    As dopey, deranged and delusional Sarah, Duchess of York is hit with a £19 million lawsuit and is told to pay up, we again ask: “Did she ever repay the loans and other benefits she took from the known-to-her-to-be-a-paedophile Jeffrey Epstein?”

    Sarah, Duchess of York is not known for having intelligence; Sarah, Duchess of York, in fact, is well known for being beyond stupid, but now with news that she’s being dragged into a £19 million ($23 million, €22 million or درهم86 million) lawsuit alongside Lord Grade comes proof that this prattling pillock – who is about to launch a new podcast with the uninspired name Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah – is nothing but beyond the pale.

     

    Now, once again as the wastrel wench formerly known as Sarah Ferguson (AKA the ‘Duchess of Dork,’ the ‘Duchess of Deranged’ and ‘Feckless Fergie’ amongst other things) faces questions of “unexplained” loans of around £500,000 ($617,000, €576,000 or درهم2.3 million) being “made out to her businesses,” according to the Daily Mail’s Dominique Hines, it is once again time to ask this noxious nitwit a very important question.

     

    That question? “Did Sarah, Duchess of York ever repay the loans and other benefits she took from the known-to-her-to-be-a-paedophile at the time she took said loans and other benefits Jeffrey Epstein?”

     

    According to Hines, the delusional duchess and Lord Grade “are among the directors [of the media investment company Gate Ventures] set to face the wrath of liquidators determined to recoup the sum [owed].”

     

    Going further, Hines added: “[The Sunday Times reported yesterday] that the loan [to ‘Fergie’] has not been repaid and that her recent offer of repayment was so low that it was rejected.”

    Given the live-in ex-wife at Royal Lodge, Windsor of supposedly skint ‘Randy Andy’ – a non-sweating nuisance who got his long-suffering relatives to pay a supposed sum of circa £12 million to Virginia Roberts Giuffre, a woman he has previously claimed to have met – is in on a world tour to prattle on to anyone who pays to listen, perhaps she should be reminded of her own weird and even weirder warblings. They number:

     

    Of sex, herself and goats: “One of the worst headlines said 82% [of the population] would rather sleep with a goat than Fergie. It’s never left me.”

    Today hasn’t been a good day for two creosoted, verging on crocodile-like skinned 92-year-old billionaires. Both Bernie Ecclestone and Rupert Murdoch are again roasting on the coals.

     

    After moving more like Max Clifford than Mick Jagger at his last appearance at Southwark Crown Court in January, the bestie of the non-sweating, Pizza Express loving Prince Andrew that is the diminutive dwarf-like Ecclestone was dragged back to the same court again this morning.

     

    Arriving in a frankly common and more suitable for a desert in Dubai white coloured Range Rover, haggard Ecclestone – whom I am reliably told was supposedly nicknamed ‘The Grinch’ by those once very close to him – clambered out after his latest wife, Fabiana Flosi, wandered off far ahead. Curiously, relations between the two looked rather similar to those, in fact, of Donald and Melania Trump; distant and anything but dissolute.

     

    Meanwhile elsewhere, it was announced this very same day that Rupert Murdoch – freshly free of his very, very, very short-lived engagement to a clearly beyond wacky woman named Ann Lesley Smith – has agreed to a £635 million ($787.5 million, €720.5 million or درهم2.8 billion) settlement with voting equipment firm Dominion over lies over the 2020 U.S. elections. Pennies to him in real terms, but facing further suits of even more substantial natures this opposingly brilliant but much maligned billionaire seems to also have a lot of other woes on the way.

     

    For Murdoch, this payment may have been a relative ‘walk in the park, but I’d argue Sky’s hit series Succession has nothing on these two old crones – Roy Logan eat your heart out; the ‘fall years’ for these two have finally arrived.

    On Friday 20th January 2023, Bernard Ecclestone turned up at The Crown Court at Southwark for a case management hearing along with his third wife Fabiana and some other bloke. He gave a thumbs up to waiting photographers in a fashion akin to the antics of Max Clifford in that very same spot back in 2014 and appeared to treat the whole episode as a bit of a jolly. His actually frankly rather serious £400 million trial is scheduled for the 15th November 2023 and he stands accused of falsely claiming he had only set up a single trust for his daughters in an alleged failure to declare overseas assets to the taxman.

    Arriving at Westminster Magistrates’ Court last August, the 91-year-old – who curiously gave his address as being in Rutland Gate, Knightsbridge rather than Chelsea Square, Chelsea – looked like he hadn’t slept in decades or even bothered to have combed or washed his hair. The grey matter resembled, in fact, a decrepit bird’s nest.

    As “serious and new” allegations emerge against disgraced banker Jes Staley, when will the sickening stench of his links to Jeffrey Epstein finally result in his being taken down

    In May 2018, the casino banker and very, very, very close chum of the since croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein that is James Edward Staley (AKA ‘Jes’ to this greedy sod’s few remaining mates) was forced to pay a fine of £642,300 ($793,127, €730,016 or درهم2.913 million) and return of £500,000 ($617,000, €568,000 or درهم2.3 million) of his bonus also after being caught out for “breaching the standard of care required” when he attempted to unmask a whistleblower whilst CEO of Barclays.

     

    Now, as JPMorgan Chase proceed with their case against this 66-year-old Boston, Massachusetts born man who was also their group chief executive between October 2018 and November 2021, Barclays have further sought to distance themselves from Staley.

     

    In a statement released earlier this week to its shareholders, the firm suggested the latest allegations concerning how bankers financed and enabled the sex trafficking operations of Jeffrey Epstein (and thus also in reality Ghislaine Maxwell): “The board has noted the recent allegations made in the context of proceedings involving Mr Jes Staley’s former employer, and against Mr Staley himself, in relation to events a few years prior to his joining Barclays. These allegations are serious and new.”

     

    This morning on Twitter, Matthew Steeples asked: “Are Barclays taking the allegations against their “Snow White” and “Beauty & The Beast” loving former CEO Jes Staley and his involvement with the late paedo Ponzi schemer Jeffrey Epstein seriously enough?” As of 11am on Thursday 30th March 2023, the majority of respondents unsurprisingly favoured the answer: “No; new CEO should speak.”

    Attempting to stop further fuel being added to this toxic fire, however, they added: “Barclays itself has received no material new evidence from regulators or law enforcement agencies since Mr Staley left in November 2021.”

     

    Worse still were recent revelations that, in July 2010, Staley had begun a 1,200 strong chain of emails with Epstein featuring all sorts of deviancy. The worst of it included codewords that allegedly related to young girls and included correspondence that numbered:

     

    Staley: “Maybe they’re tracking u [sic]? That was fun. Say hi to Snow White.”

     

    Epstein: “[W]hat character would you like next?”

     

    Staley: “Beauty and the Beast.”

     

    Epstein: “Well, one side is available.”

     

    Asked of the “Snow White” correspondence previously, Staley’s lawyer stated: “[The emails were innocuous]… We wish to make it expressly clear that our client had no involvement in any of the alleged crimes committed by Mr Epstein, and code words were never used by Mr Staley in any communications with Mr Epstein, ever.”

     

    Going further himself in 2020, the 66-year old, Massachusetts born Boston Red Sox fan and Democratic Party donor whined: “Obviously, I thought I knew [Epstein] well and I didn’t. For sure, with hindsight with what we know now, I deeply regret having any relationship with Jeffrey.”

     

    Current JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon – described by CNBC as “one of the most powerful titan’s of Wall Street” and a billionaire who received the Legion d’Honneur courtesy of President Macron in November 2022 – is now about to face a grilling in connection to the scandal also.

     

    Though his spinners are painting Jes Staley as “the rogue employee” and trying to salvage the reputation of Dimon – who has a £393 million ($485 million, €446 million or درهم1.8 billion) stake in the firm he’s been in charge of since 2005 – an attorney for the U.S. Virgin Islands in the case against JPMorgan Chase this week stated:

     

    • “If Staley is a rogue employee, why isn’t Jamie Dimon?”
    • “Staley knew, Dimon knew, JPMorgan Chase knew.”
    • “They broke every rule to facilitate his sex trafficking in exchange for Epstein’s wealth, connections and referrals.”

     

    Responding, Patricia Wexler, a spokesman for JPMorgan pointedly prattled: “Jamie Dimon has no recollection of reviewing the Epstein accounts.” Mr Dimon, a 67-year-old New York born father of three, faces an under-oath interview in May in early May, Banking Dive yesterday reported.

     

    Discovery continues in this case and further hearings will continue into the autumn of 2023, but frankly, the question on everyone’s lips is: “Will Jes Staley finally be thrown to the wolves and end up as one of the very few exposed in a case that clearly involves many, many, many other very famous faces?”

    Acccording to Dirt.com, “the banker with nine lives” Jes Staley and his wife Debora Nitzan Staley purchased a Hamptons property for £10.7 million ($13.2 million, €12.1 million or درهم48.5 million) in October 2021 in spite of already owning a smaller 1-acre “spread” in Southampton. Of it, Dirt.com remarked: “The new place, in the snooty Murray compound in Southampton, sports the essential deeded beach access by way of a hedge-lined grass path. Also, at 2.6 acres, the property is much larger than their current one-acre spread. While the house itself is reportedly a teardown, there’s a sunken tennis court with pavilion, and a gunite pool. The building envelope for the new house is 12,400 square feet, plus a full basement. (Here in the Hamptons, we call the basement the ‘lower level.’ It usually includes a home theater, wine storage, gym, and rooms for staff.) At $1,000 a square foot for high-end building work… well, you do the math for a 12,000 square foot house.     Jes Staley (pictured here visiting Downing Street in London when he was the CEO of Barclay’s and still considered ‘Mr Acceptable’ in polite circles) has also been named in a separate lawsuit brought by victims of Jeffrey Epstein. In it, one victim, named only as ‘Jane Doe 1,’ has claimed Staley watched on willingly as Epstein “sexually grabbed young women in front of him” and “benefitted from their close relationship in the receipt of massages, private jet flights with victims or co-conspirators of the operation, and other things of value.” Going further, ‘Jane Doe 1’ added: “[Staley] was the key to making all of Epstein’s depraved dreams of sexual abuse and sex trafficking of countless young women possible.”

    “Obviously, I thought I knew him well and I didn’t. For sure, with hindsight with what we know now, I deeply regret having any relationship with Jeffrey” whined Staley in 2020 of his links to the croaked sex fiend abuse. Last night though, the MailOnline shared that the former boss of Barclays is now additionally being accused of ‘personally observing’ Jeffrey Epstein abusing young women, according to a victim’s lawsuit filed against JPMorgan.

     

    The paper’s Jamie Phillips surmised:

     

    “He has now been named in a lawsuit filed by one of Epstein’s victims, a woman known only as Jane Doe 1. She is suing JP Morgan, where Staley was chief executive until 2013 and had Epstein as a client.”

     

    “The lawsuit, filed at Manhattan federal court, alleges that Staley was aware of Epstein trafficking women and witnessed him abusing them… The woman also claims Staley would often visit Epstein at his homes, which included ‘the massage room’ within his townhouse in New York, as well as his private island in the US Virgin Islands and a ‘victim stash house’ in Manhattan.”

     

    Staley – who also took his wife on their 90-foot yacht named Bequia to Epstein’s ‘Paedo Islands’ in 2015 and whom exchanged 1,200 emails with the paedophile from his JPMorgan email account between 2008 and 2012 alone and goodness knows what communications elsewhere – stands accused in a lawsuit filed in Manhattan specifically of:

     

    “[Being] a regular visitor of Epstein’s … and personally observed Jane Doe 1 as a sexual trafficking and abuse victim at times including through his departure from JP Morgan in 2013.”

     

    “To be clear, during his years as a top executive at JP Morgan, Staley was not only one of Epstein’s closest pals, but more importantly, he was a frequent visitor at Epstein’s townhouse, including visiting the massage room; Staley met many of Epstein’s trafficking victims, including Jane Doe 1; Staley visited the Epstein-owned victim stash house apartments at [an address on the Upper East Side], and Staley personally observed the sexual abuse of young women, including Jane Doe 1.”

     

    “These actions were within the scope of Staley’s employment at JP Morgan.”

     

    “As a result of Staley’s direct and actual knowledge of Epstein’s sex-trafficking venture, JP Morgan had direct and actual knowledge of Epstein’s sex-trafficking venture.”

     

    Curiously Barclays had also previously counted Ghislaine Maxwell as a top-drawer client. The firm turfed out the pension pot plunderer’s dodgy daughter unceremoniously in February 2021, a day after the ‘buyer’ of her Kinnerton Street, Belgravia mews house deposited £130,000 there.

    Incapable of piping down and learning the art of silence, which might be wise given he’s upset a lot of very, very rich people by plundering their pockets, the aptly named Bankman-Fried has supposedly been having meetings with the author of the blockbuster The Big Short and getting tips about rap music and haircuts from the ex-con and ‘pharma thief’ Mark Shkreli.

     

    Having also hired the very expensive lawyers the noxious nonce Ghislaine Maxwell owes a packet to in spite of himself having less than £80,000 left himself, this 30-year old is back living off the ‘bank of mum and dad’ and had author Michael Lewis round to his parents £3.3 million pad for “several hours on Friday,” according to Associated Press.

     

    Lewis, who in addition to The Big Short penned Moneyball and The Blind Side – all of which were turned into Hollywood blockbusters – spoke of how he’d found a new “character” back in August with the Financial News.

     

    At the time, he remarked:

     

    “I really don’t want to reveal exactly what I’m writing about, but I found a character through whom I can write about. It weirdly links up Flash Boys, The Big Short and Liar’s Poker.”

     

    “I guess it is possible it will be framed as a crypto book, but it won’t be a crypto book.”

     

    ‘It’ll be about this really unusual character. You’ll learn all about crypto and you’ll learn about what screwed up market structure in the United States and so on.”

     

    Curiously, also linking Bankman-Fried to the mucky madam Maxwell, his case was reassigned to Judge Lewis A. Kaplan last week – the very same judge who handled the civil case between Virginia Roberts Giuffre and Prince Andrew back in January this year.

     

    ‘Randy Andy’ subsequently paid a sum of £12 million to Giuffre in spite of claiming he’d never had sexual relations or even met her at Maxwell’s Belgravia, London ‘bonk pad’ back in March 2001; the non-sweating, Pizza Express loving royal will be mocked again tomorrow in a Channel 4 satire titled Prince Andrew: The Musical.     Birds of a feather do tend to flock together and now it seems the daughter of the pension pot plundering thief Robert Maxwell’s lawyer has moved on and taken on another alleged scammer. Now, it seems, fresh from failing to keep her out of the clink in 2021, mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer Mark S. Cohen has taken on alleged cryptocurrency conman Sam Bankman-Fried.

     

    Said to once be worth as much as £21.5 billion ($26.5 billion, €25 billion or درهم97.3 billion) but now down to one working credit card with “maybe £81,000 ($100,000, €95,000 or درهم367,000) in that bank account,” self-declared “I didn’t ever try to commit fraud” Bankman-Fried is surely hardly a dream client but clearly Cohen, a former assistant United States attorney for the Eastern District of New York, is banking on getting a win rather than a lose this time round.

     

    Given, however, that Bankman-Fried also spoke “against the advice of his lawyers” earlier this month at The New York Times’ Dealbook Summit, one is simply left questioning this managing partner at Cohen & Gresser’s rationale. In fact, let’s get to the point: Is Mark S. Cohen just a man who is actually a magnet for multimillionaire megalomaniacs who simply cannot and will not ever pay their bills?

Cohen, seem as likely as Ghislaine Maxwell ponying up and paying her outstanding said to be £3 million plus legal bills.

    Supposedly, as we revealed in September, at least £3 million to the various lawyers she hired in conjunction with both her husband Scott Borgerson and brother Kevin Maxwell, the former lover of Jeffrey Epstein now needs another £845,000 to even begin working on any appeal against her 20-year prison sentence.

     

    Of where the money of a once very, very wealthy woman who most definitely has links to the ownership of the not currently on the market £1 million ‘Tuckedaway’ in Bradford, New Hampshire and the very much still for sale £6.5 million ‘The Phippen Smith House’ in Manchester-by-the-Sea is, The Mirror’s Alahna Kindred suggested:

     

    “Mr Borgerson controls almost all of Maxwell’s funds through a trust fund, which includes what she has left from the £12.6 million sale of her New York home.”

     

    “It was previously reported that the firm was repeatedly told by Kevin Maxwell that Borgerson was in control of Maxwell’s assets and that it was because of him the payments were delayed.”

     

    “Mr Borgerson, who married Maxwell in 2016, reportedly met with her brother Kevin and her US lawyers to discuss the appeal.

     

    “A source claimed to the paper that Mr Borgerson was ‘being difficult’ but promised to send the funds. However, in a separate instance, the firm later accused him of acting under ‘false pretenses’ after not receiving the money.”

     

    “The source added: ‘Her lawyers have not been paid. That is a serious matter in itself. Worse, she needs to come up with another $1million to fund the appeal. Right now, Scott’s given her nothing.’”

     

    “When contacted by The Mirror, Mr Borgerson pointed to a court document from September that showed Colorado law firm Haddon, Morgan and Foreman, which acted for Maxwell in the trial, said Mr Borgerson ‘expressed cooperation, transparency and honesty’ in regards to the ‘alleged transfers of property.’ He refused to comment further.”

     

    Going further, we today suggest, it is time for forensic analysis of what other funds Miss Maxwell has managed to stash away with the help of Borgerson and her family. Again, we ask: “What happened to the £500 million plundered from pensioners and funneled by Jeffrey Epstein – a man who met Robert Maxwell long before his daughter did – to build a lifestyle beyond ludicrous for his daughter in America and elsewhere?” Evidence suggests this money was managed not only by the since croaked Ponzi schemer, but also held in locations including Jersey and Lichtenstein and it is now pertinent that the relevant authorities do their due diligence and locate these funds.

     

    Meanwhile elsewhere, it seems that others who’ve fallen victim to ‘The Bouncing Czech’s’ deviant daughter’s inability to cough up include her pugnacious PR peddlers Brian Basham and Jay Beecher. The former hasn’t even managed a tweet on any subject since 11th July whilst the latter grubby gifter’s ‘The Maxwell Files’ website has not even had any form of update since 18th April.

At that time, she quoted a bit of Edgar Allan Poe – “But the Raven still beguiling my sad fancy into smiling” – and stated: “Loved learning more about these marvelous creatures with Jim Benhke for this week’s Cricket.” Clearly, whilst she then got to “smile” when Ghislaine Maxwell got sent down on 29th December 2021, all the mucky madam got instead was an errant husband who, it seems, has run off with her ‘wonga wonga.’

Frankly though, let’s get real, that was never, ever going to happen in a story so sordid and one that seems to just be rabbit hole after rabbit hole.

     

    Supposedly now owing a sum estimated by legal experts as high as £3 million ($3.2 million, €3.4 million or درهم11.8 million) in unpaid fees to various lawyers alongside her estranged husband – who it can now be revealed she “married in or about August 2015” and not later in 2016 as has been claimed previously – croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s mucky madam mistress, her strangely secretive husband Scott Borgerson and her brother, Kevin, have now incurred the wrath of one firm of lawyers to the point that they’ve rather ironically gone all Donald Trump and declared: “You’re fired!”

     

    With Quinatiros, Prieto, Wood & Boyer having given up on her and her cohorts after “repeated requests” for payment, Maxwell now has 60 days to find new attorneys, but, as the DailyMail.com pointed out earlier this week, “it is unclear where will find the funds to pay them.”

     

    In documents filed in the US Virgin Islands it was also shockingly revealed that Epstein had agreed he “would always support Maxwell financially” and that Borgerson had made “suspiciously timed [property] transfers” through companies named Tidewood LLC and Granite Realty LLC.

     

    HMF’s current lawsuit alleges: “Granite, Mr. Borgerson and other entities associated with Mr Borgerson including Tidewood LLC, acquired several high-end properties including two condominiums in Boston, an estate in Manchester, Massachusetts [‘Tidewood’], and an estate in Bradford, New Hampshire [‘Tuckedaway’].”

     

    Meanwhile elsewhere yesterday, Law & Crime reported that actor Kevin Spacey is trying to distance himself from his former chum and clearly wouldn’t be averse to chucking her under the bus Frank Underwood style.

     

    According to the paper’s Meghann Cuniff, lawyers for the actor “are trying to bar an expert who testified in Ghislaine Maxwell‘s criminal sex trafficking trial from testifying about the credibility of Spacey’s accuser in a civil sexual assault trial scheduled to begin next week.”

     

    Going further of the court documents, Cuniff adds:

     

    “A memorandum filed Monday in the Southern District of New York calls psychologist Lisa Rocchio‘s expected testimony ‘a thinly-veiled plan’ to vouch for accuser Anthony Rapp‘s credibility under the guise of expert testimony. It also calls for Rocchio to be prohibited from testifying about what motivated Rapp to publicly accuse Spacey in 2017 and from opining about Spacey’s psychological state and whether she believes he assaulted Rapp.”

    Not one of the four most infamous Ponzi schemers in history – Bernie Madoff, Jeffrey Epstein, the eponymous Charles Ponzi and Steven Hoffenberg – died either respected or renowned. In fact, all four will simply be noted in history as grubby grifters who caused mayhem and misery for all they encountered.

     

    On Twitter, yesterday, prior to it being picked up in the mainstream media, crusading author of Ghislaine Maxwell: An Unauthorized Biography Kirby Sommers revealed that the latest of this number to be found dead was Steven Hoffenberg – a conman credited by some as being the individual who helped Jeffrey Epstein on his path from taxi driver to trader from 1987 onwards.

     

    In the years that followed, Hoffenberg went on to become a man who ultimately came to blame his protégé for his own imprisonment for twenty years in 1997 for his £404 million ($475 million, €479 million or درهم1.7 billion) Towers Financial Corporation fraud – which became known as the largest Ponzi scheme in history until Bernie Madoff was exposed in 2008.

     

    Brooklyn born, originally Jewish and later rather predictably a born-again Christian, Hoffenberg – whose exact date of birth remains unknown and whose first suspected brush with the law, which he always claimed to be a case of mistaken identity, was connected to the theft of a £12,800 ($15,000, €15,100 or درهم55,100) diamond ring in 1971 – made his first fortune buying debt in the 1970s. He is said to have been introduced to Jeffrey Epstein through the British “arms dealer” and intelligence asset Douglas Leese (1927 – 2011) in 1987 – a man said to be the former’s “mentor” since they had first met in London in 1981. Leese’s son, Julian, however, span the tale of the introduction slightly differently when he spoke on the Defiance podcast and claimed it was he, himself, who did the introducing and not anything like that that Hoffenberg repeatedly purported in his many media interviews.

     

    At that time, whilst Leese was not only fraternising with the likes of Adnan Khashoggi and Prince Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud doing billion dollar arms deals, he also is said to have recommended Epstein to Hoffenberg by tellingly, given what was to come in future years, supposedly shared: “The guy’s a genius, he’s great at selling securities. And he has no moral compass.”

     

    With Epstein brought into his orbit as first an employee – though remarkably never his patsy – Hoffenberg embarked on a series of corporate raids that included failed bids for Pan Am and the Emery Air Freight Corp and finally very briefly in 1994, ownership of the New York Post.

     

    This period was key to Hoffenberg’s downfall and of such, Sommers shared with The Steeple Times what she termed “a fabulous article that I’ve kept under wraps for a few years now” from an April 1993 edition of The New York Times in a direct message.

     

    The feature, by a journalist named Diana B. Henriques, revealed that Hoffenberg was scuppered in a similar fashion to Madoff – whose failure to repay the small investment of the cleaner of the feeder fund honcho Frank Avellino’s resulted in her going to the FBI and the beginning of his end – by a small-time amateur newsman and “self-taught muckraker” from Rushton, Louisiana named John Hays.

     

    “Hard-drinking, chain-smoking, cowboy-booted… blunt back-country publisher who [loved] to raise a ruckus” Hays had long claimed Hoffenberg was trying to pull a Ponzi-like scam in his neck of the woods, but had been met with mockery, resistance and disinterest. His hunch, however, paid off when “whatever money could buy” private jet possessing Hoffenberg’s decision to buy the New York Post threw him before nationwide limelight and scrutiny that ultimately resulted in the crook’s conviction on five counts of securities fraud, tax evasion and obstruction of a Securities and Exchange Commission inquiry.

     

    After getting out of jail after serving 18 years for a con that resulted in 200,000 investors losing vast amounts of money, “still deviant to his core” Hoffenberg conveniently found God and illustrated his continuing ability to cross political and social divides by marrying outside Trump Tower in 2014. That the body of this one-time associate of others linked to Bill Clinton was found alone and left decomposing in a grotty flat in Derby, Connecticut after a welfare call from Jeffrey Epstein accuser Maria Farmer also speaks volumes as how the once mighty can well and truly fall.

     

    As Kirby Sommers rightly concluded of someone with the same moral compass as Bernard L. Madoff and Charles Ponzi himself: “To be frank, I didn’t trust him. He lied throughout his life… Throughout the last couple of years, he spoke of the money left in Epstein’s estate as ‘belonging to him.’ [He] claimed the money that disappeared in Towers Financial was stolen by Jeffrey Epstein. And, his goal was to get a piece of the money Epstein left behind.”

     

    Steven Hoffenberg most certainly failed in that goal and like Charles Ponzi probably died delusionally believing: “Even if they never got anything for it, it was cheap at that price. Without malice aforethought, I had given them the best show that was ever staged in their territory since the landing of the Pilgrims! It was easily worth fifteen million bucks to watch me put the thing over.”

Upon arrival the body of a white male was found deceased and in a state where a visual identification could not be made. The body was transported to the office of the chief medical examiner (OCME) where an autopsy was performed on Wednesday, August 24. The initial autopsy revealed no trauma sustained by the decedent. Official cause of death is pending further toxicology study. A subsequent dental record comparison is underway to make a positive identification and subsequent notifications to appropriate next of kin. This page will be updated once OCME confirms the identity. Thank you for your patience.” Responding, Facebook users commented: “It’s a multi-family property so the neighbours probably couldn’t put up with the smell any longer” and “well, well, well… Another Epstein fan gone. Ciao!”

    Bidding for the ‘New York Post’ was undoubtedly a stupid move on the part of the Towers Financial Coporation chief as the public attention it brought left him open to the scrutiny of his other very dodgy affairs.

    Virtually nothing appears about “incredibly well connected” yet “understated” Douglas Leese (born in 1927 in Elstow, Bedfordshire to an “affluent” tractor cam gear manufacturer) on the Internet. He has, however, been described by Hoffenberg as “Epstein’s mentor,” owned a large manor house in Wiltshire and was referenced in the House of Commons on 24th January 1996 by George Galloway MP (pictured above) as “a British businessman” with “close connections with an offshore bank, the Bank of NT Butterfield in Bermuda.” On the very same day, Galloway mentioned also “bribes and commissions” relating to the Al-Yamamah deal, British Aerospace, Astra, Orbit Communications, Thorn EMI, Vickers, Vosper Thorneycroft, Sikorsky, Saudi Arabia and “middlemen” and decision makers including Prince Sultan, Prince Mohammed, Colonel Thomas Dooley, Fahd al-Athel, King Fahd, Wafic Said, Jonathan Aitken, Michael Gay, Sir Colin Chandler and Mark Thatcher amongst others. “Something of an enigma” Mr Leese at one time had a flat in The Dorchester Hotel and reportedly had “fingers in many pies” but those that describe him as ‘Sir Douglas Leese’ are actually incorrect – though he did win two Queen’s Awards for Industry in the 1970s and 1980s.

    As part of a podcast series titled ‘Defiance’ that was released on Apple Podcasts on 12th October 2020, Tom Pattinson interviewed “international ‘Mr Fixit’” Douglas Leese’s son, Julian, for 3 hours. Reviewing it, Epsteinsblackbook.com remarked: “This is interesting indeed, as he tells of his friendship from the time young Jeffrey Epstein (pictured above with Lord Mandelson) visited his family outside London to learn about the British upper-class life. Julian taught Jeffrey how to shoot a hunting rifle, and Epstein taught young Julian about maths, and probably how to pick up girls. Douglas Leese taught Epstein about how to live like an aristocrat, and possibly about shady dealings with corrupt regimes. Leese describes Epstein as very charming, very bright, very ambitious, and very interested in sex. He does not excuse any of Epstein’s acts, but claims to be completely unknowing of any illegalities from either Epstein, himself, or his father Douglas Leese. He further describes Epstein as a tragic character in his later years, after he got arrested in 2008, and that his suicide was not surprising. In addition to interesting stories from one of Epstein’s oldest friends, his statements do possibly provide some more background into Epstein’s dealings with Hoffenberg and Towers Financial. As well as an almost chilling remark saying something about Ghislaine making the otherwise self-assured Epstein unusually meek. After being taken into the warmth by the Leese family, Epstein did ruin his relationship with Douglas Leese by going on a spending spree with his expense account. Flying on Concorde Jets and booking 5-star hotels was what Epstein did with other people’s money before he got hold on his own. This behaviour seems to be a pattern for Epstein. Befriending powerful people before ruining their relationship and moving on. This does strengthen the theory that Epstein was completely amoral, saw relationships as merely transactional, and was extremely charming.”

    Of Epstein – who fell out with his father over expenses that the British businessman thought were “not quite right” in 1984 to 1985 – Julian Leese – who himself last met with the since croaked paedophile in New York in 2013 but communicated with him up until days before his 10th August 2019 death – observed: “Given the personality that he was, I think he wanted to try and get as many contacts as possible. Indeed, during my conversations with Jeffrey, I’ve never heard him talk about Khashoggi and actually, even though it’s many, many years ago, I just don’t think the datelines, erm, I think my father actually met Khashoggi after he fell out with Jeffrey, so I really don’t understand the connections that people are making.” Going further Julian Leese added: “There are always many, many rumours about Jeffrey. Jeffrey, as I told you before, loved to be mysterious, I did hear him talking about being a bounty hunter. I have to say we all took it with a pinch of salt… Because of Jeffrey’s mysterious [ways], today, if he were alive, he’d be rather pleased that there are so many press reports with these sorts of aspersions, but do I believe it, no.”

A legal wrangle in California was handled by Mickey Kantor, now President Clinton’s trade representative.”

    As ‘The Steeple Times’ pointed out earlier this week, the Metropolitan Police’s failure to proceed with their investigations into the activities of Ghislaine Maxwell in the 1990s in London is telling, but so also is that they shuttered an investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s London activities more recently. Why is this and what on earth could the since croaked paedophile have been upto on his visits to the capital to see to the Leese family in the 1980s and Prince Andrew, Kevin Spacey, Jes Staley (pictured) and others in the years beyond?     “I’m not ignoring you… I’m practicing selective hearing” is description used of individuals when they selectively choose to ignore anything they don’t want to actually hear. Clearly, at Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday, 91-year-old Bernie Ecclestone clearly practiced just such.

     

    Speaking on behalf of this notorious skinflint and one of the few remaining friends of the non-sweating Duke of York during the short 5-minute hearing, Ecclestone’s barrister, Clare Montgomery QC, told chief magistrate Paul Goldspring that her client “was having problems hearing the proceedings.” He was thus allowed not to have sit in the dock. How terribly swell.

     

    Responding on Twitter of a tone deaf, dwarf-like man his own daughters allegedly call ‘The Grinch,’ Matthew Steeples of The Steeple Times yesterday remarked:

     

    “Bernie Ecclestone claimed he couldn’t hear when he appeared in court on a £400 million ($470 million, €474 million or درهم1.7 billion) fraud charge this morning. Strangely he hears whatever Putin and Prince Andrew have to say to him, yet he can’t hear prosecutors and a judge. Who on earth does this coffin dodger think he is?”

     

    In spite of his ability to jet off anywhere on his private plane, Ecclestone was surprisingly granted unconditional bail by the judge before the next hearing at Southwark Crown Court on 19th September.

     

    Meanwhile, elsewhere, in Leeds the trial of his ex-son-in-law James Stunt and 12 other defendants, relating to an alleged £266 million ($313 million, €315 million or درهم1.1 billion) money laundering and forgery ‘scam,’ has been ongoing since April. God only knows how much that has cost the nigh-on-empty public purse.

     

    Both Stunt and Ecclestone deny the clearly very serious charges against them, but one thing’s for clear in all of this – millions in money has brought no kind of joy to either of these individuals.
