Sami Raja stole £2.4 million ($3.2 million, €2.8 million or درهم11.5 million) from 130 elderly victims. He was convicted and jailed for eight years, but has never served a single day as he went on the run prior to being jailed.
Now, this arrogant ‘Rich Kids of London’ member has proceeded to further insult those he’s scammed by posting images of the luxury lifestyle he is now enjoying in the Maldives, Ibiza, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and Punjab.
Alongside images of himself in designer gear and in five star hotels, 32-year-old Raja posted captions that included: “Im living life right now man and this is what ill do till its over” [sic] and “Aint no one bursting my bubble” [sic].

Rightly, in response, one victim, 89-year-old Dennis Smith, told The Telegraph: “The way Raja is living now makes you sick. I think that the police should be pursuing him to wipe the smile off of his face… I can’t really describe how I feel about him without swearing.” He is quite right. This shameless cretin should be brought back and he should get extra time for his arrogance.

Why was his passport not confiscated? And how much has he paid back? Probably nothing. The law is an ass.
I recall seeing him in bars and restaurants. The hideous clothing he wears was quite unforgettable and quite garish. He stuck out like a sore thumb and I thought: “Spiv” My instincts were right and I just feel sorry for the victims of this all-round nasty piece of work.
I hope he gets himself arrested for something in Dubai. They won’t mess around – he needs some tough justice. Cane the bastard. In fact, chop off his thieving hands.
I agree with Eric, the law is a complete ass. I suppose this scum bag was given bail which allowed him to abscond. How come he still had a passport. Only 8 years for 2.5 million the great train robbers got 30 years. I would have banged him up for st least 15, and also told him he has to pay back the money to his victims, the bloody law is a joke.
