Previewing Privé

A preview of this week’s Salon Privé at Syon Park

Many would suggest that the “must attend” events of the season number Royal Ascot, Henley Royal Regatta and such things as The Serpentine Gallery’s annual Summer Party. A more recent addition to that list is Salon Privé at Syon Park, an event that is now entering its eighth consecutive year that is happening this week from Wednesday 4th to Friday 6th September.

A reduced price £75 afternoon ticket is available all days including afternoon tea. All prices exclude VAT.

Amongst the highlights on show will be a Ferrari formerly owned by Steve McQueen, a 1926 Rolls-Royce Springfield Silver Ghost and a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K. This year, nearly 100 vehicles have been entered into the 11 classes at Salon Privé and with organisers reporting that these have a total worth of some £65 million, this will most definitely be a spectacle that no motoring aficionado should indeed miss.
