Matthew Steeples previews the spectacular “automotive garden party” Salon Privé 2015 at Blenheim Palace
Pebble Beach and Monterey are the ‘must attend’ car event in August but in September, car aficionados head to the UK for events including the Goodwood Revival, the RM Auctions Battersea sale and Salon Privé.

Hosted by the Hurlingham Club and Syon Park in previous years, Salon Privé moves to Blenheim Palace this year and will be held on Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th September. Featuring both the latest premium and bespoke modern models and an impressive concours d’elégance, the three day event includes not only amazing cars but also – for full ticket holders – a lobster luncheon and an open bar. There will also be an art and memorabilia fair and an auction by Silverstone Auctions.
