Out of the Ordinary 2015 – Christie’s South Kensington, Thursday 10th September 2015Featuring a fox with a plastic shotgun clutching a terrified pheasant, this definitely has something of Fantastic Mr Fox about it. This humorous piece certainly will provoke remarks.

A novelty shrapnel shell cocktail shaker – £1,200 to £1,800

Out of the Ordinary 2015 – Christie’s South Kensington, Thursday 10th September 2015Fitted with a pull-out rack holding four shot glasses and 56.6cm high, this brass and silver plated cocktail shaker will go down a bomb when brought out at home. It was made in America in the second quarter of the twentieth century.

A Welsh taxidermy specimen of a polycephalic lamb – £3,000 to £5,000

Out of the Ordinary 2015 – Christie’s South Kensington, Thursday 10th September 2015This creepy two-headed, seated lamb is set amongst “a stony landscape with snails, branches and plants”. It is presented in a mahogany case measuring 39.5cm by 80cm.

A model of Sigmund Freud – £5,000 to £8,000

Out of the Ordinary 2015 – Christie’s South Kensington, Thursday 10th September 2015This waxwork and fibreglass model of Sigmund Freud stands 175cm tall. It was made in the mid-twentieth century by Lyn Bamber and features this great mind in a tweed suit and cotton suit with his hands clasped behind his back.

‘Shoot to Kill’ by Joe Black – £15,000 to £20,000

Out of the Ordinary 2015 – Christie’s South Kensington, Thursday 10th September 2015For those wishing to release their inner warmonger, this oil, plastic and resin on aluminium artwork consists of an image of President Obama made up of 11,000 hand-painted plastic soldiers will appeal. It measures 231.1cm by 188cm.
