‘Meet The Russians’ “star” tells The Steeple Times to “step down”
We featured the forthcoming tackiest show of 2013, Meet The Russians, the other day and now we’ve had a missive from one of its so-called ‘stars’, a self-styled promoter named Alina Blinova.
Miss Blinova, who runs RuStyle, a business that seems to focus on charging people to attend parties that we’d rather avoid, took exception to our article and stated:

We’d rather not ‘Meet The Russians’ Whilst Made in Chelsea is harmless nonsense and The Only Way Is Essex car crash viewing, the plethora of similar shows that have followed are surely just indicative of the new lows British television has arrived at.
Meet The Pun
Party loving David Pun appears in ‘Meet The Russians’ We didn’t expect the first episode of Meet The Russians would offer anything other than clichéd claptrap, but there was actually at least one scene of note.
“You should just step down, and switch to some other subjects to discuss in your peaces [sic]. Maybe – overpopulated UK by its ex colonies [sic]! or Why ppl [sic] Jelouse [sic]? or Why ppl [sic] complain, critic and don’t do things to be remembered for?!”
Blinova’s entitled to her opinion but given that she also stated that there is a “huge group” of “JELOUSE ppl [sic] who can eat, watch soup [sic] operas on their sofas and complain that others work hard to spend HARD!”, she truly must be delusional. These very people are the only fools who’ll be watching the car crash telly in which she has chosen to “star” and already she’s turned attack dog on them.
This publicity hungry sort could plainly do with lessons in spelling and grammar but that’s aside from the issue. We offered Blinova a right to reply and if this was all that she could answer with, she may as well do the decent thing: head straight to DVD.

Great title. Having read about this woman, I see where you are coming from. She needs a new outfit also. Looks like a TRAMP.
Imagine being in Russia and writing such extraordinarily badly written letter in Russian to the editor of one of their papers. What a truly idiotic woman. Still, it’s our fault for ever allowing these nightmares into the country.
Her name should be smartened up by hyphening it to Miss Bling-Ova
Her events are RUBBISH. She claims to provide “networking” but the only people at these things are creepy old gits and desperate wannabes.
Apart from the murders the Russians are good news for London and should be welcomed. It is a great country and will grow ever richer over the next century so we should do our best to develop a relationship and communicate some of our values and institutions to them such as democracy, rule of law, toleration of dissent governance, respect for the environment, human rights etc etc.

The format of programmes such as Meet the Russians and The only way is Essex are based on suggestive sexual impropriety. The aim of these shows are to arouse sexual desire. The producers are shameless. A lady is suppose to emphasise the norms expected in a polite society. Back in the day we expected high standards from our women folks. It is Satan’s harvest.

Having been to Russian on business, on several occasions, the only one’s I have met ‘dressed with great style and elan’ seem to be financed by men, the source of whose fortunes are left best unprobed. Now, be a good chap and stop being petulant. Oh… and what is ‘hate speak’? Sounds direly Stalinist……

“Ignorant” and “insecure” is something that Miss Blinova plainly is. Steeples offered her a right to reply and she wrote abuse of this type. She plainly is as common as muck and should stick to her “SOUP opera” existence.
The Telegraph comments on the sophistication and innate courtesy of Russian men are just hilarious…..though they will doubtless upset Alex!
