Jailed at least twice for offences numbering human trafficking and tax evasion, he paid “several million dollars” for his new name when he was adopted by Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt in 2006 and allegedly gave his wife, Zsa Zsa Gabor, a cheque for $6 million after she lost vast sums in Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme. Of his life, Marcus Prinz von Anhalt comments: “Success and wealth were always my highest goals. The life of luxury, the international jetset, millions in bank account and domiciles in all the world’s hot spots, owning the most expensive cars, travelling around the world on yachts and private jets, having the most expensive watches and the newest designer clothes, all that was very important to me, for it shows me that hard work and success DO pay”. You really just couldn’t make it up.

He also took a lot of Roman Catholic money and a lot from drug barons in South America. It is surprising that they haven’t dealt with him.
