Julian Assange and Lord Janner are both well-known individuals. They both face charges relating to alleged sexual assaults and they both think they’re above the law.
On Friday morning, Lord Janner – a man perfectly capable of making hundreds of public appearances and claiming vast sums in expenses despite allegedly suffering with dementia, failed to turn up at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and thus incurred the wrath of the presiding judge. In court, District Judge Emma Arbuthnot told Janner’s lawyer: “Stop messing around. I’m warning you that as time progresses I’m going to turn to the prosecution and say, ‘Let’s get a warrant to have him arrested. Let’s not waste time’… Lord Janner will appear in court today even if I have to have him arrested”.

Though he did eventually appear in the afternoon, Janner’s arrogance is akin to that of Julian Assange – whose attempts to evade justice have cost the British taxpayer some £12 million thus far – and as time progresses, what becomes clearer is that these two men are very similar sorts. Someone: Get this contemptible pair a room and preferably make it a jail cell.

My thoughts on Assange is that the sex revelations are dubious. Nobody came forward before or since. I’m as sure as I can be without being there that the accusations are unfounded and a political tool designed to make hiding away more difficult for him and to help extradite him. My beef with him is his giving away secrets that could be dangerous for the west. I still think he’s a knob. As for Jenner, he repulses me from top to bottom and don’t believe his dementia has stopped him from living his life as he did before his diagnosis to any large degree. It would be interesting to know how much he’s earned since his diagnosis. I hope they both end up doing time.
How has Assange cost the Brotish taxpayers £12Million so far? .. I understood that he took refuge in the Equadorian Embassey didn’t he? … So it should have cost them not us!

I don’t believe a word of what has been written of Assange. I dislike the man but his accusers seem hyper opportunistic. To couple him with Janner is just silly
