‘Fox News’ terror expert Steve Emerson bizarrely claims Birmingham is “totally Muslim” and that religious police squads roam the streets of London and “seriously wound” people in non-Muslim dress
Those who make generalisations generally come unstuck and in claiming that Birmingham is “totally Muslim and non-Muslims simply don’t go in”, Fox News terrorism pundit Steve Emerson made an utter fool of himself yesterday.
Not content to make this remark of a British city that is 46% Christian in terms of its religious makeup, Emerson continued by stating:

Though he later apologised for his strange remarks, this foolish man is plainly as stupid as the bigoted (and banned from Britain) radio jock Michael Savage. We make Steve Emerson our Wally of the Week. He’d do well to take himself off air.

I appeared only once on FOX NEWS (though they have asked me many times). They do not pay their ‘pundits’ and the old adage that if you pay peanuts you get monkeys, applies.
Emerson worked with Frank Church, chairman of the Church Committee that did so much damage to CIA.
He has journalistic credentials but no background in security and intelligence.

He’s right about London, unfortunately. In some areas, gangs of muslims patrol and attack people drinking alcohol, women wearing short skirts or low cut tops, try to get people (including children) to convert to islam etc and if nobody complies with any of these points, they are physically attacked. Not sure why it doesn’t make more than just local news though. Maybe it’s ‘racist’ to mention it…?

The primary place is Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas but there’s quite a few ‘muslim patrols’ around the east end (particularly) in general. Their aim is to run the area themselves using Sharia Law and expanding from there.

Islam is a religion not a race. Therefore how can one be racist? We need to change the current situation where Islam cannot be openly discussed for fear of reprisal or offence. Its pathetic that the same old statements are regurgitated over and over again during any debate from those who follow Islam. No other religion is “off the table” for discussion, only Islam.
I completely agree with everything you say. I’m ignoring any comments of racist, bigot, islamophobe etc these days. I’m none of those things as can be evidenced on my tweets. When it comes to racism, on twitter at least, black on white racism is rife and vile and left to fester. There’s very little racism the other way around.
I think they go together in this case.

Banning a reporter from the UK for telling the truth! That’s bad very bad! The Russians did that type of thing in the 60s, now its happening in Britain.
It’s very odd that I have friends who are religious Sikhs, Jews and Hindu’s but none who are Muslim.
This might have something to do with Islam being an ‘isolating’ religion.
