Kid Rock to sell 1935 Hudson Terraplane featured in 2009 film ‘Public Enemies’
A 1935 Hudson Terraplane custom two-door sedan used in the Great Depression era mob drama film Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale is to be offered at auction on 2nd April 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.



The restored car, which is currently part of Kid Rock’s collection, features a 350-cid Chevrolet V8 engine and a three-speed manual transmission. It has a “plush velour interior” and also comes with a DVD of the film in which it featured as well as poster sized shots of Depp with the car.

It’s basically a new car in an old body as it has a new engine. A fun little piece of movie history.
My sister and husband did all the original restoration if this vehicle. Always a pleasure to go for a ride in it, turned a lot of heads. They put so much work and hours into it. It’s a great are and a teal classic.
