Keith Vaz MP’s sister proves herself to be just as grasping as her vile rent-boy loving pervert brother
Most people think rent-a-gob Keith Vaz to be quite bad enough. This Teflon-like creep has taken cash from anyone who’ll hand it over and used rooms in The Washington Hotel in Mayfair to enjoy a bit of fun with rent boys. Now, it seems, his fellow MP sister is joining in on his tawdry money grabbing gig and moaned about having her holidays docked.
That MPs get “half-term breaks” is appalling (our view is: “Make them work like the rest of the populous year round”) but Valerie Vaz thinks differently. Yesterday in the House of Commons, this reprehensible woman bleated on about the cancelling of a week’s recess and announced: “I can’t possibly understand what Members are going through with this announcement… What provision will be given to [MPs who have children?] It cannot be right that Honourable Members have to support their children without the Government stepping in and providing proper provision for it.”
In all seriousness, with the nation wanting a solution to Britain’s Brexit chaos, Miss Vaz should be given the sack by the Labour Party. This lazy, out-of-touch wench, just like her brother – whose wife wanted to “smash crockery over his head” over his deviant extracurricular activities – is not fit to represent the public. It is time to call in Rentokil: Valerie Vaz and her shameless brother need to be dispatched with urgently.
Billionaire Brexiteer James Dyson (yet again) shows himself as nothing but a self-serving prick in relocating his HQ to Singapore
Yesterday, in the wake of the crappy hoover manufacturer Sir James Dyson announcing he’d be relocating his headquarters to Singapore, the journalist Tim Walker tweeted: “Need a moral vacuum? Get a Dyson” and followed up with: “People are becoming legitimately angry about the sheer hypocrisy of the Brexiteers. We see them for what they are.”
Journalist Tim Walker tweets about James Dyson’s “moral vacuum”
This morning, in a similar vein, a spoof news site named Evening Harold ran a story titled ‘Dyson launch moral vacuum’ in which they declared the billionaire’s products to have: “100% less integrity than rival products and comes in cordless, bagless, spineless and gutless models.”
They are right: This tax avoider – whom also recently spent £57 million ($74 million) on a Manhattan penthouse – and his dreary overpriced rugmaker wife Deirdre are the finest examples of hypocrites on the planet; they pompously tell the populous what to do and do exactly the opposite. It’s time this “it’s one rule for us and another for everyone else” duo just bogged off to whatever tax haven they feel most comfortable in.
Russian born Max Hammet-Millay has benefitted from all the privileges of being welcomed to Britain; he now wants to pull up the drawbridge and joined the attack on Anna Soubry MP on Monday
In 2000, an infant named Max was plucked from an orphanage in Ulyanovsk in Russia by two gay men from Islington, London. They had already taken another boy, Renat, from the same place two years earlier.
Glenn Hammett and Keith Millay adopted ‘Max Hammett-Millay’ – as he became – and gave him a £23,000 per year education at the DLD College in Westminster. The boy subsequently studied biology at the University of Portsmouth and reportedly now lives in Camden Town, but sadly it seems Hammett and Millay came to regret their decision to bring him to Britain.
Max Hammett-Millay
In 2017, in an interview for the Daily Mail about his experiences with his two sons, Hammett announced: “There are moments I wish I hadn’t [adopted Max].” He detailed the behavioural problems of both of their sons and yesterday the very same paper revealed: “One of the yobs who called Anna Soubry a ‘Nazi’ and a ‘traitor’ is a private-school educated former Jeremy Corbyn supporter.”
Hammett-Millay, pictures confirm, was indeed amongst the “mob” who surrounded the Conservative MP and Remain supporter on Monday outside the Houses of Parliament and show him wearing a ‘Trump 2020’ baseball cap. He later took to Facebook to share an image of Soubry complete with a drawn-on Hitler moustache but bizarrely, in spite of attending an anti-austerity rally carrying a ‘Jeremy Corbyn for PM’ placard in 2016, has described the Labour leader as a “moron” also.
Plainly Max Hammett-Millay is nothing but a confused, spoilt brat and a wannabe Katie Hopkins. He should calm himself and learn to behave with a little more civility.
Some example of Max Hammett-Millay’s offensive posts from his social media pages follow.
Lady ‘Call Me Victoria’ Borwick makes a fool of herself on the BBC’s ‘Big Question’ as it is revealed that the MP who managed to lose the safe seat of Kensington is ludicrously seeking a comeback
Yesterday morning, Lady ‘Call Me Victoria’ Borwick nodded her head on the BBC’s The Big Questions as another member of the audience suggested it ridiculous that a family living in a poky flat in Beckenham worth £300,000 can be paying the same in council tax as a family living in Kensington in a £25 million mansion.
“Please Victoria, stop interrupting, come on, let’s have someone else,” responded the programme’s host Nicky Campbell as this redheaded mother of the chief technology officer for Vote Leave tried to interject. “I’m a Londoner” later shouted the former Conservative MP – whom lost a seat that anyone would agree a “pig in a blue rosette should have won” – whilst Made in Chelsea’sAndy Jordan, in a bizarre attempt to be meritocratic, added: “Made in Chelsea should be Made for Everybody. I like that.”
This delusional cocktail party loving ex-MP, it should be added, herself lives in Phillimore Gardens, W8 – one of Britain’s most expensive streets and one where houses regularly sell for upwards of £35 million – and is the very same woman who did little to nothing for the homeless whilst in office. Instead, Borwick mostly asked questions during her time at Westminster in support of the antiques trade in general and the ivory business in particular. She now wants to return.
In spite of Borwick declaring: “I’m not a politician anymore” on The Big Questions, her very own website tells a very different story. Its homepage begins with the announcement: “I have made no secret of the fact that I would like to be re-elected as your Member of Parliament for Kensington and represent my fellow residents in Parliament.” No doubt, soon, ‘Call Me Victoria’ will also be picking up the phones. God help the Conservative Party and God help Kensington.

Lady Borwick on: “Should drugs be treated like alcohol?”
Nicky Campbell: “I know you’re very against drugs, but, of course, George Osborne, David Cameron, Boris Johnson – It didn’t do them any harm did it?”
Lady Borwick: “I am sorry I cannot think of a reason why legalising drugs would be… [Interuption from an audience member] Hang on, I’m not in politics any more… The important point is legalising drugs is not going to make us as a nation healthier.”
Nicky Campbell: “Did you have a drink over Christmas?”
Lady Borwick: “Yes, but not very much.”
Nicky Campbell: “But, then, are you a hypocrite?”
Lady Borwick: “We’re just facing Dry January. We’re telling people they shouldn’t be drinking in January… Why do we want encourage people to get addicted [to drugs]? The most important point is that the drug dealers are not going to go away, they’re not going to give up and tend their own gardens I’m sorry to say. But if you legalise pushing outside our schools… They’ll find some other way of engaging in criminal activity.”
Lady Borwick on: “Is London only for the rich?” and the Grenfell Tower tragedy and gangs
Nicky Campbell: “Well Victoria, you were the MP for [Kensington] and it is a very divided city, London. Most people would agree with that.”
Lady Borwick: “Just a touch. Just a touch. I will touch on Grenfell because you’ve raised that.”
Nicky Campbell: “Can I read out one of your emails because it does concentrate minds on what the problem is.”
Lady Borwick: “I was just going to quickly say, having been to see Grenfell because while… I went to see Grenfell several times. I helped them form a residents’ association because they had some very, very valid concerns. And I of course, I passed on all those concerns to the police. This is no secret. This has been in the Guardian. This has been in the media. But the problem is this is a tragedy and today is all about: ‘Is London too expensive?’ but I think all of us in Kensington, everyone in Kensington and Chelsea, everyone in London appreciates what a tragedy this is and how…”
Nicky Campbell: “But on the subject of the two nations that we are living in in London. Those of us who do and these remarks come from an email [from Lady Borwick]. It’s very interesting because you say: ‘The local community was difficult to help in the aftermath of the disaster because rather like gangs they don’t go into another community.”
Lady Borwick: “I was explaining… I was explaining in a four page email that we need to reach out to them. You cannot expect people to come to you.”
Nicky Campbell: “Why did you say: ‘Like gangs’?”
Lady Borwick: “It’s like communities, groups. It’s just terminology, of you know, saying you’ve got to reach out to people. You’ve not got to expect in life that people are going to come to you. We shouldn’t be judging people. We should be here reaching out. And that’s why when I saw the Grenfell people, I went to see them.”
Audience member: “That’s quite a pejorative term…”
Lady Borwick: “OK, as a group, the people we had to deal with…”
Anna Minton (journalist and academic): “There was an absolute breakdown of relations with the community and local government over Grenfell.”
Lady Borwick: “I agree with that and it’s an absolute tragedy and we must make sure that, that that never, ever happens again… These people had genuine concerns and I went to see them about a whole range of things.”
Alex Proud (restaurateur and gallery owner): “The politicians weren’t interested and aren’t interested. You destroyed the city we live in.”
Lady Borwick: “I’m sorry. I am really sorry. I went and listened to various people and they had genuine, genuine concerns. They weren’t just about those things.”
Nicky Campbell: “Victoria, Victoria… Please… Moving on from Grenfell…”
Lady Borwick: “I don’t want people thinking I didn’t have genuine concerns.”
Lady Borwick on empty housing in London:
Lady Borwick (in response to an audience member saying “housing shouldn’t be about all the investment units in the golden postcodes of Knightsbridge and Kensington”): “We’ve got to have homes that people actually want to live in.”
Nicky Campbell: “Please, Victoria, come on. Let’s have someone else. We’ve got speak to someone else now.”
The studio audience on the BBC’s Big Question were hosted by Nicky Campbell and included Londoner’s pro and anti-drugs and those interested in the city’s housing crisis. The rabid right-wing journalist Peter Hitchens was also in the studio; later on Twitter the anti-drugs campaigner lamented: “Sometimes it is useful to have had some practice in being a minority of one in a TV studio.”‘Made in Chelsea’ ‘star’ Andy Jordan pointed out that the reality show did not portray the reality of life in one of the country’s richest boroughs; he also added: “They showed me driving round in a Ferrari. I actually own a white Transit van.”Lady Borwick plainly hasn’t caught up with the times. She wore a necklace that proclaimed: “Votes for Women” in spite of the fact that women got the vote in Britain 101 years ago in 1918.
‘The Steeple Times’ wishes readers a very merry Christmas and hopes for better times in 2019
Without doubt, 2018 has been what Her Majesty The Queen would have called an “annus horribilis.” Aside from the shitshow that has been Theresa May’s disastrous Brexit negotiations, greats like Jim Bowen, Aretha Franklin and Baroness Trumpington died and our beloved and once Great Britain seems to have sunk into an angry abyss.
Today, as families across the land come together to celebrate Christmas, all at The Steeple Times wish our readers happiness galore. We wish we could be more positive about our hopes for the future but sadly, in these times uncertain, nobody really knows what will come next.
Please, dear readers, have a wonderful day today and please be sure to pray for better times in the coming months.
The behaviour of Jeremy Corbyn yesterday is indicative of a new low in the conduct of British politicians suggests Matthew Steeples
Yesterday in the House of Commons, yah-boo politics reared its ugly head when Jeremy Corbyn allegedly called Theresa May “a stupid woman.”
In spite of Corbyn now claiming he simply referenced “stupid people,” this storm-in-a-teacup is indicative of the low level British politics have reached. As we face an impasse on May’s completely fudged handling of the disaster that is Brexit, do we need to have to witness this kind of behaviour by a man meant to be the leader of Her Majesty’s Official Opposition?
Elsewhere, Amber Rudd was sent on Sky News this morning to proclaim “the public don’t want another election and Brenda from Bristol especially doesn’t.” What does she want instead? She was not at all clear and later, on Adam Boulton’s All Out Politics, Lord Lamont suggested we’re headed for a second referendum or a “managed no deal.” The man who sang in the bathtub as the pound crashed on Black Wednesday in 1992 made out “all will likely be fine,” but the public rightly see something else: An almighty bloody mess.
It is time for a change: We need a plan and we need solutions. We do not need yet more excuses.
Repossessed Grade I listed Dorset mansion once worth circa £15 million for sale for £3 million; the catch? It’s burnt to the ground
An “exceptionally important,” Grade I listed, 38,000 square foot, 16th century country house in Dorset with 131.6 acres for just £3 million is certainly something that sounds like a bargain. Sadly, however, Parnham House, near Beaminster comes with a catch: it burnt to the ground in April 2017 and doesn’t even have a roof.
Remodeled by the architect John Nash in 1810 and subject to a costly renovation – sadly now obviously gone – since being bought by the late financier Michael Treichl and his wife Emma in 2001 for £4 million, Parnham House has variously been a family home, was requisitioned during World War II by American troops and was the School for Craftmanship in Wood from 1976 to 2001.

Now listed on the Heritage at Risk Register and likely to cost millions to restore, Parnham House’s destruction came about as a result of an arson attack on the property. The wealthy financier Treichl, who subsequently strangely left just £10,000 in assets in his will after drowning himself on Lake Geneva in June 2017. He is said to have suffered severe depression and possibly suffered catastrophic losses after betting on Brexit.
Offered for sale by Sanderson Weatherall, the estate also includes an undamaged dower house, an undamaged cottage and equestrian facilities. In addition there is a mature park, formal gardens, a lake, walled gardens, a deer park, a tennis court, a bowling green, a swimming pool, fields, woodland and a stream.
Parnham House – The Numbers
2018 – For sale for £3 million ($3.8 million, €3.3 million or درهم13.8 million).
2017 – Said to be worth £15 million ($18.8 million, €16.6 million or درهم69.1 million).
2001 – Sold to Michael and Emma Treichl for £4 million ($5 million, €4.4 million or درهم18.4 million).
Brexiteers in yellow vests shockingly take pride in blocking an ambulance from Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital on Westminster Bridge
Yesterday, Leave.EU’s official Twitter account proudly shared a video of Brexiteers in yellow vests blocking the road on Westminster Bridge.
Aside from declaring that “this is what happens when the establishment ignores the will of the people,” whoever posted this message on behalf of this ragbag organisation added a video of the protestors refusing to let an ambulance on an emergency run through.
Widely condemned elsewhere on Twitter by amongst others Sky News’ political editor Faisal Islam, the footage of this despicable occurence has been retweeted over 3,250 times and liked by over 6,300 people. With comments such as “you vile bastards” and “next week they’re gonna film themselves kicking a lollypop lady, that’ll show the elite” submitted in response, here is an account of behaviour that not even the miners would have stooped to in 1970s and 1980s.
Shame on Leave.EU and their cohorts for this supporting those acting in such a repugnant and irresponsible fashion; it only confirms how twisted they truly are.
Theresa May will likely win today, but, argues Matthew Steeples, the country will be ever poorer as a result
Theresa May is rather like a binbag: Something you want to throw out, but something that once you run out of, you wish you’d crammed in a little more. Equally, like the Duracell Bunny, she’s somebody who just keeps on going: Tell her a meteorite has landed in her garden and she’d deny it, tell her that her that wandering in wheatfields isn’t a wise idea and she’d argue to the contrary.
With odds of 4/6 at Coral of her retaining a mandate of leadership of the Conservative Party this evening, it’s all but certain she’ll win, but that will almost certainly lead to something else: Labour, the Liberal Democrats, the SNP, the DUP and others uniting in an effort to overthrow her by other means.
Mrs May may find solace in the fact that there doesn’t appear to be any other person in her party in a position to take her job, but she should remember this ultimately: All political careers end in failure.
Petulant child Tom Harwood makes a nuisance of himself on ‘Politics Live’ after previously claiming he can singlehandedly defeat ISIS and making comparison of Brexit to using a condom
“Contraceptives should be used on every conceivable occasion.”
Spike Milligan, Puckoon (1963)
Former leader of the student wing of Vote Leave Tom Harwood describes himself as being “sometimes on the news” to his 18,900 followers on Twitter, but, in fact, this petulant child just makes a nuisance of himself wherever he goes.
Yesterday, on BBC2’s Politics Live, Harwood had to be told to calm down by the show’s hostess Jo Coburn after he continually interrupted other guests, but elsewhere on YouTube he shares further evidence of his annoying conduct in videos with titles such as: “Amazing facts you won’t believe (and probably shouldn’t).” They are utterly pointless, not at all funny and simply indicative that this brat shouldn’t even be put in charge of a bus ticket.
Condom kid Tom Harwood came up with the idea of giving out Vote Leave condoms as a marketing strategy to encourage people to vote in support of Brexit
As if it were not odd enough that Harwood pledged to defeat ISIS when he stood to be the NUS delegate for Durham University in 2016 and campaigned for 12 year olds to get the right to vote in 2018, it was his activities at Vote Leave that make him stand out as a total self-serving, self-promoting pillock. Whilst most leave campaigners delivered leaflets (and travelled on that accursed ‘bus of lies’), Harwood took a different approach: He came up with a campaign to give out Vote Leave condoms. Captioned with such messages as “it’s riskier to stay in,” of the reasoning for using such a marketing gimmick, Harwood told The Telegraph:
“[Condoms] are a great and fun way to get people talking/interested.”
“They illustrate that the safer choice is to Vote Leave, allowing Britain to become a global player once again.”
So, there we have it: Brexit, if Tom Harwood is to believed, is nothing but a giant contraceptive and just what a Britain run by a bunch of 12-year old lunatics plainly needs.
