Peter O’ Toole was my kind of actor, he was wicked in Goodbye, Mr Chips, Becket, My Favourite year, he left a great legacy. Netflix must take notes, we the concerning viewers despise shit…….
During Peter’s drinking years … when I met him many times inn Soho and around. Always fun. His look-a-like and great chum was Jeff Bernard, whom he went on to play in Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell by the great humorist Keith Waterhouse – they were all great chums. Peter and Jeff looked very alike, albeit Peter was about 10″ taller.
