000 ($185,000, €165,000 or درهم680,000) for a 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, the “last production chassis number for UK sale.” He supposedly secured a discount of £20,000 ($24,700, €22,000 or درهم90,600) on the list price from dealers Jack Barclay and added extras including “a wine cooler to rear armrest, centenary door panels, picnic tables with separate stowage compartment, TV monitor/video to rear compartment and electrically adjustable lumbar support.”

1998 – Founded Redbus Investments four days after the sale of Demon Internet.

1998 – Sold Demon Internet to Scottish Telecom for £66 million ($81 million, €73 million or درهم299 million) with 172,000 subscribers. Stanford became an early dot-com multi-millionaire, personally netted £30 million ($37 million, €33 million or درهم136 million) and moved to Brussels “to avoid capital gains tax” according to the Guardian.

June 1992 – Cliff Stanford founded Demon Internet with 200 subscribers. He had been brought up in Southend-on-Sea, Essex by his single-parent mother and began his career in accountancy.

In footage captured on Wednesday afternoon, someone filming Steve Bray – better known as ‘Mr Stop Brexit’ – captured Boris Johnson’s very own security team smashing their Range Rover into the back of his armoured Jaguar XJ Portfolio V8 LWB in Parliament Square.

Caused supposedly after a Kurdish protestor ran out, the Jaguar subsequently was able to drive away but clearly displays a bash in the boot. No injuries were thankfully reported.

‘Bosie The Clown’ will no doubt forward the repair bill to the same people who are dealing with his ever-growing Brexit balls-up. If asked otherwise, just as with Marcus Rashford, he’ll just claim he didn’t know it had even happened.

Poll of 500 Twitter users backs the building of a statue in honour of Count Binface (formerly known as Lord Buckethead)

Yesterday, The Steeple Times’ Matthew Steeples decided to conduct a poll on Twitter. He jokingly asked: “Would you support the erection of a statue of Count Binface?”

He post-fixed: “He’s surely not offended anyone (other than Boris Johnson and Theresa May).”

The response, thus far, has been phenomenal and at a time when people have been attacking statues of Christopher Columbus, Sir Winston Churchill and Queen Victoria, we perhaps need to ignore Janet Street-Porter’s miserable demand to “junk the lot” and get something erected that celebrates a bit of fun.

Of the 495 votes cast (with 4 hours still to go) in the completely unscientific poll, 94.7% of respondents are currently supporting “Yes – Get him elevated” whilst only 3.2% are of the view “No – He’s off his trolley.” Just 2% haven’t got a clue who Count Binface actually is.

Whilst a legal dispute with the plainly joyless Gremloids creator Todd Durham resulted in the “displacement” of Lord Buckethead – who had stood in four British general elections from 1987 onwards – the political satirist Jon Harvey announced his replacement, Count Binface, to the world on 12th December 2018. He describes the character on Twitter as an “Intergalactic politician and ex-Lord Buckethead,” has a following of 17,600 and was standing in the London mayoral elections until the coronavirus pandemic kicked in.

The Count is good; let’s get him elevated.

Moron of the Moment – Olivia Utley

Rent-a-gob stand-in for Rod Liddle at ‘The Sun’ Olivia Utley shows herself to be nothing but a big-mouthed berk in brainlessly banging on about Brexit; she should eff off!

“Chuffed to be filling in for Rod Liddle today,” 27-year-old Olivia Utley is exactly the kind of person you’d expect to big herself up and this week was no exception for this motormouthed maniac.

Utley, a somewhat tepid try-hard attempt at being Katie Hopkins yet a fan of David Cameron strangely also, on Friday, was given space to spout her views in The Sun. In a column that’d make even Karren Brady look rational titled: “It’ll do our spoiled young Remainers good to remain in Britain for the summer holidays,” this “gleefully” childlike upstart not only attacked the lovely Fiona Bruce but also suggested “it would have been easier to have come out as a paedophile than a Brexiteer.” She’d plainly been drinking vinegar as she penned this particularly puerile drivel.

Here, in ramblings rooted in ridiculousness, Tom Utley of the Daily Mail’s “rent-a-reactionary” niece mocked other millenials and stupidly suggested they believed “the Lake District was a fictional place.” She attempted to justify proclaiming there being a “darker side” to young people “knowing nothing about Britain” and that now their “ignorance could finally be shattered.”

Concluding on the subject of how she believes young people will forget Europe in favour of their country of birth, Utley patronisingly argued: “Reconnected to their roots at last, they might just begin to feel the first stirrings of patriotism running through their British veins.” We’d suggest otherwise: They’re more likely to just tell this moron to eff off!

On Thursday, Olivia Utley was given a “guest column” in ‘The Sun’ in place of Rod Liddle. She was delighted to brag about it on Twitter.

What a hypocrite – In 2019, so-called journalist Olivia Utley bragged about going on holiday to France; in 2020, she mocked others for wanting a holiday abroad. Shame on her.

    On Yer Bike Nige

As Nigel Farage ludicrously suggests Britain is “a country of doubtful democratic legitimacy” (in spite of it giving him the Brexit he so desired this very year), we join those suggesting that this furious Firestarter is still very welcome to leave

“This incident has confirmed my worst fears about the country Britain is becoming” wrote Nostradamus-like Nigel Farage in The Telegraph on Tuesday evening. The same Farage, that is, that was celebrating Boris Johnson and Brexit on 31st January in Parliament Square; the same Farage who finally had the Darling Buds of May mixed with Last of the Summer Wine pastiche version of Britain he has for so long dreamt of.

Farage, at that moment, was “optimistic” and “celebrating the free world” and whilst braying about his dream having finally come true, boldly went as far as to state: “This is the greatest moment ever in the history of our great nation.”

Now, it’s all gone so horribly wrong. After having a visit from the police as a result of breaching lockdown restrictions that ordinary people have willingly obeyed, Farage angrily proclaimed of the police: “I was astonished and, although I remained polite, incredulous. I replied: ‘I’m not going to take that.’”

Continuing his diatribe about what he calls the “new police state” run for the “sneerocracy,” hypocritical Farage – whose two children have German passports (which allows them continued free movement in Europe) – concluded: “I don’t know if I will be stopped and fined if I attempt to do my job again. However, I will look at the shipping forecast. Without question, on the next calm day they will come again, and I will be there to cover this scandal.”

Perhaps, instead, of meddling at a time of pandemic lockdown when his interventions are most definitely not required, this berk could just adapt the advice of Norman Tebbitt and get in a boat. Nigel Farage could sail away to somewhere he’s actually wanted – that being his very own mecca, Trumpland. There, in the manner of Dick Whittington, this fervent Firestarter might even find the streets paved with currency to replace that that he used to take in very, very generous EU expenses.
